Despaña Brand Foods

We've ordered from Despana a number of times, and we've always been pleased with the quality of the product we've received and their service. This year, our family was doing a traditional "Feast of the Seven Fishes" Christmas Eve dinner, and a number of us were most excited for the star of the show, the anchovies we had ordered from Despana. The package arrived a couple days early, and when we unpacked it, we were devastated to see they had packed the wrong tin of anchovies, and we got 48g instead of 198g. We thought there was no way we'd get the right tin in time for our dinner, but I called the next morning anyway. They asked for a picture of the wrong product (reasonable request), and with no additional hassle for us, Despana made it right and overnighted the missing items. We received them the next day, right on time for dinner. Mistakes happen. But how you recover from those mistakes is what turns good customer service into great.

They have the best food products from Spain and I had a lot of fun looking at the variety of cheese and ham thinking which should I buy to eat and accompany with wine.

They are on 60th street at the corner of 31 Ave coming off northern blvd its a very tight swing you will need the opposing lane because cars parked on corner they will back you out when unloaded nice people they when leaving go right to 69th ignore the no truck thru sign go right a couple if blocks 278 on right don't miss 69th

They put a lot of care into shipping--adding ample packing protection, individually wrapping fragile items, and using ice packs for perishable items like meats and cheeses--to ensure everything arrives fresh and in one piece. And the quality of their products is outstanding. The food is some of the best I've had.
