Desert View Market and Deli

This shop can be found near the Desert View Watchtower and offers a variety of items inside, including gift shop items, souvenirs, clothing and food items as well as a deli shop. Heck, they even sell wine here. The marketplace is the thing you will find close to a standard grocery store or convenience store for miles around. The staff is helpful and friendly so there are no complaints here. The deli offers a variety of different food options and on this cold, snowy day, hot soup and coffee hit the spot. The food prices are not that bad, considering where you are, and the gift shop prices are what you would expect for this type of location. Overall, it was a well-maintained facility, clean and friendly staff.

The grilled chicken sandwich & pulled pork sandwich was terrible!!! The grilled chicken didn’t even look like grilled chicken. I actually had to look inside to make sure it was and that it was cooked through. Texture was terrible. The pulled pork was so greasy that the bottom bun was completely soggy from the grease. What little bit of barbecue sauce was on top was good but it was not mixed in. Two other people in our group got the pizza and that was decent.

Very nice shop that not only has souvenirs, but they also sell some of the necessities you might need while staying here- it's kind of like a mini supermarket. They also have some clothing options too at the back, and they have a deli. The store is well-organized, and they have accessible entrance. There's seating outside too if you want to enjoy your meal.

After a walk around the park. We had decided to eat before leaving for the afternoon. Wow. The food is amazing. We had the Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich and the Canyon Chicken Breast Sandwich. Definitely would recommend both. I absolutely love the pulled pork sandwich. Especially with the slaw. If you're in the neighborhood. Check them out.

Lovely suprise to find this gem of a place. Good range of food and supplies to buy in the Market. Deli has tasty food and drinks at a reasonable price. Staff were lovely

There are several shops near the Desert View Watchtower, and I think this little gem is overlooked. I did have lunch, but I picked up some water and souvenirs and the young man working on wed April 9th in the afternoon was SO nice. Just wanted to give him a shout out. He even helped us as we were using the self checkout.

What a find, wasn't expecting this by the watchtower. Hot and cold food, drinks, beer, all sorts of gifts and practical supplies for camper vans, hikers etc The deli is outstanding,very reasonable prices co sideline the location

Amazing views and an interesting historical site. Get in in the morning before the heat hits.
