Great room for a couple of days, very clean, very quiet. We had a nice time. Plus there is a hot tub in the garden which is free. David the manager has some cool tips and knowledge about the area. Had a blast in the spice quarter which is close by. Don’t hesitate for a second!!

Desert Home was simply stunning. I stayed there with my mum and we had a little studio with a seperate bedroom and a sleeping couch in the living area. The big balcony facing the desert is so lovely and there is sun all afternoon till sunset. The room is beautifuly decorated and well equipped and you can tell that the owner put a lot of effort and thought in that. We didn't have any other accomodation on this level of quality on our trip through Israel. One of the owners welcomed us personally. He was very kind and offered us his help with any questions about the place and also the region. If you stay there on a Shabbat make sure you order some Jachnun (traditional jemeinite breakfast) at "Jachnun Chofshit" nearby (order in advance!). They deliver it to your door in an old VW beetle. Desert Home is rather pricey, maybe even a bit overpriced. But we still thought it was worth it. Since the weather was not super stable during our time in Mitzpe we were very happy to have such a cozy and amazing place to stay at.

One of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed! The staff is so welcoming and helpful and the room felt like a spa. The kitchen had everything we needed. The porch had a beautiful view and was very comfortable. Would be excited to stay here again!

This is a great bed and breakfast. It has really cute decor that made our rooms feel very welcoming. There were special touches all over the room making it feel warm and cozy. We were greeted with sweet treats in our room, such as cookies, fruit and nuts. The rooms were clean and the perfect size. The owner could not be any nicer and was super sweet & helpful! The breakfast was excellent and very delicious and had a variety of different foods to meet everyones likings. Our stay here was amazing and the owner made it even better! I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast for all types of travellers!

The best experience of accommodation you will ever get in Israel! Every thing is so neat, nice, cozy, country, stylish and wonderful. The real place even better than in the photos and the owner is super kind and accommodating while giving you also private space. We got the best room that seems the biggest one in the (supposed to have) 4 rooms building overlooking the ramon crater, locating in 2nd floor. The room is so huge, super clean, cute and lovely. All facilities they provide from hair dryer to cotton bud.

Good sized room, tastefully decorated. Some nice touches like decent bath products and books about the area, basic cooking necessities like oil and salt, milk in the fridge (assuming you prefer cow milk). The room lacked some basics like a wardrobe. There were a few hooks but we were unable to unpack our suitcases during our stay. Maybe dedicate less space to ornaments and more to storage for guests. The decor of the room was somewhat spoilt by us having to store our clothes on every available surface, after moving the ornaments. Also too much light in the room at night. There were 3 curtains on the main window but none large enough to block the light at the bottom. Plus 3 different light sources from TV at the foot of the bed. We covered these with sweaters and blocked the curtain bottom with cushions. I'm used to doing this in cheap hotels but expect a more professional finish in rooms costing 200-250 euros per night. Worst check in ever. We were delayed with car trouble and arrived late (after warning the owner). Exhausted, stressed, no roaming, flat battery - just wanted to get in the room. Rather than send door code and room number, owner asked that we call so he could 'guide us in' to our upstairs room. Not very practical when loaded with suitcases. The door was open so we went in to the only apparent upstairs room with a key outside. It's a 5 room hotel. We messaged him, and learned that we'd found the wrong room. He told us it was similar but of course we went to locate the right room. We hadn't unpacked, used the room or even really entered. The room originally intended for us was bigger and warmer (cold night) so we moved our bags and messaged him again. I can see that this could be irritating for the host. But we didn't want to bother him, we just wanted the room intended and prepared for us, that we were paying a lot of money for. He called me back and without any question or explanation exploded in a fit of rage. In a very aggressive and disrespectful manner he ordered us to return to the other room. Having spent a lifetime in customer service I was able to calm him down and he quickly apologized for his inappropriate outburst. Too late. It was very upsetting, the first night was ruined and I slept badly. Amateur.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night. We were blown away! The place is stunning, we had our own (huge) balcony, kitchen and room separately. The rooms have snacks inside, like nuts, cookies and pretzels. The room also has a lot of candles, which is really nice :) The breakfast is EGGselent! :D They deliver it to your room at your given time. The perfect way to start your day :) We stayed in another villa close by the day before, and it was around the same price, and it does not even come close to the room here. The service is also a plus, we were able to text/call with any questions, and they are super helpful with getting around. They also have two super cute cats. The hot tub is open 24 hours, and is really relaxing and romantic. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! I recommend anyone to come here if they have a chance.
