Where to Stay in and Around Zion National Park

"Bed and bath: 1 bedroom, 1 bathTop amenities: Awesome pool views, private terraces, great locationBest for: Staying close to the park and fab restaurants At Desert Pearl Inn, guests are just a stone’s throw away from Zion’s South Entrance and walking distance from loads of delectable Springdale restaurants, like Camp Outpost Co., which is right next door. But it’s not just the inn’s great location that we love; inside even the simplest rooms, guests will find loads of creature comforts, like premium Beautyrest mattresses, kitchenettes, bidets, seating areas, and private balconies that boast phenomenal views of crimson Navajo sandstone. Plus, there’s even a pool for those scorching summer days." - Emily Pennington

We spent 3 nights at this delightful resort. The location is great with the Springfield shuttle at the door. We stayed in a river facing room that was fabulous. The room is very clean and a little rustic but charming with everything one could require, including a kitchen. The best part was the balcony facing the river. We enjoyed sitting outside and the noise of the river. |The staff at this resort are great and professional, bending to every request.|After a day of hiking it was fantastic to have a swim in the beautiful pool and relax on the loungers. |There is no restaurant in the resort but one next door. We purchased food and supplies from a supermarket 5 minutes away.|Our room was quiet and we slept really well in the comfortable beds.

My wife and traveled to Zion National Park in Sept 2025 and had the pleasure of staying at the Desert Pearl, Springdale Utah. After a long drive from Nathrop Colorado on 8 Sept, we finally arrived around 8pm. We were tired and hungry, upon checking into the Hotel, we felt an immediate ease and relaxing. The front desk staff were fantastic and honest about where to find something to eat. |After checking in, we got to our room and found the room to be the cleanest ( I pay attention to the smallest detail ) and most relaxing room we’ve stayed at. |I was incredibly surprised to find the room that nice and sanitized. |The interior was decorated tastefully and as my wife describes it “ simple classy elegance “|The balcony had a view of the Virgin River and Mountain behind the Hotel and was very private. |Upon leaving the hotel in the morning for a day in the National Park, I was able to see the hotel in the daylight. Again, I was incredibly surprised to see how the landscaping was perfectly manicured and taken care of extremely well. The hotel was taken care of and you can tell the employees have pride in their work. |After long days in the park, it was the perfect hotel to come back to and unwind and relax. |Upon checking out ( the process was very fast and easy ) I spoke to the General Manager, who was super nice and patient ( I like to talk, lol ) was easy to talk to. |I can’t recommend this Hotel enough. |I hope that it continues to be a great Hotel moving forward in the future. And continue to pay attention to the smallest of details and take pride in their work. |Thank you Desert Pearl !!

Great place to stay when visiting Zion national park. Just outside the park entrance with easy access to shuttles. I'd recommend renting ebikes (there's a bike rental place attached to the hotel) to see the park - it's so fun and convenient. We had a river facing room, it was peaceful and comfortable. The fridge and kitchen area make it easy to do your own meals if desired. Staff was very helpful.

Google
A perfect location and lodging for Zion. We stayed at several places during our Utah trip and no place compared to Desert Pearl. Large comfortable room with everything you might need. Large balcony overlooking either the pool or river. Views from both stunning. Shuttle stop to Zion entrance directly in front of hotel. We didn’t move our car for 3 days. Walk or use shuttle to variety of restaurants- all high quality. Pool and jacuzzi spotless. It may seem pricey but when comparing to other choices in immediate area it’s in line with the market. Housekeeping was impeccable!!

Our family of 6 (two rooms) absolutely loved our stay. Every good thing stated below can be reiterated, especially the comments about how the Dessert Pearl looks and feels in person just as good as it seems in the pictures. We stayed in the King- Walkouts and loved the direct access to the pool. Great view both directions here. Staff and maintenance crews were all wonderful, constantly working to keep the place in tip top shape. Even the "sleeper sofa" mattress were super comfortable. ||*Note about the rooms* ||The King walkouts have direct access to the pool (see map attached)... The 2-Queen walkouts are off to the side (if looking at the hotel from the street, they are to the right of the pool with a big lawn area in front). ||If I had one slight caution for staying here, I could imagine that if I was assigned one of the rooms furthest to the right (if looking at the hotel from the street) then I might not love that as those were most adjacent to the neighboring restaurant.||We walked around back to the rooms along the Virgin River and they seemed to have a more private setting. But for us, with the kids, we much preferred and enjoyed being next to the pool and walking freely in out of our rooms, or sitting on our patio watching them play/swim if we wanted more shade, etc. ||If renting E-bikes (a MUST do IMHO) then use the e-bike shop in front of the hotel. They give you a nice discount and allow 12-year olds to ride solo unlike many others who require solo riders to be older. ||We cannot say enough wonderful things about the Desert Pearl Inn. We could not have been happier there during our 3-days at Zion.

I really didn't want to write this review for fear that even more people will fall in love with this resort and it will become even harder to get reservations. ||Booked a river suite for 14 days. Wonderful stay. Check-in was easy. The suite was beautiful and very clean. The grounds are well-kept. Swimming pool was nice...hot tub was just wonderful...used it every day. The few requests we had were quickly responded to by housekeeping/maintenance departments. Check-out was simple and fast. My wife and I have stayed at several places in Springdale -- but now this is the only one we consider.

Perfect place to meet up with family and enjoy Zion National Park. Great location for the park, shuttle and dining. We flew into St. George and rented a car, by the way easy airport and car rental. The other two families were on multi-day Utah trips. Two families were in riverside rooms and one pool side. I believe everyone enjoyed their choice. The riverside offered daily deer and fawn visits. The eleven of us did our own thing during the day but returned in the afternoon to enjoy the pool. Which surprisingly was never overly busy even with temps at 105+. The kitchenette was nice to have an easy breakfast start to the day, refrigerator was nice size and used the dishwasher a couple of times which was great. We even cooked chili/cheese hot dogs for the eleven of us. The house keeping was amazing. They did a great job keeping everything clean and nice. On a side note, we left some travel binoculars behind and had a message when we landed to give them a call. They arranged to have them shipped to our home and they arrived today. I would not hesitate to suggest this hotel to anyone.

This was our first trip to Zion and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Rooms were huge, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. We had a river view room and waking up with coffee on our large balcony with extremely comfortable adirondack chairs was so peaceful. Pool & hot tub was a wonderful treat after hiking during the day. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance & bus stop right out front of the property. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I've stayed here a few times now and it is Absolutely Gorgeous! I always look forward to staying here when visiting Zion. Their suites are nice and spacious with a well equipped kitchenette that comes in handy when traveling with family. Rooms are beautifully decorated with a modern rustic vibe. Cleanliness is top notch! They offer a great list of amenities. I love the convenience of having their laundry facility to wash our clothes after a day of hiking. But my absolute favorite is the Stunning backdrop view of Zion NP from their pool! It is a sight to see! Entire property is well maintained and manicured. Staff are always friendly and accommodating with exceptional service. It is centrally located near restaurants and shops. Shuttle stop to Zion is just outside the property or a 15min walk to the park's entrance. . Always a great experience! Will be back on my next visit.

Yelp
I've never stayed in Zion and didn't know anything about where to stay but I'm glad I picked this hotel. My girlfriend and I celebrated our to your anniversary here and had an amazing time Loved the room Everything was brand new and had a dishwasher microwave and refrigerator in the room. Had I known I would've brought my electric car because they had plenty of car chargers right outside your room The restaurant on the property was so good almost the best food we eat in here

Yelp
We stayed for three nights and loved it. Immaculate rooms with comfortable beds AND comfortable pillows. The kitchenette was nicely appointed with a mini-fridge, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, and a four-cup drip coffee maker. The property was Impeccably-maintained by a seemingly ever-present & friendly staff. The pool was inviting, refreshing & relaxing after a long, hot day of hiking- it was wonderful relaxing in a lounge chair staring at the scenic view. Our riverside room also provided us with daily visits from the friendly resident deer! The property is located walking distance from the entrance to Zion, but there is also a shuttle stop across the street that will take you directly to the park. We loved everything about our stay!

Yelp
Room was terrific and the view out back was awesome. They are on the pricey side, but their central location in Springdale and the quality of the room was worth it for us. We were only there one night on our way out of Zion (stayed in Zion Mountain Ranch the other two nights of our trip) and wished we would have stayed at Desert Pearl the whole time. The room amenities (towels, hair care, etc) were all very high quality. Loved the gemstone soap!

Yelp
My significant other and I stayed at this hotel while exploring Zion National Park. We were celebrating a birthday and decided to splurge on the hotel. I absolutely loved this hotel. We rented a king room, second floor, overlooking the Virgin River. We sat on the balcony every evening and every morning. Loved it!! The room was spacious, we had a king bed (amazingly comfortable!), hardwood floors, a couch, small kitchen table, fridge, sink, counterspace for food and drinks. This room was so spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms were a nice size. Overall it was a fantastic experience. There is a restaurant onsite, a pool and a hottub, which we didn't use. I wish we could have but we spent most of our time in Zion. The hotel location was very close to the visitor's center. We walked to the visitor center to get on the Zion shuttle, but you could also take the town shuttle to the visitor center. Very centrally located. We walked to dinner each evening. Loved this hotel.

Yelp
Wow! Our stay here was amazing! It's worth it for the views alone! We stayed in a river view room, and had the most incredible back patio, lawn, view of the mountain and enjoyed the sound of the river. It was so serene and beautiful. The room was large, open, and full of light with a huge door and windows! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub on property. It was wonderful! We rented E-Bikes from the store on property and had the best time riding through Zion one evening! The service and front desk staff was amazing! The facilities are beautifully maintained. We can't wait to come and visit again.

Yelp
Definitely a wow factor type property. Very spacious suite. Overall good experience. We paid extra for the "River View" which is not much of a view at all. Just trees and a little stream. Just get a room with a pool view, save yourself some money. The room was pretty awesome though, all hard wood, back wall all windows, cool bathroom set up with double sliding doors so multiple people can get ready at one time, and very comfy beds. Our hotel phone did not work. VCR/DVD player in room. Like who has those still? When you make a reservation, make sure to request the TOP FLOOR. Sounded like a heard of elephants above us for 2 days, at all hours of the night, keeping us awake. Lame. Also, DO NOT walk barefoot on the pool deck. Like walking over fire and hot coals. Burns WILL occur. Everyone was running from the water to their chairs. The architect/General Contractor dropped the ball big time making the pool deck red rock stone. Need something to absorb 100+ degree weather and water. Cool little restaurant attached to the property called Camp Post. Delicious margaritas. Friendly staff. Great service. But WAY too many other great properties to stay at that are less expensive and just as nice. Good experience. Will try a different property next year.

Yelp
We stayed at the desert pearl inn on March 19 th for a couple of nights . Our room was spectacular. We had a small kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven and even a dishwasher. The view was beautiful with the virgin river running right behind the hotel. The location was top notch, Zion national park was so close. Restaurants and stores were within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here.

Luz L.

Yelp
Desert Pearl is an oasis. We will return again and again. It is beautifully landscaped with shady and beautiful native plants, well staffed, and incredibly located and the coffee at reception is pretty great. Whether you stay pool side or Riverside every room is and every balcony is a treat for the senses.

Yelp
The absolute best place to stay in Springdale. The view from the back deck is amazing. Watching deer and wildlife is a show in itself. Walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops.

Dianna S.

Yelp
Desert Pearl Inn was exactly what was advertised - spacious room with kitchenette, beautiful balcony and tremendous views. The room was spotless upon arrival. The location is fantastic - you can walk to restaurants and there was a shuttle stop outside the property. The attached restaurant was excellent and quite convenient. Highly recommend staying here for your visit to Zion !!!

Yelp
I'm super picky about hotels. this gem absolutely blew us away. perfectly appointed rooms with spacious layouts, fully stocked kitchenettes, floor to ceiling windows of Zion and great housekeeping. Rooms were super clean, great amenities and LOTS of storage. we stayed in double room facing the mountains/river view and it was magical. Coffee on the porch with the river rolling by and even had a deer trot through one morning. Located in the heart of Springdale there are tons of restaurants and the shuttle stop nearby. Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
Excellent location, beautiful views, helpful staff. We loved how centrally located the hotel was and how close to Zion NP, restaurants, and shops. We ended up renting ebikes from Utah E-bike Adventures, which was so conveniently located right at the hotel. Ebikes were our favorite way to explore the park!

Yelp
Came here with the family for spring break week to visit Zion National Park. This place did not disappoint at all. From arrival throughout the stay they've been extremely friendly and attentive. Everything is so organized and cleaned, the rooms are very well kept. The feeling is that they take pride in keeping this place clean. Stay overall comfortable and cozy. In addition, great location for the entire street area for restaurants, ebike rentals, shops... more importantly, you're pretty much next door to the entrance for Zion. I would definitely stay here again.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is absolutely the best. Right outside of Zion. Location 5 Sits right on the River. Very Clean. Great Balconies, nice furnishings. We would come back to Zion just to stay here. You can walk to everything.

Melissa B.

Yelp
Room was better in person than pictures! Enjoyed second floor river view suite. Sitting on the balcony with a beverage listening to the river and discussing the awesome day we had in Zion was relaxing. Comfortable bed, very clean, and spacious. Staff were fabulous, and even notified us of a shirt left behind. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Fantastic hotel. Location is walking distance into Zion National Park and the surrounding restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. There is also a free shuttle stop right out front that takes you to the park entrance. Every room has a spectacular view. The kitchenette with a dishwasher(!) was perfect for making easy meals. The sofa beds actually comfortable!! Customer service was excellent. 10/10

Yelp
I have stayed many times at The Pearl. Location in Springdale is perfect for visiting the park and town. Always stay on the river. No road noise.Just a wonderful view of the mountains and the river. The grounds are lovely. The rooms are spacious and amenities great. The Patio or deck off the river rooms, are the best. The hotel and rooms are THE CLEANEST I have ever stayed. The cleaning staff do a great job, and are all so friendly. Front desk was able to jockey my reservations so I did not have to change rooms. A shout out to Shae! "THIS IS THE PLACE" to stay......
google avatar

Liliana L.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the location, cute little down named Springdale. 5 min drive to the entrance of Zion National Park. The hotel room itself was very spacious and clean. We chose a riverside room- behind our room was a little grassy area (which was nice for my son to run around), after that grassy area is where the Virgin River flowed directly through. The staff was nice, the beds were comfortable. I liked how there was a mini fridge, toaster oven, sink and microwave. I really wish there was a little stove-like a little kitchenette. That would have been perfect! Aside from hearing footsteps from the people in the room upstair, our stay was great here.
google avatar

Leslie H.

Yelp
I can see why this place has 5 star reviews. We stayed here for three nights and it was *perfect.* the location cannot be beat- there's a shuttle right outside of the hotel that takes you into Zion. The pool was a nice midday break for our kiddos, and the hot tub was nice for the adults. The room has a toaster oven, microwave and dishwasher so we were able to cook in our room (we also brought a small rice cooker). The restaurant next to the hotel has delicious food. The Mountain View behind and in front of the hotel is amazing. We will definitely be staying here again!
google avatar

Yelp
Called in ahead and asked to check out 1 day earlier. Front desk said that the won't do any refund even though we gave them notice ahead of time. Plus we had to book an extra day prior check in to be able to check in 2 hours earlier. Long story short. Pretty cool hotel with Zero flexibility and zero cooperation. Service is not the best as well however it's not terrible Felt disrespectful paying the money and getting this kind of attitude

Lisa S.

Yelp
Wonderful place close to shuttle and quick ride to Zion. The Virgin River is right there!

Edward D.

Yelp
Just wow. Considering what we saw as rentals while in Zion, I thank god we spent a few more bucks because it was so worth it. Coming back to our room after a hike or adventure felt awesome. Cold A/C, beautifully landscaped property, a kitchen , clean towels, etc...all on point. Even seeing 6 or so grounds people tending to the pool at 7am gave me a feeling of ... well... peace. Sitting under the starts riverside, beautiful views of the canyon, close to all shops and eateries , well it's fair to say my experience with my wife was as close to perfect as it gets . If I had one recommendation it would be to put a FULL SIZED coffee pot in the room. My caffeine is important and making 5 single serve or (two small cups) at a time was, well... the ONLY gripe I had lol. Otherwise , book it. You won't be disappointed. I'd go riverside for more privacy.
google avatar

Yelp
Great location and even better room. The pool and the grounds were kept extremely well. Everything was super clean. Best pillows and bed and sheets, and I'm very picky.

Bend L.

Yelp
Great location for exploring Zion. Shuttle access. E-bike rental next door. Walking distant to downtown. Friendly staff. EV charging.

Pete K.

Yelp
The location, rooms, pool, and views were all incredible. Plenty of parking and easy to walk to lots of shops and restaurants.

Yelp
We simply loved our stay at Desert Pearl Inn. Our river view room offered great sunset views of the majestic cliffs of Zion, with a soothing gurgling sounds of the Virgin river. Just grab your chilled beer, or a glass of your favorite wine or just a cup of coffee and relax on the patio. Our room was also lovely with high vaulted ceilings, warm decor, and well appointed kitchenette complete with a dishwasher; all of which was impeccably clean. My mildly germaphobic husband was impressed . The property is very well maintained, one of the closest hotels from Zion Visitor center, offers an on-site laundry and the best amenities for my family was the on-premise Utah E-bike rentals. It was so convenient to just pick up our bikes from the hotel and hit the P'arus trail within a mile. On the whole if you are looking for convenience, comfort, cleanliness and classic Zion views look no further.

Ally L.

Yelp
desert pearl was amazing. We got to stay here for our honeymoon and it was very relaxing, beautifu, Extremely clean and the staff was great! it was the perfect walking distance to Zion and the town of springdale. I hope to go back in the near future!

Yelp
Our stay is coming up but I just wanted to give a shout out to Brianna at the desk who helped us recently with out reservation. It's no surprise they have great customer service with the five star rating. Thank you for your help on the phone and we are looking forward to our stay even more!

Yelp
I am in love with this hotel! First time in Zion and will definitely come back. When we do, we are staying here for sure! Clean facility with laundry on site, very kid friendly with a pool and hot tub. We could not have picked a better place to stay on our trip to this beautiful national park!!
google avatar

Yelp
Ticks pretty much every box for me. Well-equipped and comfortable room, professional staff, excellent views and perfect location.

Steve G.

Yelp
Wonderful location, excellent service, clean rooms and a great pool and hot tub. Highly Recommended!

Yelp
Perfect place to stay while visiting Zion National Park. My family of four loved it! The Riverside rooms provide a beautiful view of the river and all the wildlife that visit it daily. We loved our location on the first floor, allowing our children to run around freely on the grass and play by the river. Before dawn, my husband and I enjoyed drinking our coffee on the patio while watching the deer stroll near the water. The accommodations could not be better! Other benefits.....location! The Inn is situated right before entering the National park and has a shuttle stop too! It has a restaurant next door open for dinner, but plenty of other options close by too. We rented an ebike from the store on site at the Desert Inn! So convenient and great customer service from the bike store too!!! Highly recommend the Desert Pearl Inn! We can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Betsy R.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! Spotlessly clean rooms, wonderfully helpful staff and a view of river and mountains you can't stop watching!
google avatar

Lauren N.

Yelp
This spot was amazing. Had a beautiful view from our back porch where the deer came by in the morning and the evening. The rooms had a small and wel stocked kitchenette including dishwasher, toaster oven, and microwave, and fridge. There was plates and cultery. Bed was so comfy and the bathroom was nice and spacious. Back deck had chairs where my husband and I sat reading our books. We would for sure stay here again when we come Back to Zion. 5 stars! Very covid conscious.
google avatar

Nor L.

Yelp
It would be five star if we didn't hear every footstep from the second floor. I don't know if they were walking around in hiking boots in the middle of the night but it was definitely noticeable. The second item that kept it from a five star was the loud aluminum headboard. I like to put my hand above my head when sleeping, and it kept making loud sounds. Very clean, comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Very close to Zion main entrance. Oh the bidet also caught us off guard. We're not used to a toilet bowl that is not a toilet bowl. Warning to those new to visiting Zion national Park: They will let you in the park after you pay but the scenic drive area will be full and even the main parking can be full too. Either get there early or lurk around in the parking lot for a while to get an open space but the scenic view parking area will be still closed.
google avatar

Mary K.

Yelp
This is where a great hotel loses because of staff and policies that don't consider their clients. My review should be a 5 star because the hotel is just lovely, right on the Virgin river and has a sparkling cool pool and the rooms are spacious and clean and decorated so nicely with scenic decks. But..... Upon arrival when it was 100 degrees out, i was told that they needed me to go "somewhere" for at least 20 min for housekeeping to sanitize my room. What? You had my deposit and my arrival time. The room still isn't clean? They told me the lobby bathroom was " broke" when I asked to use it. ( we'd driven for 4 hours to get there) and told me to use the pool bathroom and hang out by the pool. Right. 100 degrees and I'm in hiking clothes and I will sit by the pool because my room isn't ready. So we went out for snacks. Returned an hour later. I walked into the lobby which could easily accommodate 4 people at 6 feet each and I stood at the door. I was sternly told to leave because only one person was allowed. It is 100 degrees out. There is semi shade and no benches outside. I wait 5 minutes. Finally I get in. My husband comes in with me. He is ordered to leave. How welcoming! Finally get the room which is perfect. Great decor and spacious. Very clean and comfy. Next evening after hiking all day, notice no sign of housekeeping. No trash takeout, no new towels etc etc. Apparently they don't do that to protect their staff until you checkout. Well at least you could offer to have fresh towels put at the door, which they did do after I insisted. I mean this is a park where we are hiking and climbing and in water! I get it. People are worried and rules are constantly changing but.... you have to think a little about your guests and figure out that for over $250 a night you should have: a seating area with cool beverages or water outside the office when there is MORE THAN ONE PERSON in line for the front desk at a hotel outside a busy national park, be upfront with offering fresh towels every afternoon and offering you to place full trash cans somewhere outside the room to be emptied. These rooms have cooking and fridges so there will be trash and at warm temps, that should be taken care of daily. Pains me to say that a place that should be perfect is blowing it by forgetting about their guests when it counts: at first impression time.

Tammie K.

Yelp
Clean and comfortable hotel with kitchenette and balcony. Has a laundry facility. Close to Zion entrance. Shuttle stops right out front. Very walkable to restaurants / shops in Springdale. We would definitely stay here again.

Philip N.

Yelp
This IS the place to stay if your planning a trip to Zion. Everything about our stay was nothing short than perfect. From checkin, to our room, to service while we were there. This is by far the place to stay in Springdale and access Zion. We stayed in a Premium King Riverside and wow it was totally worth it. The sounds of the creek running by at night made it so relaxing even leaving the patio to go see the beautiful scenery up in the canyon. The on-site e-bike rentals form Utah e-bike adventures right next to the check in area was just icing on the cake. We decided to rent the bikes instead of dealing with the busy shuttles and to enjoy the ride through the canyon and wow.. that is how you do Zion and having them on site at the hotel is a major major plus. Please see my separate review of them. Thank you Hunter for making our day at Zion that much more amazing. If your looking for hotels for Springdale do not look any further than here. You will not find a more luxurious and peaceful hotel. I spent a lot of time researching before settling on the pearl and after visiting and seeing the other hotels I had looked at online I knew I had made the right decision. Look no further than desert pearl inn. Can't wait to return sometime next year for spring in Zion

Yelp
While on our family trip to Utah National Parks (Zion & Bryce Canyon) this 2020 summer, we stayed at this nice, comfortable and peaceful Inn in Springdale, UT just outside of Zion National Park. Our room opened up to a nice pool area and an awesome scenic backdrop of the colorful mountain range (See photos). The rooms were very clean, beds comfortable and it had all the amenities needed, i.e., coffee maker, a large in-room refrigerator, toaster oven, wifi, cable tv, etc... oh , and even a bidet in the bathroom, ha The Desert Pearl Inn butt's up against a small river/stream where you can casually throw a blanket down on the grass at the rivers edge or even flop a beach chair in the 1' - 2' deep river and stay cool while sipping your drink of choice, relaxing and cooling off (if the temperature outside is hot, as was on our trip... avg. 95-100 degrees daily. Our family was here during the Covid-19 environment, so, even with the guidelines and procedures in place, and with the rules of our rooms not allowed to be turned down daily (the staff was able to change our towels as needed), so other than that... it was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. We (our kids, 14 yr old twins, my wife and I) enjoyed the Pool, the Hot tub, And the peaceful scenic surroundings. I would recommend and refer this Inn to anyone interested in coming to Zion National Park. Oh, I forgot to mention, the Inn is nearby; as in walking distance, to all the local shops, markets, deli's, outfitter stores and it is also a short drive to the Zion Park visitor center entrance (we took the shuttle as that was part of our package. It only took 15 minutes from our Inn to the park drop off point for our adventure hike). - our room had a King Size bed & a pull-out couch (queen size) that was comfortable... per our boys, who can be picky and vocal if the bed was not to their liking

vivian n.

Yelp
I would come here again. Stay was very comfortable and loved that there was a microwave toaster oven and even a dish washer! Pool and hot tub were excellent. We had an accident in the middle of the night and staff was very quick to respond. The Mountain View as our temporary backyard was amazing. We took showers back to back and did not run out of hot water. There was minimal noise neighbors.

Yelp
Half a mile from the Zion Visitors' Center, beautiful setup, and reasonably priced compared to the rest of the hotels on the strip. Our room was backed up against the river and a stone's throw from the pool. I was pointed toward Utah Bike Adventures, co-located at the Desert Pearl--a business that gives a 20% discount to all guests and their prices crush the competition. The e-bikes were the best way to experience Zion as we rode into and out of Scenic Drive within a few hours. We stopped and took pictures at places that we would've never had an opportunity if we took the shuttle or drove. Amazing experience overall.

Yelp
This was my husbands and mine 3rd time staying there first time was 20 years ago and then 5 years ago. We absolutely love this place the rooms are very spacious and very nice. The beds are so comfy. Everyone that works here is always very accommodating and friendly. Our friend we brought loved it also. The pool and hot tub area is one of the best around for sure and is kept up beautifully. It is a Gem in one of the most beautiful parts of the country for sure.

Yelp
The Desert Pearl Inn is a super-comfy, luxurious hotel in the town of Springdale, UT - right at the footsteps of Zion National Park entrance. It seems the entire town of Springdale has just a single road. Zion Park Blvd with restaurants, shops, and hotels on both sides. The shuttle in town is free and runs every 10-15 minutes to and from the Zion Park Visitor Entrance (Stop 1). Desert Pearl Inn is located across the road from Stop 4, about a mile away. Check-in folks were friendly and helpful for first time visitors to the park. Their lobby has free water, coffee, and cookies. They also sell these gorgeous blocks of multi-colored rock crystals that are actually soap! The rooms are huge and are sized like a studio apartment with high ceilings, hardwood floor, kitchen, TV, couch, and a large bathroom with a segregated sink and closet area. Beds are super comfy and the shower is very powerful. The back patio of our second-floor room ipens up to their gorgeous pool and jacuzzi area, along with the gorgeous backdrop of the mountains. Probably minor downside is there doesn't seem to be any onsite dining options or breakfast. Closest dining options are easy walk from the hotel. Still, highly recommend this hotel for Zion and I'd say its better than staying directly in the park at Zion Lodge. Its better to have a super-comfy room with all the amenities and access to Springdale after a tough day of hiking! Wifi is free and fast here as well.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and get a room with a creek view. When I walked into my room my eyes immediately were drawn to the floor to ceiling windows overlooking Zion. When I opened the balcony door to step outside all I could hear was the creek below. On a scale of 1-10 on magical it was an 11. Typically I don't hangout in hotel rooms and I actually ended up calling the front desk and requesting a late checkout because I had such a hard time leaving this place. Here's why ~ Warm & gooey chocolate chip cookies at checkin (I actually came back for more when I tasted the first one I took) lol. Complimentary citrus water. 15 min walk from Zion. If you don't feel like walking they have a direct shuttle stop right in front. Pool & hot tub. Very soft bed. Amazing views of Zion. Balcony with comfortable chairs. Animal sightings. Parking. Laundry. Large tub & bidet. TV, wifi, kitchen & dining table. Onsite restaurant called MOKI (awesome food!). In-room massage. Star gazing at night. Fancy geo gem soaps. Everything you need is in walking distance! I can most likely keep going all day here but you get the picture. Best hotel experience near Zion!

Yelp
This is our 2nd time visiting and we love it here! The housekeeping is amazing, we always come back to a clean room. We wish the pool was open, during our stay but we enjoyed the hot tub as much as we could.

Yelp
While we opted for visiting in one of the busiest seasons in Zion (and perhaps the hottest--Summer) we could not be happier with our stay. Very well kept grounds, rooms, pool and hot tub, staff, etc. made our stay wonderful. The view really is this incredible. And it DOES NOT MATTER which building you're in--you will have an incredible view. Worth it whether for a short or long stay. Restaurant essentially on property was quick, very good, and local with great beers and margs at the ready.

Yelp
Thank you fellow yelpers for all the wonderful reviews on the Desert Pearl Inn, we booked this place at our stay in Zion these past few days and it was amazing. What a beautiful and convenient place to stay! We got an upstairs river side room and it was huuuuuuge. High ceilings, nice lanai area to sit outside and listen to the river, and the view?!? AWEEEESOME! There was also a great size fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and they even had my favorite appliance - the toaster oven! It was a really good one too, way better than the one I have at home from Costco! The bathroom was a nice size as well and there was a lot of shelving and closet area to put your belongings. There is a washer and dryer area outside in a separate building and the pool is just a min walk away from the river side rooms. The shuttle that goes around town has a stop right outside the hotel and comes pretty often. The front desk gives you a schedule on the shuttle times and stop areas and even gives you info on restaurants and their hours. The room was a bit pricey but i feel with the view, convenience, and size of the room, it was well worth it. If we come back to Zion, we will def stay here again.

Yelp
We love to stay at this beautiful place. So clean and love the beautiful surrounding. Have been frequenting since 2007. We alway look forward to the stay... We saw a lot of bike rental locations along the way but having the e-bikes rental on the Desert Petal property with the guest DISCOUNT was the icing on the cake!!! E-bIking Zion was the greatest experience ever!!! If you haven't tried it...you should!!! Shout out to Hunter with Utah E-bike Adventures. He is very friendly and knowledgeable about all Zion has to offer!!! Thank you Hunter
