😊: The place is nice and cozy, but I had too many problems in finding it and then now with the payment which was arranged through Booking.com and finally not arranged at all!!!!. 😢: The owners were never there during my stay. It was very complicated to get to the house, because the Waze did not function that day at least in that area of israel, and I had to talk to several neighbors to find finally the house. The numbers in the street are erratic, and maybe people can think that not everyone has telephone or Waze available, we are not ALL of us, Israelis or rich americans, we also come from other regions of the world (like me form Mexico) where all this is not common place. Anyway, once there, as nobody came and I had to leave at 11h as told when I made the reservation, and also due to the fact that I have done several reservations one each day for another location in the same booking.com, as I have done for years with no problem and with the same card for about a year, I did not kbow that this one was to be paid in cash on arrival but anyhow.. to whom?, since there was NOBODY, never... In Mexico, no one could have the silly idea of leaving cash in a house where if there is no one. And now, the owners complain that I did not do that. Sorry, but there were no instructions whatsoever, NOTHING, and I could not connect to them, and they never ever phoned to tell me what to do!!! I even talked to them and asked if they were coming during my stay when a lady neighbor accepted to call them to know where was the house, that even she as a neighbor could not find!!! Now, they are messaging me to ask why I did not leave the money there! this is unconceivable, at least in my country. I did not know it was not paid and I don´t know if it correct not to be there to receive your guest and THEN arrange whayever payment you think is due! Anyway, They cannot undermine my score at Booking.com since they did not say anything and now they claim my card is not functionning, which is wrong! All my payments are OK with that card, registered and used often in Booking.com.

Great room for a couple of days, very clean, very quiet. We had a nice time. Plus there is a hot tub in the garden which is free. David the manager has some cool tips and knowledge about the area. Had a blast in the spice quarter which is close by. Don’t hesitate for a second!!

This is a great bed and breakfast. It has really cute decor that made our rooms feel very welcoming. There were special touches all over the room making it feel warm and cozy. We were greeted with sweet treats in our room, such as cookies, fruit and nuts. The rooms were clean and the perfect size. The owner could not be any nicer and was super sweet & helpful! The breakfast was excellent and very delicious and had a variety of different foods to meet everyones likings. Our stay here was amazing and the owner made it even better! I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast for all types of travellers!

😊: Great bed, lots of towels and gowns No basic kitchen utensils such as peeler chopping board or veggie knife.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night. We were blown away! The place is stunning, we had our own (huge) balcony, kitchen and room separately. The rooms have snacks inside, like nuts, cookies and pretzels. The room also has a lot of candles, which is really nice :) The breakfast is EGGselent! :D They deliver it to your room at your given time. The perfect way to start your day :) We stayed in another villa close by the day before, and it was around the same price, and it does not even come close to the room here. The service is also a plus, we were able to text/call with any questions, and they are super helpful with getting around. They also have two super cute cats. The hot tub is open 24 hours, and is really relaxing and romantic. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! I recommend anyone to come here if they have a chance.

Desert Home was simply stunning. I stayed there with my mum and we had a little studio with a seperate bedroom and a sleeping couch in the living area. The big balcony facing the desert is so lovely and there is sun all afternoon till sunset. The room is beautifuly decorated and well equipped and you can tell that the owner put a lot of effort and thought in that. We didn't have any other accomodation on this level of quality on our trip through Israel. One of the owners welcomed us personally. He was very kind and offered us his help with any questions about the place and also the region. If you stay there on a Shabbat make sure you order some Jachnun (traditional jemeinite breakfast) at "Jachnun Chofshit" nearby (order in advance!). They deliver it to your door in an old VW beetle. Desert Home is rather pricey, maybe even a bit overpriced. But we still thought it was worth it. Since the weather was not super stable during our time in Mitzpe we were very happy to have such a cozy and amazing place to stay at.

We had a lovely stay at Desert home. Access is convenient and there is plenty of parking around. The building doesn’t give credit to the inside because there are lots of small details that make a stay memorable, such as the decoration, the fully equipped kitchen, great bedding, the soaps (the best I have ever seen, and so unique that we went to buy them at the Faran shop nearby) and the breakfast! the best we had during our 3 week stay in Israel and with fantastic bread. The owner is there and that shows. We were a little unlucky because of the strong wind, so we couldn’t use the terrace, never mind, however the managed to visit the region and that was well worth it. I can’t think of a better place to stay.

Lovely tzimmer for couples in the residential area with a view to the desert. Beautifully decorated desert style with a fully equipped kitchenette. Coffee, tea, sugar, milk and cookies in the room on arrival. Hot tub in the unique yard. Lovely rooms. No breakfast currently but the owner gave an order in option.
