do not stay here- google this hotel and you will see the reviews i wish i had seen. the admin and owners are liars and dishonest. I walked and i walked out and they would not refund me-- not the way to come to a new country and city...they do not care ! |Firstly, what i booked is not what they gave me, to get what it advertised they wanted more money ? ! next up the hotel is dated, old, yellow on the bathtubs, stains on the curtains, no pool, massive construction right next door that is outside all windows of the hotel not on street side... they dont care !!! that is what shocked me because everywhere i go, people are kind , understanding, communicative, i left, and they would not even split what i had paid with me !!!?? they are in such desperate finances they have to lie and cheat people, it was a disaster -- i will google the architect and wonder why no 0000 upgrades have been made to this property and their prices do not match what you can get in this city .. remember you are not in tokyo, nyc , paris.. sooo do not stay here.. you can stay anywhere at this price and be treated decently and with gratitude... i will fight this wiht my bank and i will bring on a lawyer because i do not deal with not trustworthy people, Expedia wanted to refund me ! but was not allowed to because the owner said no ? yet would not get on the phoen with me ? the manager who has 00 power talked with me.. unbelievable.. complete constuction of a tear down building gooin gon next door, right outside the windows, toxic.. this place is toxic and such bad business they have to lie and cheat to stay in business...

If you're into Ikea this will be for you. However, if you are in need of good internet service you will be out of luck unless you want to park yourself in the lobby near the front desk. The location is decent and hotel is functional, no frills. A lot of little quirks - front door didn't work for 3 days, many light bulbs out in elevator and hallways, the tub shower is not easy for those with joint issues or if short in stature, but the water pressure is great once you're in!

We very much enjoyed this small botique hotel in the Centro/Recolta area of Buenos Aires. It is clean, well-managed, comfortable and perfectly situated to see the city. The front desk/management were extremely helpful and accomodating to our needs. We thought the price was reasonable for the quality room and service provided. Very pleased and we would definately stay again when we visit BA.

Best hotel in Buenos Aires! And I tried many! Location is exceptional, great accommodations in the lobby if you need to work or take meetings, great breakfast and the team is super attentive. Special thanks to MIGUEL who last minute saved me with a problem I had with my luggage. I will be back. Thanks!

Hotel rooms very tired, very dated and very basic- feels more like a youth hostel type of room. Room had large window overlooking a park and view marred with construction site and row of bright orange bike parking stalls-not picturesque like in the photos. Only Sheer White Curtains and when Sun came up room flooded with morning light- very early morning risers kinda thing (no blackout curtains). Only 1 dim overhead light fixture in the room. Bathroom very updated with an antiqued jet tub and old wall hair dryer. Website photos misrepresent the hotel and talked to 2 guests staying in room next door and they said the same- not pleased & photos off. Morning breakfast was very basic contientail. Breakfast area seemed like a college dorm envirnonment with computer station to sit at with a couple tables available. The original room booked was considered courtyard view and truly depressing of buildings with trashy junk. Location is good and staff friendly (though Emily wanted to charge $100 night to upgrade to a park view to move from a ugly courtyard view room- finally moved to a small view room with $35 night upcharge. After we checked out moved to another hotel that was so superior better and at the same rate (NH Collection Crillon)- a real 4 star hotel. Would rate Design cE as 2 star. Disappointing!

Is a good for it value, the rooms where nice and clean although a bit dated when in come to the bathrooms bath and small details. But absolutely clean. Very good location with walking distances to a lot of places. I was on the first floor and while I really enjoyed the city views. It was a bit annoying that each time that someone go to the bathroom or shower the noice is huge.

This hotel did not fulfill my expectations at all. First of all it definitely isn’t a 4 star hotel. If luxury is what you are looking for, steer away from this hotel. The rooms are tiny, and in need of major Renos, the floors are totally stained and scratched, the mattress stained, the curtains stained, the bathroom looked old and tired. It definitely isn’t in par with a 4 star hotel, maybe a 2 star at the most. Don’t be fooled by the fotos on Google, they are taken of the most expensive room, not the normal ones you are given. The view is misleading too, as most rooms will have the view of a wall on the backside of the building. The most annoying part is that you can hear everything from all the nearby rooms, people coughing, flushing the toilet, walking in their rooms etc. Conclusion is that we are really disappointed with the hotel, with the same price you can get tons of other better options. I would definitely not return and don’t recommend anyone here.

I stayed in the suite. Great bed/room and amazing staff. Arrived very late and Grace and Miguel extremely helpful. Very nice breakfast with pastries and breads, ham, cheese, etc. Suite is a very big room. In the heart of Recoleta close to everything. Miguel even pointed me to a restaurant which has delicious empanada. Will stay next time I am in BA.
