Vic & Anna were wonderful hosts! We had plenty of space in our room, the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. We enjoyed sitting in their backyard under the stars, and with a cup of coffee in the morning. We felt like we were at home in a neighborhood, not in a hotel room with limited space and no outside access. Breakfast was wonderful, and just right for a hot day of hiking! We made our selection from the delicious choices, and everything was fresh: fruit, eggs (they have chickens!), home-baked bread and homemade jams. We visited Canyonlands and Arches NPs while staying here, and Anna was very helpful in telling us when to go and what to see. I've already recommended Desert Hills B&B to some friends.

We absolutely loved Desert Hills! Our room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The house is beautiful and has a wonderful garden with a really nice hot tub. Anna and Vic are fantastic hosts, kind and caring. They make a delicious breakfast every morning. The perfect place to stay when visiting Arches National Park, Moab and surroundings!

My husband and I had a delightful 2 night stay with Anna and Vic at Desert Hills Bed and Breakfast. They are wonderful hosts and have a charming home on a beautiful property on the outskirts of Moab. We stayed in the family suite and had a private entrance to our room from the back patio. The breakfasts were outstanding, made to order eggs (from their chickens), waffles, fresh fruit, homemade breads and jams among their offerings. We would definitely return and highly recommend staying there if you are looking for a place in the Moab area

If you are in Moab to visit Arches or Canyonlands you must stay here. Anna and Vic are the perfect hosts. They have thought of everything so you don’t have to! Our room had two sinks and a large countertop, a tub with shower, a couch, a frig and a very comfy bed with extra pillows! There is always coffee and ice. It is quiet so you can get a good nights sleep before hiking in the parks. Anna and Vic are experts on the parks and gave us invaluable information before we left for the day. The best part of staying with Anna and Vic is breakfast! They make fresh bread and Vic’s omelettes are to die for!

Desert Hills Inn B&B is DEFINITELY THE PLACE TO STAY to stay to really EXPERIENCE the beauty of Moab! Upon our arrival Vic and Anna met us with a gracious welcome to their home. We had a full tour their property, which included a front & back yard, two decks and fantastic views of the Red Rocks to the west and snow-capped mountains to the east. I found the back yard great for stargazing, too. Each morning we were treated to a delightful breakfast made especially for us. Vic and Anna also gave us advice on additional sites to see in the area, so we could experience more of Moab. And we were centrally located to reach Arches and Canyonlands. We really appreciated being able to quickly drive into the town for dinner, but also to be away from the congestion of the main street of wall-to-wall hotels, packed streets and traffic. IT WAS WONDERFUL to have the calm and serene of staying at their bed and breakfast. Treat yourself to a truly wonderful experience in Moab by staying at Desert Hills Inn with Vic and Anna.

We had a very lovely stay at the Desert Hills Inn! The breakfast was so delicious and we were impressed with much of it was freshly homemade (bread, jams, yogurt, etc)! It really fueled us for long days of hiking and exploring the area. The location was super convenient to Arches and to downtown Moab which made it really easy to access the park and the shops and restaurants of downtown. Our room was lovely and clean and the bed was so comfortable. Our room was also incredibly quiet so that even with a fully booked house, never heard other guests and were able to sleep in both mornings which was so wonderful. We loved getting to chat with Anna and Vic and learn more about their experiences raising chickens, their family, and running their B&B. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back soon! We would highly recommend the Desert Hills Inn as a place to stay in Moab!

Desert Hills B&B is DEFINITELY THE PLACE TO STAY while in Moab! Vic and Anna provide an amazing experience of being home away from home. We were treated to a customized breakfast each morning with homemade bread, jams, yogurt, fruit plate and eggs to our liking. We enjoyed having their front and back yard and patio to relax in whenever we wanted. Great stargazing, too. And we were able to begin and end our days in the relaxing setting of a HOME with red rocks to the west and snow capped mountains to the east. They also gave us insight into what to see in the Moab area that is not on the ‘tourist’ route, which really was the ‘icing on the cake’ for us. We definitely loved the fact that we could easily reach Arches and Canyonlands but not have to stay on the main street of wall-to-wall hotels, restaurants and lots of traffic. Definitely treat yourself to a stay with Vic and Anna to really experience Moab!

Outstanding! Anna and Vic are so warm and welcoming. And their home is a reflection of them. The rooms are quiet and clean. The beds are super comfortable. Anna and Vic are happy to share their knowledge of the area and the parks and make recommendations. Whatever you do, don’t miss breakfast!

Yelp
Lovely "newer" home in peaceful setting. It's close to everything but away from the mobs of people lining the streets and filling the restaurants. Breakfast? OMG - the BEST I've ever had - and I'm in my 70s. Red Rocks Room was spacious and full of amenities for a relaxing stay. Bathroom is well appointed and modernized. Ever element of excellent service was with a smile. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Our first visit to Moab to visit Arches National Park and Canyon Lands. We booked our stay at this charming BnB. This place exceeded our expectations. The owners, Anna and Vic, run this well-appointed bed and breakfast. Anna makes sure that all the guests are taken care of and Vic is an amazing chef. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. This place is located just outside of town and is very quiet and away from all the traffic noise from all the semi-trucks going thru town at all hours of the day and night. If you are planning a trip to Moab, I highly recommend this place for your stay. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
This place is incredible! Vic, Anna, and Andre were so gracious and wonderful. Everything in their website--about the amenities, breakfast, etc were all true and then some. Every morning, I had my first cup of coffee at the garden looking out into the mountains. I never was an early morning breakfast person but during my stay, I couldn't miss the homemade bread, yogurt, eggs from their chickens, and vegetables from their garden. I had this omelette with arugula( from their garden, of course) and cheese that was garnished with green onions and laced with fresh olive oil and balsamic -delicious! Oh, and the jams and jellies were homemade as well. The room was comfortable with an awesome firm bed- perfect after hours of hiking. There was an aura of peace and tranquillity. The railing on the deck had a variety crystals, rocks, and minerals that presented a sense of connection and invitation to all. So fortunate to find this beautiful place.

Yelp
Amazing Bed and Breakfast about 4 miles from Moab in a quiet location. Cozy, clean, and comfortable. Anna and Vic and fabulous hosts - they make you feel at home and everything is perfect. They are super helpful and go out of their way to make you feel at home. This B&B is the best place we've ever stayed. Outstanding breakfast, and just an all around wonderful home away from home. Fresh chicken eggs and homemade bread, hot tub, and just classy yet reasonably priced. We didn't want to leave.

Yelp
Such a lovely place to stay! My husband and I really enjoyed our short stay here. Anna and Vic were wonderful hosts with a beautiful home. Our room was cozy and well equipped. We even found robes in the closet. On top of that they gifted us a bottle of wine to help us celebrate our first wedding anniversary, which was so sweet! We enjoyed a nice soak in the hot tub and took in the peaceful scenery. Also, holy smokes the breakfast the next morning was SO delicious. Homemade bread, homemade jam, fresh fruit, and huevos rancheros ...mmm!!!

Yelp
Ten years ago we booked time at this bed and breakfast and loved it! Last night we returned and had some wonderful conversation with Vik and Anna over an amazing meal. Desert Hills isn't just a place to stay. Your hosts are warm, loving, well-connected people who go way above and beyond to make your stay special. Vik cooks phenomenal meals, often designed to meet unusual needs. Anna can help you find the adventure of your dreams. We can't recommend this B&B more enthusiastically!! Thank you Vik, Anna, Andre, and Willie for sharing your home with us.

Yelp
Vic and Ann were great hosts! After we arrived, Ann gave us a tour of the house and wanted to make sure that we felt at home. The whole house was pretty much available for the guests to use. There's a tv room where we can play games and watch movies. There's juice, milk, yogurt, soda in the frig and coffee, cookies, and fruits on the countertop 24 hours a day. There's a big dining room/table with plums and apricots from their yard. Outside there's a hot tub, grill and patio/table available. Everything was very clean. Oh yeh, and you can even do your laundry! For breakfast, you have a selection of cereal, bread/toast, yogurt, juice, coffee, fruit and then a main dish of the day to select from. They encouraged us to take some of the fruits for the hikes. The rooms were very clean and the temperature in the house was well moderated at all times! Location wise, it was 10 to 15 minutes from Arches so it's not the most convenient, but it's definitely worth the drive! Highly recommended and would definitely go back again.

Yelp
Found this little gem of a bed-and-breakfast about 4 years ago, and we just keep coming back. Located a little south of town, it is a home that has been converted into a B&B. The place is spotlessly clean and quite charming. The owner/hosts, Vik & Anna go out of their way to make sure the guests feel welcome and comfortable. They are both very knowledgeable about the area and activities that are available. We have taken their suggestions on multiple hikes, bike rides and restaurants and have never been disappointed. They willingly help out booking reservations for activities, dinner, massages, shuttles, or whatever you need. The best part of a stay at Desert Hills is the amazing breakfast that Vik cooks up. The eggs are fresh from their chickens and the greens from their garden. There's homemade bread, jam, and yogurt. Every morning is a delicious new treat. The rooms have small refrigerators and there is access to ice. The neighborhood feels very safe. There are lots of little spots in the yard to have a glass of wine and watch the moon rise or gaze at the stars. Much better than downtown Moab, away from the hustle and noise of Main Street. It's super fun to meet people from all over the world at breakfast and hear about their adventures in the desert. I almost hate to write this review as I don't want this place to get too popular! Thanks for another great vacation, Anna & Vik

Yelp
We spent 5 nights with Vic and Anna at their B & B and were delighted with their attention to detail, helpfulness and the first class accommodations they provided to us. The room was comfortable, clean ,cheery, and quiet. The breakfasts were fun, delicious and varied each day. The hosts gave us lots of information on how to get to the various parks we wanted to visit as well as specific information about different hikes we contemplated. These folk know the national parks and Moab inside and out and were invaluable guides.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of BnB's for activity vacations like this one -- a good breakfast to start off the day and apres biking/hiking I can enjoy a hot shower and cozy bed. Desert Hills exceeded my expectations and was like a home away from home. Vic and Anna were fantastic hosts (working their Thanksgiving celebrations around our check-in time) and opening up their cleverly designed house to all guests. We had access to a game room and library, a living room for TV/movies, beverages in the fridge, fruit and fresh-baked cookies in the kitchen, and most importantly an outdoor hot tub to ease creaky joints and enjoy the shooting stars every night. In addition to the various dry cereals, breads and fruit available each morning, Vic cooked us up a hot breakfast (omelets stuffed with fresh spinach, tomatoes and cheese on day 1; blueberry pancakes that melted on your tongue for day 2). Our room (Red Rocks) was spacious, clean and cozy. We had a clean en suite bathroom, sitting area and fridge to make our stay more convenient. The views from our room and around the house in general were spectacular -- red rock mesas or snow-peaked mountains. One last comment on the insane knowledge-base of our hosts... We fully intended to hit the Info center in town to plan our 2 day mountain-biking tour. Anna stepped in and helped plan our trip, providing first-hand information on atypical trails to suite our skill levels. We were both completely chuffed at the end of each day -- it was a great introduction to biking in the area. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely be back for more!

Yelp
This is truly an amazing place! The house was beautiful, the bed was cosy, and the breakfast was delicious. Anna and Vic were exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to make sure our stay was excellent. We had the misfortune of hitting a deer, which put our car out of service, and Anna and Vic went out of their way to make sure we had a warm meal when we got back from the ordeal. If you're ever in Moab, I wholeheartedly recommend the Desert Hills Bed and Breakfast. And it's only about ten minutes from Arches, so who can complain?

Yelp
When we arrived we were welcomed by Anna and Vic and from the moment of arrival I had the feeling we had been here before, as it felt homely. This feeling became stronger after our first night. We were served a breakfast with fresh eggs laid by the chickens that silently populate the henhouse in the back garden of the B & B. In the early evening the chickens, don't worry there is no rooster, are let free in the garden to pick their bugs-meal in the grass. Maybe therefore there are no annoying insects during the evening while sitting on the porch at the back of the house. We spent 4 nights with Anna and Vic and we had a wonderful stay. During the day we made trips everywhere and when we returned in the late afternoons fresh cold drinks, fresh coffee and tea was awaiting us. Anna and Vic helped us out in finding good restaurants and interesting places to visit. In short, a heavenly stay with two lovely and friendly people. I sure hope that you as reader of my review will have the same experience. I am sure that when we visit this region again this is the place we will stay. Anna and Vic thank you so much!!

Yelp
We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Desert Hills Bed & Breakfast. Vic, Anna and even their son, Andre, made us feel welcomed and comfortable. They made every effort to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Anna even did our laundry. We were impressed with the conditions of the rooms and the impeccable cleanliness. The bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the ability to freely use the media room and kitchen (except for the range). We appreciated all of the personal touches in our rooms and the common areas, including Vic's handmade dining room table and other handmade appointments/furnishings. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. In the rear yard there is a hot tub (there are extra towels, robes and sandals in the room for that) and a grill for use by the guests. Guests can use the back porch to sit out and relax. At night you can view the stars without a lot of light pollution from street lights and the city. We were impressed with the gardens and chickens We enjoyed the breakfasts made with fresh ingredients and fresh breads. There were free drinks and snacks available to us throughout the day. Vic and Anna are very knowledgeable about the area and were able to give us good recommendations as to what to see in the area. We especially enjoyed the time we spent with Vic on his 4-wheel drive tour. We liked the petroglyphs and the off-road trip. We enjoyed the conversation. The next time we are in the Moab area, we will be staying at their home.
