Destination PSP

I bought a set of psp glasses MCM design online and after hand washing and using them four time the design I’d coming off. Very disappointed. The first set I bought last year is still fine. I don’t know if they are defective or what changed. But the quality is different. For sixty bucks for four glasses I expect better quality.

Fun store. We picked up some memorabilia from the Palm Springs Film Festival. The staff was very attentive.

Great place to shop for unique dinnerware and high quality t-shirts. You can even try actual t-shirts in the fitting rooms for best fit before buying your own packed in a beautiful box. The staff is helpful and super friendly!

Favorite place for my holiday and Bday gifts.The light weight T-Shirts are perfect for that desert climate and they're fantastic looking.

I really like this place especially when I’m shopping for a friend or relative that doesn’t live in the area. I wanted to purchase one of their puzzles. But unfortunately they’ve been out of stock. Because there’s so many other nice things to order I didn’t find a problem with it. Plus I still have time to order because I am shopping very early this year for Christmas. I love their towels. And I think they would make great gifts.

This store is really cool. We enjoy walking through and looking at a all the mid century styled goods. We bought a nice coffee cup one time for a friend back home in FL who was nice enough to let us stay in his guest room for a week. Products are a bit pricey, but unique, so get it if you want it! They may not get more!

On a family trip a couple years ago to Palm Springs, discovered Destination PSP with a lot of Midcentury Modernesque design stuff. Debated what to get, contemplating a cool looking plastic bowl or this tall ceramic mug with an equally cool design. So glad I opted for the great mug, which I often use, because I've now removed as much plastic as possible from use with food and beverages in my house! Recommend checking out Destination PSP, especially if you're looking to bring back a bright Midcentury-type design piece for your home!

A fun store in downtown PS, but I would urge anyone ordering from their online store NOT to. A VERY disappointing experience...items not shipped when they said they were...sends you to a tracking APP you have to download (and who needs another app?) which is then tricky to navigate and yielded no actual tracking...when I finally inquired about my merchandise via e-mail on the day it was due to arrive at my home, I get a Store Manager's e-mail that one item was sold out (which still shows as AVAILABLE on their site) and that the other item would be sent THAT DAY. So my order hadn't been sent at all and, possibly because of their inattentiveness, I missed out on the other item. Both were Holiday gifts, so it left me scrambling. No clue when I WILL get the one remaining item. Avoid their website and their e-mails with online store discounts until their get their act together.

The best gift shop in Palm Springs! I've got a collection of their tissue box covers which are just the most unique items! I'm not even using them for tissues as they make great display pieces, too. Today, the manager and another associate helped me very generously with an online order placed a couple weeks ago. They are very customer focused as other shops wouldn't have helped me the way they did. I truly appreciated it. I hope they develop more tissue box covers of different Palm Springs structures at some point - perhaps City Hall or the Frey House?

Stopped by here as I was leaving the Thursday night market and immediately saw the cool assortment of PS t-shirt merch. What I liked is they have sample sizes in the dressing room to try on and once you try it on you place it in a container in that changing room where I presume they get washed before the next person tries it on for sizing. Great service and highly recommend for souvenirs!

Great and interesting merchandising and products. The men's swim and pool wear is a total find if you don't mind coloring outside the lines! Can't find these retro pool outfits short of the Riviera.

Fabulous store but FALSE ADVERTISING. The sign said 25% off all swimwear. I went to buy a swim cap and I was told that a swim cap is not swimwear for which it most certainly is.

My wife and I really enjoy browsing Destination PSP for Modernism merchandise at its finest. Located in the heart of downtown Palm Springs (across the street from Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar), this little boutique store has t-shirts, swimwear, towels, tote bags, glasses/mugs, posters, and plenty of knick-knacks for the home. We've purchased a couple of the repo posters from Palm Springs International Film Festival and have them framed and hanging on our MCM home's walls. Most recently, I picked up a very cool PS wine bottle carrier and some coasters. We also love the wall clocks (10-inch diameter) with the classic atomic design, in all the MCM colors - orange, turquoise, lime green, gold, etc. We're going to be adding one of these above our kitchen sink in the near future. Customer service is always fantastic, and they are sticklers for practicing Covid-19 safety measures, including wiping down signing pens and all surfaces between customers. This is one of the best/most fun shops in Palm Springs and is a must visit for everyone!

Getting there: This cute little novelty spot is located on the main road right next door to Crazy Mel's and across from Free People. There is street parking out front but also a parking lot a couple of blocks down with a min of 4 hrs before you have to pay. Experience: We were walking passed looking for another shop when we stumbled upon this little shop. They have all Palm Springs novelty items from old school home replica houses for tissue boxes, tshirts, bathing suits and posters. We love PS so we bought some posters to hang up in our house. They also had photography of vintage PS homes for sale. I will definitely be back for more home decor items.

Best shop in Palm Springs, a must visit for everyone! Absolutely love this store and I want everything inside! For iconic Palm Springs inspired memorabilia, no one comes close! The items are new, but the designs are inspired by vintage Palm Spring patterns and are imprinted in coasters, placemats, cocktail trays and appetizer plates, ice buckets, and acrylic glasses to sip cocktails by the pool. T-shirts, hats, beach towels and so much more! Some of the items are incredibly unique like the tissue box holders cleverly designed as a mid-century mod house. What a cool piece and a conversation starter! Loved the wall clocks with the classic atomic design, in all the Palm Springs colors - orange, turquoise, lime green, gold - on white or black backgrounds. One day, one of these will hang in my home, just have to figure out where. Lots of wonderful coffee table books on mid century architecture, kitchens, glamping, classic cars, cocktails - definitely a great gift for a friend or yourself. The back of the store has swimwear for the entire family so make sure to make your way back there. Service was friendly; all those that work there are helpful. They know people are there to browse, to ooh and aahhh over the items in addition to make purchases, so they let you do your thing which I greatly appreciate! While I loved everything in the store, I settled on just one item for my home, a four pack of coasters. Having a few items adds interest and subtle style; doing too much would turn a room into a theme which gets too kitschy for my taste. I'll be back for gifts, and I still have my eye on those clocks!

Fun store in downtown PS. Great selection of mid mod souvenirs that are classy not tacky. Super helpful and enthusiastic staff helped with buying decisions and some discounts. Wish we had more room in our luggage to bring stuff home. Cool place and reasonable prices.

I was in the downtown area and wanted some souvenirs. I was looking for a cheap store but in the cheap store I wasn't finding anything cool. So I came back here even though it's a little pricey! I later found out way this place is so pricey. Kaye was helping me and she was so helpful in explaining what this store is about. Which is giving back to the library and helping the local animal shelter. The items here are not cheap but it's worth it because the quality is great and its for a great cause. When I come back to Palm Springs this may not be may first stop but it will for sure be a stop!!!

Really a fun store with an incredible amount of true-blue Palm Springs memorabilia. We went in for some of their stylish t-shirts, and left with so much more. Cards, a new favorite clock, architecture and design books, masks, fun appetizer plates, a couple pieces of fun desert jewelry, and even scored some fun Palm Springs placemats. Do have to say their t-shirt designs are one-of-a-kind, something for the entire family. And also found the perfect hats. We found this store while waiting for our brunch tables, and returned afterwards to complete an amazing day in downtown Palm Springs. And even with the 110 degree weather, it was cool and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful.

A friend of ours told us to check the store out because of its style. So we did. What a great surprise. The second you walk in you are met with beautifully designed products. There is a great selection of items to choose from and we thought they were good value for money. We will be returning to this store in the next few days to purchase some more items. The two gentlemen who ran the store were polite and did not push us to make a purchase. They didn't need to! So many things to buy here. Hope this helps.

We stopped in as a ladies group of 8 looking for matching t-shirts to remember our 25 year friendship and a celebratory weekend in Palm Springs. It was Pride weekend and lots of rainbow colors were all over town and Destination PSP is right in the heart of town. They had a nice selection of t-shirts and many other things, but since our focus was on the shirts that's what I noticed. We ladies were all different sizes and the store was able to accommodate us all in a cute shirt that we all posed in for photos. The sales people were really helpful and we had a good time in the store.

I just received the replacement glasses (shipped free of charge with no requirement to ship back the damage ones) and to my surprise I got three additional set of glasses for free, completing the set! That was totally unexpected, and the reason why I LOVE to shop local!

I love this very upscale cool vintage store that has everything about Palm Springs in one awesome store!! Wonderful memories of my childhood going to PS every weekend between Easter and Memorial Day. Everyone who works here appreciates the vibe and they are very friendly and helpful!!

I have been shopping at Destination PSP since it opened. I have purchased a few PS t-shirts there. I considered the price high, but the quality of the shirt and the design have lasted years! The PS mid century design items are beautiful. Perfect gift location. The bathing suit collection has grown a good deal. Very high quality as well. They also give back to the community through sales of certain items. The stores at Modernism and the Film Festival are great places to shop for event merchandise. A great business model and One of my favorite stores in PS.

Absolutely loved this store and had the best customer service. I definitely got my souvenirs and couldn't be happier. I could have bought a lot more if I wasn't flying home. Definitely recommend a stop in here for some great things to take home. I absolutely love mid century modern and found some super cute things for my house.

This place is heaven sent. The cutest shirts, books and drinkwear. It's like stepping back in time. The colors are bright and the staff is incredibly friendly.

Destination PSP is such a fun shop, and I love bringing friends in here when they are visiting from out of town. It's a great gift shop for all things "Palm Springs" and the staff are always SO approachable and friendly! This is a real local gem.

Best souvenir store ever. Such a different authentic representation/twist on Palm Springs and covers all what P.S. is/and has been about. Artistic selections. You will not leave the store empty handed. Allow time because it's all great to look at. Wonderful items to take back, give away or take home for yourself. They did it right. As must stop when visiting Palm Springs. Such an awesome shop. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The variety of items in the shop can meet any and all tastes. Everyone in my group found something they liked and purchased. My problem was what I liked, I could not take with me on the plane. "no problem' says the clerk. "If you buy more than $100, we will ship for free!" So that is what I did. Bought $101, which was only a coincidence. But, he wrapped it up and shipped it off to my across the country. Thank you! I love my lamp, coasters in the living room. My dog loves his new HRC collar and I loved the new clothes I bought. Can't wait to visit again.

Always great little retro & modern things in this store. The owner is super friendly. We always stop in when in downtown. They have a great selection of cute shirts & bathing attire. I used to have to order retro 1940's style Esther Williams bathing suits online years ago because I couldn't find them anywhere local. Look no further...this store has them!

So, this place has a sign on the front of the building "SWIM", so silly me thinking they'd have a great selection of swimwear. The swim section had maybe 4 bikini bottom options, 20 bikini top options, and quite a few one pieces. I get that it's Palm Springs' "off season" and it's during a pandemic.... BUT, I still expected more of a selection when faced with a sign from outside luring me in. Guess I'm back on the hunt for a local swim shop.... So if anyone knows of a place down in the CV or in the Hi-Dez... lemme know!

Destination PSP is a uniquely wonderful retail experience. The staff is very friendly and personable as well as knowledgeable about all their store's superlative inventory. I like the fact that here is a place where you can buy proprietary items that you won't find anywhere else. A store like Destination PSP makes Palm Springs the special place it is to so many residents and visitors alike.

Wow this truly is a trip back in time, my whole family loved our time in this store, and loved that they design most of it themselves!!! The lovely Scottish gentleman helped us and talked us through all the great partnerships and ideas behind the designs (he even gave us free glitter ball key chains) We will defiantly be taking them up on their free shipping before we leave beautiful Palm Springs........thanks for inspiring me to write my first yelp, keep up the good work.

Came in for two things, one I saw on their Instagram that I hoped they still had, and one I wasn't sure if they carried but I hoped they might have. And they had both! (I also wanted everything else in this store because it was all so cute!). Great store. LOVE IT.

I bought a lot of merchandise here last year on vacation. I returned last week. I asked to use the bathroom. Amanda was very snippy and sent me across the street to disgusting public bathrooms. I only purchased one item this time because of her rudeness and attitude. And Amanda had the nerve to compliment me on my shirt when I checked out. Did I look homeless? Never returning to this store again. Lots of other places to get same merchandise online.

Best gift shop in the area if modernism is your thing. Artistic sensibility. Prices are on the higher side but worth it for the creativity. Free shipping if you spend a bit in case your bags are full.

Must go to shop! I got most of my souvenirs from here! Great staff and a ton of Palm Springs gifts. There are a variety of T-shirts that are much nicer than the other shirt stores nearby. There are some great books and postcards. They do sell dog related gifts, including shirts. The back has swim wear. The people who worked there were so nice!

What a great experience shopping downtown in Palm Springs. Terrific selection of really fun items for gifts and the home. The staff was really friendly and helpful. They know their inventory. Although they were really busy, they made us feel important and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely return when we are back in town.

I enjoyed discovering Destination PSP this time around while in Palm Springs. Great store to explore, fun, cool merchandise, not your regular souvenir, but cool, nice designed ones. Fun t-shirts, towels, totes, mugs. Great reproductions of posters from Palm Springs International Film Festival that would make a nice art addition to your wall. Cool books and DVD-s dedicated to the area. Palm Springs needed a modern store like this, it so fits the area. Great customer service. You can get fun gifts here or souvenirs that would ad something cool to your place!
