Destino Bar de Tapas

What a dining experience. Everything about Destino had a wonderful charm. The bread and aioli was lovely and disappeared quickly. We were encouraged to set aside our phones and step up to the front to choose each dish, guided by the owner’s warm descriptions. The recommendations were spot on. The lamb tagine with the lentils was perfect. The octopus tasted like a real home cooked dish. The cauliflower and broccoli gratin was everything we needed. The seaweed salad was a real surprise. And the desserts were so good. The pistachio cheesecake was a standout. When we arrived, we learned it was their penultimate evening before the off-season. As soon as we finished our meal, we eagerly booked a spot for their final day. And what a last day it was! The atmosphere was vibrant, and the food was exceptional all over again. The staff are so lovely, warm and kind. There is a real buzz and passion here and it's infectious. Everyone is smiling, and the food is amazing. As a customer, you can't help but to just feel good here. We have never left a restaurant feeling so connected that you hug the staff goodbye, but that’s exactly how we felt at Destino’s final celebration. Thank you to everyone at Destino who has made our visits so special and given us lasting memories.

The service was great, food was solid, and vibes were on point. The staff was so friendly & kind! I asked for a great place in Ibiza for some paella 🥘 & Claudio gave us the the best recommendation! Not only was the food tasty, but his suggestion on food recommendations around Ibiza were great! Would I go back here? YES

Visited here this evening with my wife and two young kids. What an absolute gem of a place. Staff and food were fantastic. Great atmosphere and the children were made very welcome. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful restaurant. Honestly, thanks guys and apologies for breaking the glass!

Best meal we had during our week in Ibiza, and we had some lovely meals! The tapas was so deicious. We got the chicken satay, aubergine gratin, spinach and lentils. These were all so tasty. We then decided we had to try the dates wrapped in bacon as the owner recommended them. She was right - AMAZING! All the staff were so helpful and had better English than we did which is always embarassing and makes me think I really need to learn more Spanish! Then we saw the tray of desserts shown to the next table and immediately knew we had to try at least two. Beyond delicious again. I just wish we'd found Destino earlier in our trip - we will be back next time we're in Ibiza for sure. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and for the lovely tapas.

Hands down the worst food in Sant Josep. If you're looking for unfresh food that's massively microwaved, this is the place for you. When I politely told staff the food was bad, there was no apology, kindness or sympathy. You're better going to Burger King down the road.

Nice but expensive. Possibly over priced for what u get. But that's ibiza for you. The charm of the place is declining. I remember this place years ago. Before covid. Felt more friendly then.

Cannot fault this place best tapas I've had in a long while. They have something for everyone, it ranges from more traditional stuff to less traditional, such as the seaward salad which was to die for, the prawn cerviche and potato gratin . It doesn't matter what you're into food wise there is a great selection for all.

What a beautiful place. This diner made us so happy. The food was amazing. And the service was excellent. We will certainly come back. Destino tapa's is highly recommanded!!!

We thought we'll have a great tapas experience but it was a disappointment! Food was all pre-made and reheated, lack of freshness. While I would rate the food a 3, the service sucked! The head-waiter had an arrogant attitude with lack of warm welcome, patience and hospitality! Not a good representation of San Josep city!! Although the setting is a nice tiny venue, service and food do not meet our expectations!

This was our best find in Ibiza. It's a local favorite, so be sure to make a reservation or be prepared to wait. The tapas are a great mix of traditional with influences from abroad (tagine lamb or curry chicken). The lentils were savory and our favorite. Great wine pairings and wonderful and friendly staff!
