Destilería Cruz- PitoRico

Showing up as "Destilería Cruz - PitoRico" on Google Maps, "La Destilería Craft Spirits" was not opened when we arrived to our scheduled 2:00p.m. tour. We waited over 40 minutes to see if someone would show up, but they did not. We were not contacted to reschedule or to process a refund. We tried their listed numbers several times but they would either go straight to voicemail or the line was disconnected. What appears to be the front entrance was locked and even though we tried knocking and ringing the bell, there was no answer. We also tried the back entrance, but again, no answer. This business is located in the mountain area, where the roads are narrow and have many turns. Do not waste your time on the beautiful, but somewhat dangerous drive just to go here. It is just not worth it. I will be asking for a refund. At $35 dollars per person, it's just a bit expensive to have a no show. We do not support nor recommend this business.

The road to the distillery is quite long with many narrow tight turns bot meant for the faint of heart. The views are great on the way and the tasting was such a wonderful experience. The tour was pretty educational for being a smaller square footage and I enjoy the conscious nature of the owner to conserve and give back.

We where exited to find a place like this in the middle of the island!!!! Beautiful equipment, visitors get a tour and a generous tasting experience!!!! We got Bohique ,super aromatic!!! , Artesanal , smooth, almost romantic and clearly; pitorro de tamarindo 😍

A very interesting place. The service is excellent, the attention was very good. The peculiar thing is that you can actually see the distillation machines and you can taste rums.

Took the tour and tasting. Recommend booking online and or calling since the location is somewhat remote. Owner is very knowledgeable and passionate about the whole process. The barrel aging on the spice rum and 106 produces wonderful flavors. Looking forward to future expressions that they produce.

Tried to set up a tour for February 27th, at 2 pm while the wife and I were visiting Puerto Rico. They blew us off. We showed up, there were no signs of any kind, we tried all entry doors and they were locked. Was really looking forward to visiting this distillery. Don't waste your time paying for this.

Moisés and Cesar will show the Cute distillery. The rum Is very good. Bohique or Artesano rums is a must plus try the fruity ones!
