I too was pleasantly surprised much nicer welcoming version of cityplace of (West Palm) Tastefully decorated for the holidays. Area for the children to climb and play. A nice grassy area, cornhole for whomever would like to partake plenty of seating very welcoming calming I'm still surprised at how nice it was. We will definitely be back. Plenty of stores journeys Claire's AMC kilwins very clean atmosphere.

Google
Coming here for the first time, I was so pleasantly surprised. I love the vibe and the look. It's pretty and colourful and all the shops are spot on!! I could spend days here. Its very clean and the layout is great. The bathrooms are also clean. There are benches and trash cans and it's a very functional and great commons.

Google
Beautiful shopping center. Nice selection of of stores and places to eat. We went to the movie theater and it was nice too.

Jaclyn K.

Google
Great place to shop around! Wish there were more local shops and art stores but they have a wide variety of shops to fit everyone’s needs! There is a great splash pad too as well a large area for kids to run around. My favorite is the umbrella alley!

David B.

Google
Great place for locals and visitors alike. Tons of retail stores, plenty of shaded areas to keep cool, great food options. Definitely conveniently located from 98 and midday. If you really wanted to i suppose you could boat into the marina behind it.

Ben H.

Google
We went around lunch on a Sunday afternoon and there weren't many people until around 2p, and then was pretty busy. But had many shops to choose from. A couple higher end stores but basically like many "outlet store malls". Was nicer facilities than most. We've been before and will go again.

Google
At first I was skeptical because it looked just like any other outdoor mall. However, the experience was fantastic. They have a nice sitting area and a splash pad for the kids to play in. Nicely done! The Bass pro shop is huge and was very well decorated for memorial Day. All the shops we went in were pet friendly. We did not stay there to eat but the restaurants looked good. It was a great day shopping and of course we spent a lot of money!

Google
Such a cute cool mall. Great kids area- our little guy loved the climbing structure. Great photo ops throughout, wonderful stores.

Yelp
We had a great day walking around the destin commons. They have a variety of stores ranging from big chain stores to unique boutique stores. They also have many restaurants and a huge bass pro shops! It has different kid activities like lawn games , splash pad, the train (with the cutest old man driver). Its a great activity if you're looking for something to do in Destin.
google avatar

Yelp
Loved the açaí bowl and juice place! Lots of shops. Definitely options for food... People are on island time though. We had to keep reminding ourselves with each horrible service.

Yelp
Destin Commons is a great place to spend the day. They have free parking, a Bass Pro, a movie theater, and an array of various small stores like Victoria Secret, H & M, Forever 21 and Books a Million. They have small restaurants like Chipotle, Smashburger, and a City Food Hall that has other places to eat. In the same shopping area, there also is a Lowes and Whole Foods. Across the street, there are other great places to shop like Micheals, Office Depot, and Ross. This is a great place to bring your dog and socialize them while getting a good walk.
google avatar

Nick M.

Yelp
This shopping center has many different stores, like clothing and food, and they even have a little water park area for the kids. They also have lawn games and many places to sit and relax. I also saw that they have a cute train ride for kids that drives them around the commons! There are free parking spots to park in but there are also metered spots along the inside streets that go between the stores .
google avatar

Ed L.

Yelp
Great kid friendly place. Splash pad. Climbing equipment. Sunny and friendly. Plenty of shaded seats for adults.
google avatar

Kandis B.

Yelp
Cute area for shopping.. decent array of options. Excellent outdoor play/relax or people watch are. Seems like a great spot for kids. Mainstream shopping options, nothing you haven't seen before minus the fun outdoor art. A decent selection of stores and friendly staff. The AMC movie theatre is inside this outdoor shopping mall. Great for a rainy beach day, little retail therapy, food options, and a movie to complete the day n a clean and beautiful environment.

Yelp
This place is a must go to on a warm Florida fall/winter day. I went here just to walk around and take in the Christmas cheer and holiday environment. They have music playing, they are super clean, they have a playground for the kids and a few super picture taking spots for the family that are just wonderful. You pick up the smells a the eateries or the dispensary depends on the crowd, but just a wonderful place to just soak in Florida rays and walk around.
google avatar

Cat T.

Yelp
Cute little shopping center! Very aesthetic layout, great outlet. Honestly feel like this one's more for relaxed shopping. There's plenty of restaurants and food around here, in case you get hungry. Not too many retail stores but enough for a day out, if you're looking for something to do. If you're looking for a more in-depth shopping experience, I would recommend trying Silversands outlet, not far from here.
google avatar

Evelyn E.

Yelp
Very nice shopping area, super clean, organized, and it has some cute photo ops. They have pretty nice store selections as well.

Mary T.

Yelp
Nice and clean, lots of places to go shopping and eat. Some of the stores are smaller but it is a nice little strip mall.
google avatar

Jeremy J.

Yelp
We had a wonderful time at the Destin Commons when we were in Destin Florida. Made a lot of great memories saw a lot of cool public art walked around a lot of cool shops that they had just had an overall great experience. Definitely go check it out it's worth the drive and it's worth the time to do it

S V.

Yelp
Such a cute outdoor shopping area. We were visiting on spring break. Lots of common stores and mix of boutique stores. Really liked the vibe and wall art
google avatar

Stacy T.

Yelp
Oro, in the Food Hall, has fantastic Italian food. The owners are charming and provide exceptional customer service. The food is flavorful and made from authentic Italian ingredients. Prices are reasonable for the high quality food.
google avatar

Yelp
Exploring this upscale shopping area was appealing as we had heard about the Mural Walk. This is definitely a must visit! The center of the area also has a small playground for kids! We loved all the murals but were sad to learn that the Angel wings are no longer available to see as some other mural has been painted over this. Destination donuts has Dole Whip ice cream! I missed this at Disney so this was a must try! Delicious! Friendly staff and the security guard even gave us a map and helped us find the right locations!
google avatar

Janice W.

Yelp
Many stores. You can find a map with all the stores organized under categories. There's a play place in front of the AMC theater for children. Just a good outdoor mall! There's also another shopping complex beside the mall including Publix and restaurants so you can really spend the whole day in the area.
google avatar

Mari R.

Yelp
This shopping area was awesome! I loved all the stores here. I even bought a pretty bathing suit from Maui's. I was looking everywhere for a nice suit. Can't wait to come back and do some damage shopping
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
Lots of awesome shops and restaurants in here. I love the outdoor malls like this. They have a Bass Pro too! We came to get Starbucks in hopes that it wasn't packed and we had great success! It's off the busy route, so most tourists won't think to go here.
google avatar

Annesia D.

Yelp
Excellent shopping! Plenty of stores, and I have to admit the bathrooms were cleaner than some folks houses I been to! Prices were as expected and surprisingly not high! We got a great deal of shopping done!
google avatar

Ophelia B.

Yelp
I always enjoyed coming to Destin Commons for the movies and window shopping. My favorite stops here are Earthbound, Francesca, Belk, Starbucks, and the movies. The bathrooms are always super clean. I love how Whole Foods is right beside it.
google avatar

Kristen L.

Yelp
Very nice shopping center! They are dog friendly and have a splash pad/play area for kids. A good place to go on a rainy day in Destin.

Cynthia R.

Yelp
It has a lot sutff thereit nice there to and it has playground to play there to...............
google avatar

Shelby Z.

Yelp
Destin used to be our family vacation spot every year, and I always made sure to hit up Destin Commons at least once. It has grown sooo much over the years, especially since I have last visited back in October. Most of the stores are chains, but they have something for everyone and is a great area to relax and shop in. Aside from stores, they also have an array of restaurants, a movie theater, and a bowling alley. If you're looking for local stores/boutiques, I wouldn't really recommend here, but you can still have a great time in this gorgeous shopping center.
google avatar

Chantel W.

Yelp
Ok shopping. I was hoping for more places to eat. I thought it was like an outlet mall Not really. No play area. They stated there was one. Overall ok shopping. Nothing incredible
google avatar

Morgan C.

Yelp
I've been shopping at the Destin Commons since it was built, and Silver Sands before that! Some stores have come (like Southern Living) and gone (like Luxe Apothetique, Zoo Gallery, and Shark Tank), but it remains one of the best destinations in the panhandle, second probably only Grand Boulevard in terms of experiential shopping. On my most recent trip I noticed that Johnny Rocket's was also gone, which is sad, but I'm confident they'll continue to attract new and better tenants all the time. The Commons has a great mix of retailers including clothing, gifts, active wear, shoes, and jewelry, with Belk, Bass Pro Shop, and Books-a-Million as anchor stores.
google avatar

Lindsay B.

Yelp
The Commons is one of the things that made me feel better about living in such a small town. Besides the beach, Destin is just a small town that more than likely wouldn't have any of the big name shops and restaurants that they do have. Destin has really done a great job accommodating its full-time residents and the tourists that spend money here. The Commons is one of those ways. This isn't an indoor shopping center - its outdoors and incorporates restaurants, shopping, a movie theater, and even a play area for kids. The have really nice stores, too. Not just weird, off-brand stuff that people really don't care about. Lush, Sephora, Williams-Sonoma, Southern Living, Forever21, Belk, B&B, Books A Million, are just a few. There is a Starbucks, a Johnny Rockets, a Mexican food place, Chipotle, a juice bar, and many more. I shop here often, but I also like to bring our dog to walk around. It's particularly nice right now - November - but even on the hottest days one side of the street is always shaded so he doesn't overheat. They also have two dog water fountains. Many of the stores are also for-friendly. We just left there after going specifically to look at one of those free little libraries. It's on of those mini-libraries on a stand that you can "borrow" a book from. It's right outside of the movie theater. This is definitely a good source of shopping in the area. Better than the outlet mall, in my opinion!

Yelp
Not safe to go to during the pandemic. Out of everyone present I could only find 6 people wearing masks that weren't employees. Its not the stores fault that no one wants to have common decency to protect other people. It would be nice if the stores would enforce wearing masks. I came here to try to safely purchase a few things and left after I saw it would not be safe to do so.
google avatar

Puff B.

Yelp
Masks are optional in a majority of stores so if you or a loved one are high risk, beware.
google avatar

Haley P.

Yelp
Super annoying shopping experience. Only letting like 3 people in at a time. We left because we didn't want to spend our entire vacation standing outside in the heat trying to get in a store. We had better things to do.
google avatar

Valerie N.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this mall. Every storefront is occupied and with great brands. The day we visited I was looking for shorts and t-shirts, and I found them. That almost never happens. I really do wish more of the stores carried swimsuits this time of the year (November). It is in the 80s right now and not a swimsuit in sight. Parent companies should take notice of the weather where their stores are located.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
As Cordova Mall goes downhill in Pensacola, Destin Commons has became my new shopping spot in the Panhandle. Destin Commons is an outdoor strip mall that offers everything from shopping to dining to movies. Some of my favorite stores in the strip include Loft, Victoria's Secret, White House Black Market, Express, Aldo and Express. I usually grab a bite to eat at Panera Bread since they have free wi-fi so I can catch up on my emails. The strip mall never feels crowded since everything is outdoors and the area is open to pedestrians to stroll through leisurely. While this strip mall is smaller than most indoor malls the shopping selection is excellent.
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
The Destin Commons is a very lovely little outdoor strip mall with a little bit of something for everyone; from Build A Bear for the kiddies to Ann Taylor Loft for the ladies to Bass Pro Shop for the fellas to a movie theater for the entire family. The Commons is located less than a mile from the beach and each morning while we were staying at the beach I would head to the commons for my Starbucks fix and get some tackle from the Bass Pro Shops. I was a little disappointed that the shops in the commons didn't open a little earlier on Sundays as we went there about 10:30am and the stores do not open until 11am or noon; I would have really liked to check a few of them out. I was impressed by the number of restaurants (Hard Rock, Poppy's, food stands) and the play ground with the walk in water fountain. This is an ideal place to shop and waste some time while you are enjoying Destin.
google avatar

Teri M.

Yelp
Good break from the beach. Playground for kids was a hit. Group enjoyed burgers at Smash Burger and we got some alligator beef jerky at the Beef Jerky shop. We'll checkout a movie and get a monster shake here the next rainy afternoon.
google avatar

Pete F.

Yelp
So much stuff. And a very welcoming outdoor mall. Evenings are well lit. Stores serve all tastes and budgets

Bianca T.

Yelp
Only recommend if you like outlet malls and H&M or eating at bass pro shops. Other than that it's not worth it
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
This has been a legendary place for me and it's fitting that it is located on legendary Drive. It is even more fitting that now we own a business here. We purchased SMASHBURGER about a year ago. This was my shopping Mecca when I would visit my parents in Destin and dreamed of moving here Sunday. What a great spot for walking with your family, seeing your kids enjoy the playground and water feature during the nicer weather. Having a great cup of coffee from multiple choices. Going to find a new book. Catching a movie. Getting a great meal at any of the venues. Covered parking to keep your car cool in the summer. The Destin Commins executive team is passionate about delivering the best experience for shopping and dining and entertainment anywhere on the gulf coast. This is the place to be. For those of you coming down soon, go find our check in offer at Smashburger to get a free side.
google avatar

Karoline K.

Yelp
Why would you build an outdoor mall I the hottest place on earth...but I digress. This place isn't bad. They have tons of stores. I recently went during Christmas and they decorated it nicely. I wouldn't stop by in the summer. It's unbearable to walk outside in the heat to check this mall out.
google avatar

Kristy S.

Yelp
Beautiful center, plenty of space and parking, multiple restaurants and shops to stroll around. It is outside strolling so if it rains it would really suck bc everything is spread out. My second time here and it really expanded. The H&M is very big and nice, not a hot mess like most of them are. Just double check your receipt bc they might've accidentally charge you wrong but they'll easily correct their boo boo!

Yelp
I visited Destin Conmons's All Dressed Up Boutique back in January the service was phenomenal but today there were two older ladies behind the counter thumbing their nose at me and my guests. They did not come from behind the counter and offer us any type of assistance and they looked at us like we were complete dirt. one of them even chastised my niece for touching a piece of jewelry that was hanging on a display. I will never be back in the store again the service was horrible. I brought my daughter all the way from Pensacola just to visit this store and it's an absolute shame that we were treated the way that we were. I absolutely do not recommend anyone spend any of their money in the store because it seems like they discriminate. @alldressedupboutiquedestin

Yelp
We LOVE coming here for Christmas! The huge beautiful tree in the middle is a great photo opp, and the lights are magical. Fun just to walk around and look at the Christmas decorations. It's great during COVID that it's outdoors! There is usually a cute little train that takes kids on rides. Not sure if they're still doing that this year, but overall this place is great.

Just L.

Yelp
This place is a sad shell of what it used to be. The grounds are filthy. Discarded masks paper bags receipts just floating around on the ground. A lot of the stores are empty or leaving. It's just not what it was five years ago.
google avatar

Rebecca F.

Yelp
This place is freaking awesome. I've been keeping a steady eye on the Destin shopping scene for going on 21 years now (what? I was a fashion guru even at the age of 6!) and this place is one of my favorites thus far. So many varieties of food- sushi, sandwiches, starbucks and lots of others. BUT everyone who is anyone knows you have to eat at Dave's Dogs. Then you can have sushi or whatever if you want. The movie theater here is fantastic. Clean, large and accommodating even in the busiest seasons. There's a great playground for kids made of some kind of magic rubber stuff. Kid proof, I suppose. Looks pretty fun. I love this place.
google avatar

Teisha V.

Yelp
The commons is a great little place no matter what time of year. It has plenty of shopping/food areas and the plastic park for the kids. In summer it has the splash pad and lots of little ones around. During each season they decorate the round about area and you can take cute pictures of the family. It's like a nice one stop shop.
google avatar

Lo S.

Yelp
This is where I go to escape the reality of the poor shopping conditions where I live. It's only an hour away. The Commons are an outdoor shopping plaza and simply "divine". Vikki Secrets, Aaaaaaaaaaallllldooooooo shoes!!!!!! Dillards with a MAC Counter, Banana Republic, you name it its there! The outlet stores are not too far away. Destin has the type of shopping in this general area that will keep you there all day. One complaint: THE BEBE STORE HERE IS SMALLER THAN MY CLOSET! SERIOUSLY...I gag when I have to go in here because there are bigger and better stores and I've been to them. I guess everyone shops here because they never have my size and it makes me want to picket the store. Otherwise...The Commons are the truth! And P.F. Changs is down the street.
google avatar

Shercole K.

Yelp
So I had a chance to go back to Destin Commons, before I leave. Its just so cute. I love the set up. I also love the mix of national stores with local boutiques. Its great to do some shopping in my favorite stores, but as well as support the local Destin Businesses. There are a few eateries to help your tummy while you get in a little shopping. While here there was a little festival going on in the main corridor. Due to the great set up, different businesses were able to set up in the middle of the shopping area to let everyone float through and enjoy all the great things as well as be able to enter shops as well.
google avatar

Alana R.

Yelp
LOVE LOVE LOVE! A mix of everyday shops and some expensive shops and boutiques as well!
google avatar

Paul D.

Yelp
Great shopping with restaurants, a bowling alley and a movie theater.
google avatar

Danette M.

Yelp
I really love this place! I'm new to the area and am in awe of the collection of great stores here. The only thing I don't like is that they allow vehicles to drive through the area. Nothing more annoying than trying to relax and enjoy your shopping experience and then some asshole honks his horn right next to the stores scaring the shit out of you and possibly having you spill your beverage (I may or may not suffer from PTSD, your experience may differ) The have a fountain area in the center in front of the AMC where kiddies can run through the water and splash while the parents look on. Theres a train and drives around toting kids and bored parents. They have a few places to stop and eat while you shop (Panera! Coldstone!) and theres a Sephora, a tiny tiny Sephora but a Sephora none the less. Theyre apparently doing an addition, so parking while is plenty is a little confusing due to the construction.
google avatar

Jenna L.

Yelp
I love the Commons because it has stores like Michael Stars and Frock Candy that we don't have in Dallas and sell the cutest clothes! I found pretty, unique dresses for under $50. The movie theater there is fun to do while shopping too.
google avatar

Lola D.

Yelp
Great outlets! Clean and decently priced. Lots of food options that are both on the higher end and on the lower priced end. The stores are great too! We love the different options and this putlet mall has options for kids unlike some of the others in the area.
