Designhotel Wienecke XI.

It's a nice and peaceful place to stay. Pros: Rooms are well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. Public transportation is available in walkable distance, and hotel is placed in a very good spot. Ample parking space available. Breakfast provided is decent. Nearby the hotel, some good restaurants are there. Cons: There is no restaurant attached to the hotel. Drinking water is not available, we have to buy from outside. They don't provide shampoos, please carry with you. Sometimes in the evening there is heavy noise. One thing I don't like very much is, there's a lot of dust inside the room. and also in the lifts.

We are on a trip with a group of exchange students from Canada and our stay at Hotel Wienecke was excellent.

The rooms are a bit too colourful to my taste and I cannot sleep on the feather pillows unfortunately as it barely supports my neck. However all amenities exist in the room, like a large TV, a mini fridge, safe, a very long coat rack, a desk with plenty outlets. The bathroom is also equipped with a good amount of space to put your toiletries. I had everything I needed from the room. Service was good and the closeness to Messe (we used the north entry) is also a plus.

This hotel is very conveniently located, with easy access to the train station by subway (direct line). The hotel is a congress center, so it would probably not be my first choice for a family vacation. For business trips, however, I can only recommend it. My room had a view on a field (which was quite amazing, I even saw a stork!), and was the most quiet I ever had in a hotel for a very long time. This was absolutely perfect as I had to get some work done. Breakfast was the classical buffet (bread, ham, sausages, eggs, cheese, fruits). The hotel has a lot of space for meetings and small group discussions. From the hotel start several small paths going to the fields, which are perfect for running or simply walking.

Very comfortable stay. Breakfast buffet is top class. Lots of eateries nearby and great access to public transport. The ribs in the beer garden are world class. I look forward to staying here again.

I like the hotel. My room was clean and nice. There is no shampoo in the bathrooms, so make sure, you bring yours. I live in US. I forgot my adapter/converter for EU standards, but the hotel had one and they borrowed me with no cost. While some receptionists were friendly and nice, the others were super rude. They have open buffet breakfast to die for, you must try!

Stayed here for one night travelling through on business. ||The rooms are small, but well decorated, ample storage space and very clean. ||Very large tv, fridge, safe and lots of electrical sockets in my room.||My room had 9 two pin sockets and 4 usb charge points!!!||The bed was very comfortable.||Breakfast was a selection of hot and cold foods good selection and tasty.||We had dinner in the restaurant, food was excellent and staff very pleasant.||Would defiantly stay here again.

The room is decorated quite colourfully... But it's fairly small overall...Shower, toiler and sink only. No bath/shower combo.||The bottle of water in the room... comes with a pricey tag of €7... I left it for the next guest(s)...||Free WiFi was adequate though not secure.||||Breakfast... ||There is no table service... Good if you know that in advance... so you don't waste your time waiting...||Buffet style...streaky bacon, (very salty) Nuernberger mini bratwursts, scrambled egg/boiled egg.||The croissants, crusty rolls(seeded and plain) were not that fresh- I thought. ||Plenty of other choice: cereals, (fruity) yoghurts/quark, cold meats, cheeses and even fish.||Coffees and juices are available from the "machines"...you have to go and get them yourselves.
