Unacceptable and unprofessional. I ordered the reupholstery of a very simple seat pad on 18 December. Initial delivery date: 26 January, already excessive. I was then asked to bring the seat pad on 19 January, which I did. Since then: excuses. The fabric was “lost”, then “not found”, then changing explanations. I am now told the seat pad will only be ready around 6 February. Nearly two months for a basic seat pad (1.20–1.40m). Absurd. What’s worse is the attitude. After missing their own deadline, no gesture, no discount, no accountability. The only thing proposed was: “Should we reimburse you and bring you back the original pad?” That is not customer service, it’s a badly ran shop. This level of disorganisation and lack of care is shocking for a brand like Designer Guild. Completely unreliable. I would not trust them again.

I was helped by Sophia this morning at the Kings Road branch. I had been trying to track down a sample pot of Cobalt 50 to use as a finish on a picture frame my company is producing and she went above and beyond by searching in store for a pot which was currently showing out of stock on their system. Low and behold she found one for me and has posted it free of charge to me here in Cambridgeshire, saving me a 5 hour return journey to collect! I often use Designers Guild paints for frame finishes as no other brand can match the 'pop' you get with their colours! It has really made my day and potentially 'saved a sale' for my business due to her help and perseverance in hunting down the sample pot for me!

A gorgeous selection of linens and furniture fabrics as well as accessories, books, baskets, wallpaper and so much more. Anything you may need to decorate your home - predominantly in colourful and feminine hues. There was also a beautiful terrace garden with an array of pots and modern outdoor furniture complimented by the flowering wisteria vine draped above it all. A fairly pretty place to either be inspired or get alot done.

It was really great buying experience few weeks ago from designers guild. Especially to the beautiful girl named vrutika. She gave her best customer service and my wife got impressed by her detailed explanation about each product..very friendly and kind behaviour. Thanks designers guild and team .

A very pleasant space with a good selection of home accessories. The furnishings and furniture are impressive but can feel overwhelming because of the ostentatious display of colour and design. Service was refreshingly informal and unfussy for this part of town.

Great selection and helpful staff. Highly recommend visiting during the week. I went mid day and was able to leisurely flip through the entire fabric assortment without any pressure and with an attentive staff. They offer quick home delivery and made the whole experience enjoyable as shopping for home decor should be.

I have been a fan of Designers Guild for years. They did a collaboration with Williams Sonoma years ago. Their prints are always so amazing.

Unbelievably romantic, incredibly ornate, wildly over-the-top, yet remarkably tasteful...this is where I imagine Marie Antoinette would have shopped if she'd had the chance. Designers Guild is an eye-popping bevy of furniture, linens, wallpaper, and drapery. It's really worth a visit just to see how marvelously creative people can be when given carte blanche to so. Everything on offer here is so, so, *so* finely-detailed and well-made and beautiful - it's design execution at its pinnacle. They carry the likes of Ralph Lauren Home and Jasper Conran - some designs of which are exclusive to the store. And they just recently launched their own line of fabrics and wallpapers under the name of "The Royal Collection." This line has supposedly been inspired by interiors found in the residences of the Royals - my goodness, it makes me want to see them!!!

I came here a couple of years ago when I was working on a TV home makeover show. On entering I was overwhelmed and excited by the vast array of colourful fabrics. We bough various types of patterned fabric but as it's pretty pricey I have never bought any fabric for myself here or anything else for that matter. They also have a great selection of wallpaper, home accessories, bed and bath accessories and beautiful furniture. I would love to be able to afford to shop here.

It is like a rainbow exploded and splashed every inch of white walls in the building. When I first came to London that was one of the first shops I visited. I have kept on going and going for the past five years. I have never bought anything. Tricia Guild, Founder of Designers Guild, has transcended interior fabrics in terms of colours and pattern. Fuchsia, turquoise, mint green and sky blue are just some of the hues you can experience. I am not a huge fan of flowers as pattern but there is something about their designs that without them they wouldn't work. They have somewhere in the region of 22 fabric collections were my favourite is the Ariana Collection. Mostly stripes and mostly exquisite. I have to admit I am quite clueless about prices, but I do know they have a specialized service were you can explain your needs and given you have the money, they'll create the entire interior of a room, or your house with their fabrics. Furthermore, they distribute other brands such as Ralph Lauren, Jasper Conran and William Yeoward. Honestly, if you are interested in colour, pattern, textures and interiors it is the place to visit, but if you just happened to encounter this shop go inside just to be inspired!

This is the place to go for cushions, rugs and other decorative items to be placed against a blank canvas. Everything is bright and uplifting and, in the sale, very reasonably priced.

Their products are fantastically designed, but their operations are TERRIBLE!!! We have been waiting 8 weeks and they still cannot tell me when we are going to see our sofas. When I speak to them they are also very off hand. My wife and I bought 2 sofas, one desk and two rugs from them. Since then we have had to go back three times to as they either gave us the wrong rug or else gave us a dirty one. One of the two sofas was a total failure as they were quoting a delivery date up to the end of May - five months later - owing to some problem producing the fabric. When we phoned them to get an update and discovered this, we asked why it was they had not told us this and they seemed to think this was absolutely normal. All in all love their stuff, but I am still waiting for either sofa to be delivered. When I spend £'000s at a shop I really do expect a lot better service and someone at least pretending to care.

We went here with my girl Tanya and she went crazy about almost all the accessories here. Indeed, all fabrics, wallpapers and other things are great, but they are expensive also. We will think about it and there is a chance to buy soething from here.

I came here and I was amazed what I seen loads of different colours and a lot of great products? prices vary but there is literally something for everyone here! really fair prices. And a lot of stock to choose from? I also go to place called Kassa Furniture this is a global Furniture Store great products excellent prices check either one of these out both have fantastic stock :)

The shop is amazing, but I would like to worn you before you purchase any item, because they are not returnable, and the staff don't inform you about their policy! I bought few cushions, Ivonne , the shop manager DIDN'T INFORM about their no returns policy. Mean while I found cushions in different shop and ask for money return, it was refused, I'm left with vouchers and I cannot use it in another store. SHOCKINGLY POOR SERVICE!!
