Me and my husband wanted to visit Florida for the very first time. We got a good deal on a plane ticket and hotel package together. We ended up getting there at 6 in the morning and check in wasn’t supposed to be until 3 pm. I called the hotel and told them we had been traveling all night and were really tired and tried to ask them if we could somehow come earlier. The guy at the reception desk was very polite and said give us until 10 and we will have it ready for you. That was the sweetest thing to hear. I appreciate them so much for doing that for us. When we got there the room was very clean. We stayed a week and the house keepers kept our room clean when we would leave with fresh towels and the bed made. Everyone was very kind and helpful anytime we had questions. The room we had was older but I appreciated everyday. The hotel is clean it has a washer and dryer, microwave and lobby area with tables if you want to eat. The pool was nice to swim in as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Lots of homeless around the area, the owner is super rude. Room was dirty from the jump. Housekeeping came by two times in a two week period. We had to ask for towels, toilet paper, etc. You will always hear the owner yelling at the staff and guest. Trash was always in front of our doors from neighbors and just left there for days. We were told we would have to take our own trash out. The floor in our room was soaked from the AC, we told management twice and all they did was fetched a couple of towels and told us that it was fixed. It ruined our clothing and bags we had. My husband is also a disabled veteran and was told he was not allowed to have his ADA registered serviced dog there. (Which is against the law). We had to pay lots of money out of pocket to put her in a doggy daycare. Not to mention the fact that we were super quiet and never complained about anything. But he had the nerve to scream at my husband over our belt on our car snapping, we hired a professional company to come fix it and he went off on him. Not to mention, they were there less the 1.5 hours. He complains about anything and everything, when I called to ask him what the issue was after he told us it was OK as long as we got it fixed, he screamed at me and hung up. Stay far away. Better locations for a better price and less attitude.

I called this hotel to confirm my reservation. The employee proceeds to. Ask me why am I staying there. This not long term reservation. And this guy was yelling at me. And then he was yelling at me about cooking inside the room. I haven't even checked in I'm still waiting for to see if he has my reservation. And he continued yelling at me for like a good 20-30 minutes. I told him I didn't call him for anything just to confirm my reservation I told him I did not ask him about cooking in the room I just wanted to confirm my reservation he continued yelling at me saying it's against the law that I'll be fine if I cook in the room and I'm like all I wanted was confirmation I was ready to cry because as much as you want was yelling at me and would not stop I asked him to refund my money. He said I have to contact booking.com and he will give me my money back but it's up to them to send it to me I've been on the phone with booking.com for a good 40 minutes and this guy won't even answer booking.com phone calls to refund my money. As far as customer service this hotel fails 100% this guy does not have customer service skills at all I asked to speak to the manager so I could complain but it turns out that he is the manager. I just want my money back I don't want to stay in a hotel that a manager yells at you. All I ask is for confirmation my reservation that's all I asked. Now I just want my money back I'm like they won't give me my money back I'm still waiting

Was told a microwave would be included IN THE ROOM.. get there and we are told we need to share the community microwave with other guests. Its not the cleanest hotel and definitely a little run down. Worth the price but I don’t like them lying about what comes in room.

Google
We are college students and for the price it was worth every penny. It was 60 dollars a night. So I can’t complain about anything I’m about to say. The hotel was outdated, the rooms were humid, showers were crusty, roaches are in your room, pool is worthless. Like I said college student on a budget did I care. NO! Decently close to the Disney parks and saved like 3 to 4 hundred dollars. Next time I would just stay at Disney but overall I would stay there again if I wanted to save some money. It wasn’t bad despite what I said.

We picked this place as a easy overnight before our Disney adventure begins. We arrived around midnight in the middle of the week quite tired from a long drive. The hotel policies were absolutely inflexible and over the top. Only matched, perhaps even exceeded by the snarky desk clerk.||The hotel room itself had bugs, furniture, too large for the room and an uncomfortable mattress. Other than that, the place was fantastic. ||The cherry on the top was when the manager called the next day to address my concerns about the check in the night before. I was initially surprised that the place would go that extra step until it became apparent that the manager was simply calling to continue the argument. ||This place is truly the bottom of the barrel.

Google
Comfy beds, cleanish rooms. Would be better if they got rid of the carpet. Laminate floors just seem so much cleaner. The room is a bit small for a king bed, but we were just sleeping and showering, we didn't spend much time in the room. Room also has a mini fridge and microwave. Not much storage though, and I didn't find a safe in the room.

Great stay for the price. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. There was an error with the booking and he fixed it for us with no issues.great location to Disney and food. We will definitely be back. Hopefully the pool is up and running soon

Yelp
Short stays only. That said, it's just fine. Lobby & decor need a spruce up but all was clean & tidy. Room size was fine. Microwave, fridge and coffee maker are handy but the coffee itself is a hard pass. Water pressure is alright & again all furnishings need updating but don't let that discourage you if you're on a budget hunt. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Only a 7-Eleven, McDonald's and local diner(not bad) are in walking distance. No breakfast here but they have a dining area & offer coffee in the morning. It's a pretty good deal in Kissimmee.

Yelp
Not sure where to begin with this one. When booking my first stay at this hotel I have to say I feel greatly mislead by many of the reviews and photos available of this hotel. Maybe I have higher standards than most but I doubt it since I am a very budget conscious traveler - so here it goes. This hotel will be great for you if: 1) You like making new friends! We encountered three German cockroaches in our first room. Unfortunately we ended the lives of our new friends shortly after meeting them. The hotel did move us to another room after the second day of this. 2) You need your skin thoroughly exfoliated! I have never thought that a body or hand towel could be rougher than 80-grit sandpaper but I found some and it's plentiful at this hotel. I feel that the towels would be more effective sanding wood than drying someone after a shower. My skin is now so soft after using their towels to literally scrape off the outer layer of my skin while drying off. Saves me a trip to the spa. 3) You like playing "what's that smell?" Both rooms I used definitely had a smell but we couldn't decide if it's mold, mildew, decaying body, the food crumbs under the air conditioner unit, or the dirty sheets. Definitely let the yelp community know your best guess - could start a fun game. If you decide to play, chime in on the scent of the elevator. Perhaps used motor oil or burned plastic - up to you to decide! 4) Cigarette smell is a delicacy! What could be better than walking out the hotel exit to two maids blowing cigarette smoke into your face when walking by? Can't think of anything better myself. My lungs thank you for that. Could redirect that smoke into the hotel next time and maybe the roaches will seek shelter elsewhere. This hotel will not be great for you if: 1) You prefer hairless sheets! There were definitely some strays of all kinds in the bed. Like going to the local SPCA but instead of cute puppies it's hair from many of the past guests. 2) You need your bed made every day. Not a problem for me since I like my room left alone. But if you need something, it's up to you to request it. Whether it be new towels or a fresh bed you must ask. Like I said that doesn't bother me but if you need full service this might not be your place. 3) You expect the employees to be respectful. This was quite an interesting funny moment of my stay here. The final night I had asked for a late check out and was told 12pm would be fine. It was 11:45 am and I had run out to the car to grab my glasses. On the way in I saw two maids knocking on my room door. My spouse was in the room at the time saying we didn't need housekeeping and was told "check out was at 11!" To which he responded "we were told 12 was okay." The two maids both started whispering some not-so-nice phrases about us not knowing I was quietly standing behind them waiting to get back into the room. They went silent and scurried off just like my insect friend tried to when discovered in the bathroom of room one. Just to add I did not once ask them to make the bed and I got my own towels. They should have thanked me for saving them work for my eight day stay! Geez. 4) Quiet is a must. Some neighbors down the hall were engaging in very loud "physical activity" complete with slapping and screaming. Considering many guests stay here with their children for Disney, just thought I'd mention it. Who wants to explain to their children that the woman next door isn't being slapped by daddy because she is not behaving? Well that's my thorough review of destiny palms. Enjoy your stay!

Yelp
I agree with management issues. I stayed for 2 weeks and rebooked for another week. when I asked if I could stay in the same room the manager went ballistic and cancelled my reservation and threw me out of the hotel with no reason given. Because of the time to get a refund from Booking.com I am now homeless and in the street. I plan to sue. The manager apparently thinks he's god. He needs to be fired immediatel.

Yelp
Check in and check out was very easy. You have to request a housekeeper if you want your room tidied up during your stay. Most of our lights flickered while they were on and the room (especially the shower) could have been cleaner. Overall not a bad stay.

Alissa L.

Yelp
We checked in and immediately checked out. This hotel isn't in the nicest of areas and can be kind of scary. My boyfriend and I went up to the room and saw lots of stains all over our bed. Then I saw some bugs on the bed as well. They refused to refund us at this time. Then I saw a cockroach looking bug flying and that was the last straw. My boyfriend hit it with his shoe and the bug was still alive. It was then that we went down to the desk and checked out. We spoke to the third party we booked through and they were able to give us a refund.

Katie K.

Yelp
This hotel is very budget friendly. I am normally very picky about hotels but I can't say enough good about this one! It's clean, well kept, and welcoming. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. We are so glad we stayed here! We will be back!

Yelp
We booked a stay at this hotel about a month in advance for one night for a family vacation. Something happened on the road and my dad ended up in the emergency room having emergency surgery in Tallahassee. We didn't end up making it to Orlando and we called that same night and Caesar talked to us on the phone and was very helpful. He said he didn't have authority to give us a refund but told us to call back in the morning and his manager, Paul, could help us. We called back the next morning and Paul wouldn't even come to the phone to speak to us. He kept sending one of his employees back and forth to deliver messages. He refused to give us a refund because we didn't book the room through them. Paul is a weasel who is too scared to speak to customers on the phone. Don't book here. After looking at other reviews, we dodged a bullet by not staying here, they have bedbugs.

Nancee M.

Yelp
We had friends visiting the area and they chose this hotel this tie around. The price was fair and the staff were incredibly friendly. While there are some things that probably need to be updated like the shower, over all the hotel stay has been very comfortable. We love that it is very quiet. Many times you just into a hotel and every time someone comes down the hall or talks in their room or closes a door you hear it. This place is a dream for peace and quiet. We look forward to finishing our visit here... Happy Stay!

JT T.

Yelp
We made this reservation on the fly while on the road for a late check in. We don't arrive in til around midnight and after going by the unlit sign twice we finally find the hotel about a block from the main drag. When we pull into the parking lot we pass the side door of the main building. Looking inside we saw two dudes sitting by a door, sprawled out. Seemed a bit strange. Then we pull around front and what would have been the main entrance was blocked by two cars. Most of the parking lot lights were blacked out. Reminded me of Iraq. I must admit we didn't go in and simply let our pre paid reso go.

Yelp
You get what you pay for. If you pay for 1/2 the price of a mice hotel then you literally get 1/2 the hotel room and bathroom as well. Bathrooms do not have tubs. Every room is a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures. That also goes for the pool. Elevator shifted down a little when we got on so that was scary. But if you want a cheaper place close to Disney with small rooms then this is your place! The honest review: We checked out a day early because the couple next to us fought from 11pm to 330am. The screaming woke my daughter up twice! She's almost two. I said something to the front desk the day we left at seven. He told me his boss would be in at 730 but I had already booked a hotel. He asked why I didn't go down or call down and tell them about the noise. Well it's because I heard the girlfriend begging him not to hit her a few times. I didn't want to put my family in jeopardy. We left at seven thirty am and the front desk had changed staff. We told the lady on our way out that we were checking out a day early. She just said ok! After a day of no call from the manager to follow up, I called them. He asked me if I was the one who checked out at three pm that day. I told him no. I left at 730 am and told his front staff. I then told him why we left and why we didn't complain about the noise earlier. He then told me he'd follow up with me in a few days. He has yet too!

Yelp
Looked great on the internet. Not the greatest price for what we experienced. New Years weekend. Came into lobby ...one lighbulb was already out at the front desk. Sign of a poorly maintained hotel. Entered room. Looked nice but then noticed two lightbulbs out in room and then a severely torn curtain. After an overnight stay, went down to breakfast included. All carbs, no proteins offered at all. Lots of cereal, frozen pancakes and waffles on a platter and fair coffee. Bagels, but no cream cheese. Nothing for anyone that has to watch carbs. Went out, came back at 6pm. No maid service had been done. No new towels, no beds made nothing but an envelop asking for a tip for the great maid service. With a little effort this place could be much nicer ...they have competition that does much better at the same or better price.

Tabi B.

Yelp
Would definitely recommend. Came in from Virginia as a first time visitor to the area and the owner was absolutely amazing!!! He has an amazing personality and you can tell he cares about his hotel and the experience you have. He gained a repeat customer for sure.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
I am honestly shocked by the good reviews of this hotel. It makes me wonder if they are paid reviews. We are budget travelers. We easily stay in hostels with no difficulties. But this hotel is not nice by any stretch of the word. We stayed two nights. We were phoned on our day of check in to find out "what time we would be arriving." I found that to be pretty rude. They had emailed me the day before to let me know the latest check in was 11 pm and I politely responded letting them know we would be there before 11. So why are you calling me at 3 pm to find out what time we will be arriving? This place is tucked behind a fast food restaurant and hard to see at night. There was some kind of construction in the parking lot and the hotel was dimly lit. When we entered we were met by a woman at the front desk who definitely enjoys a good chat. We try to be kind but really we just want to get to our room. She asks for my credit card and charges the wrong amount. Then proceeds to argue with me for the next 5 minutes about why their email with my guaranteed price from their website was incorrect. So much so that my boyfriend left and went to the car. Finally she got the man who lives there (my assumption is that he was the owner). Who explains and then refunds my the difference. This whole check in process took over 45 minutes. We get to our room and it also was dimly lit with light switches all over the room. The room was old. Really old. Had a musty smell but the bed appeared clean. The room had an AC system that constantly clicked on and off so much so that we finally decided to just leave the AC fan running constantly. The room was small but made good use of the space having a desk, tv and mini fridge. The bathroom was tiny and the shower required a lot of fiddling to get working well enough to wash your hair. The carpet was old but what was most disgusting to me was that when I dropped my cord and went to pick it up I got a look under the AC where there was old molded food, caked dirt and dropped coins. A quick swipe of the vacuum should've gotten all of this. I then went to get in bed to find a large dead centipede on the floor next to my bed. Probably the worst part for me was that directly outside of our room was a parking lot street light. It did a better job lighting our room with the shades closed then it did lighting the parking lot. With no other way to darken our room we just had to deal with constant light coming in our room. The next morning I went to the front desk to get ice at 6:30 am. I was told someone would be there starting at 6. No one was there. Rang the bell. No one came. Searched for an ice machine to no avail. Came back 15 minutes later. Still no one. Later that evening the woman advised me that the person had "over slept" and she gave me ice for the next day. Luckily I put the ice container in the fridge and most of the ice did last. But seriously, can't they get an ice machine? We were advised that the advertised free breakfast was not served due to Covid. We had just come from another hotel which did grab and go but this was not offered at Destiny Palm. Most concerning to me was the area and others hotel goers or stragglers in the area. Both mornings we left there we saw different random people hanging out on the side of the hotel. They did not appear to be vacationers but instead likely locals. This area in general was just not well kept. Definitely did not give me the Disney feeling. Overall, we would not stay again. Even for the price we paid I feel like we got ripped off. Pros: Less than 20 minutes to the Disney gates Low cost nightly rate Cons: Dirty room Old and not well kept Bad general location Strange people around the hotel No breakfast as advertised No ice or ice machine Poor shades to keep the light out Poor staffing (arguing over booked price, not having staff on duty when quoted) No room cleaning or towel changing service I get that Covid has hit everyone hard but this hotel doesn't even appear to try. Hopefully this review will help the owner to make some very necessary changes. Staying at a place in this condition does damper ones vacation.

Yelp
My grandfather attempted to pull us into their lot at 9:30 PM on a Tuesday after we ate at Manny's Chophouse, searching for a room to stay. He didn't have his glasses on and accidentally ran over a cone(our apologizes we were traveling 300 feet) we immediately stopped and attempted to fix the situation. The manager ran out asking if we were staying there and threatened us. Even stating he was running in to grab a gun, we were scared and drove off.

Paige F.

Yelp
My car was broken into at this location and not only did they damage my window but they shot through my glovebox causing thousands of dollars worth of damage to my engine and making it Inoperable. The hotel owner was extremely confrontational and tried to blame the whole situation on me even though there were multiple car that were broken into on the same night. It's not safe to stay here. I could only imagine if the bullets would have came through the hotel window. As we were trying to work things out with my insurance company because the owner stated that he had no insurance on his hotel, he harassed us hourly until we just packed up our stuff in the trunk of the car and waited for a tow truck in the pouring rain. I paid $70 to a private tow truck just to be towed up the street while we waited for the insurance to dispatch a tow. There was also an armed robbery at the 7-11 days prior.

Felix I.

Yelp
I recently stayed here for a few days. This is a good hotel given what you pay for the room. The staff was polite and professional throughout my entire stay. There is free breakfast served daily from 6AM - 9AM (cereal, coffee, orange juice, waffles, bagels, toast). The location is great. It is located within walking distance of restaurants and about 11 miles from Disney World. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Sam P.

Yelp
Discovered bed bugs at about 2AM on the first night of a 2 night stay on 2/1/19. Checked out at 2:51am and went to another hotel. Spoke Paul the manager the next day. Issued a refund and assured me several times that he "takes this issue very seriously". Paul didn't care at all about the inconvenience his establishment put my family through. Traveling with a small 2 year old child is difficult enough, but having to pack up all your stuff at 230am and move to another hotel is extremely inconvenient to say the least. Not to mention having to pay an outrageous rate at another hotel to check in at 3am on a Friday night. Also having to quarantine all of our luggage, our clothing, and our vehicle to make sure we didn't bring any of these pests home was definitely not fun. All of this added a ton of expenses to our budget and basically ruined our vacation. Meanwhile, Paul only seemed to care about the hotel and couldn't care less about ruining our valuable time. It was clearly not the first time he has dealt with bed bugs at his establishment. Im aware of all the glowing reviews Destiny Palms has on several different websites. I urge everyone to dig a little deeper into the reviews because you will find that this is not the first time a guest has encountered bed bugs.

Elissa H.

Yelp
Although the bed was very comfortable this was the only good part of our stay ... When we first checked in the curtains we're broken, the phone broken, the mini fridge broken ... Also had a dispute about billing to my account and the lady at the front desk told me I was wrong about how they charged my card .... I wouldn't return if I had a choice

Cynthia A.

Yelp
Bed bugs!!!! Beware! One of my friends stood at this hotel since it had great reviews and it turns out he found a bed bug. Front desk was no help but just a heads up beware if you stay

Sonia C.

Yelp
There were four good things about this hotel. 1. Friendly staff 2. Complimentary breakfast 3. Free parking & 4. Near restaurants & parks. Now, the room i had several issues. Small room, smelly, no bathtub, dirty carpet, no screen when i opened the window, no shuttle service @ all ( even after i was told when i made the reservation), no extra blankets or sheets to cover at night, was woken up by the garbage truck & other guests in the hallways, only a few chanels to watch tv, furniture was scratched. All in all not very impressed with this hotel. It felt like a motel rather then a hotel. I know this is a privately owned hotel but they need major upgrades. I paid less then $60/ a night. I think it wasent worth what i paid for.

Eric N.

Yelp
There really isn't anything nice I can say about this hotel. I have stayed at many budget friendly hotels and this one was by far was the worst. Typically with a budget friendly hotel all I am looking for is a clean bed and shower to use. Let's start with the problems: there was a water stain and black residue on the ceiling in the lobby when you walk in, not a good first impression but not a huge deal. We went to the room and overall the room is a little small and rundown but not bad. Then we went in the bathroom and it was the most disgusting bathroom I have ever been in, just look at the pics. There was mildew/mold on the light in the shower and the handle in the shower. The light over the shower was falling out of the ceiling. The light in the bathroom did not have cap on it. The breakfast was unimpressive but you shouldn't expect much for free. I'm glad I only stayed for a couple nights, I couldn't deal with this place much longer than that. There are a lot of other reasonably priced hotels in the area so I wouldn't bother staying here. Again, just look at the pictures, the place was just gross!!

Serena D.

Yelp
You know, for the price it really isn't bad. Obviously this hotel is in need of a makeover, but other than a small tear in the blanket and a really dated shower, it was fine. The room was clean, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was ok. They just had 2 kinda of cereal, instant oatmeal, a bunch of toast and bagels, and refrigerated waffles and pancakes to put in the toaster. There was no yogurt fruit or muffins, and definitely no eggs or bacon, but there is a mini fridge in the room so we could keep yogurt and fruit in. It was 15-20 minutes to all the DisneyWorld parks, and surrounded by decent dinner options. There is a Target and a Walgreens near, and even a rather sketchy giant flea market across the street that we had fun browsing in.

Angie R.

Yelp
So we have stayed here before one year ago and I have to say that for the price it is a nice hotel when you want to save money in Orlando. I am all about cheaper hotels for vacations to Disney because we all know how expensive that park can be! I'd rather spend my money on fun inside the park or experiences rather than on a hotel that you're rarely at. Just my opinion:) This is your basic hotel, the front desk staff is the nicest that I've come across. I left my charger there when we checked out and when I called they already had it for me saved up front..she was so sweet when telling me I could pick it back up at my convenience. They also serve a full breakfast buffet for free every morning between 6:30 and 9am I believe. It has waffles and eggs, breads and pastries with juices milk and cereals and fruits. It was packed every morning we stayed. It must've been good! The room was very clean, the beds comfortable and they didn't hesitate to give us clean towels. My only complaint was the size of the pool and the time it stays open. Most hotels have pools that are open till 11pm but this one closed at dusk, around 8:30pm.

Amber I.

Yelp
We stayed 9 days in March when we went to Disney. Its about 9 miles from Disney & very easy to get to from the motel. The rooms were clean, staff was nice, and breakfast was good. My kids enjoyed swimming in the pool also. The hotel is was only 9 minutes from disney, its next to mcdonalds and about a mile from Target and other shopping.

Jhon P.

Yelp
Like others have said, the place is dated and a renovation would do it well. With that said, this is a great hotel when you consider the price. We stayed for two nights using an Amazon Local discount ($45 per night) and the amenities include for that price are difficult to beat. The only additional fees, which were not hidden at all, were the ridiculous 13% tax and the $4 resort fee. The resort fee entitles you to free Wifi with decent signal, free parking, 24 hour pool, and computer usage. The place also had free breakfast. The Wifi was good but I had better signal with my cell phone than on the Wifi. It's good to have it though just in case. The pool we never used because we were there for the parks and only used the hotel to sleep. The computer we also never used. This is the era of smartphones, after all. The breakfast we skipped both days because it didn't seem appetizing to us. It consist of a buffet style eating area, with all you can eat muffins, bagels, cereal, coffee, orange and Apple juice (not 100% juice - parents be warned), French Toast, waffles, and pancakes. The pancakes and waffles were of the frozen type and you had to use the toaster to warm them up before you ate them. I wonder if they store the leftovers for the next day. As for the coffee, I'm used to better tasting coffee so to me what they had to offer was horrid. Serves well to wake you up, though. That covers the amenities, which I wanted to talk about first because I consider that to be out of the norm for a $45/night hotel 4 miles from Disney. The room itself was clean and tidy. It had a microwave and mini-fridge as well as a mini-bathroom. The bathroom shower head was dirty and the water pressure was not the best. The toilet flush was weak. The A/C worked just fine, and the TV was big enough. But you're not getting a room this cheap to watch TV all day are you? I was not required to interact with the staff at all except for the check-in process, but during the check-in there was what seemed to be the manager of the hotel talking very condescendingly to the receptionist and just being flat-out rude in front of me and my friends. We're guests to your hotel; there is no reason for you to create such a nasty image of your hotel just through your actions. That's really the only negative to this hotel and it had nothing to do with my stay. Anyway, for the price and location, this is a great hotel. I'd recommend it.

Dee B.

Yelp
Pass this hotel 2x, signage not big enough. Hotel staff very guest friendly, helpful and answer many questions. Checked in a hour early without a problem. Room was nice but very gloomy and dark due to several lights bulbs being out. Breakfast is simple nothing fancy or a full breakfast buffet but enough to get you on your way. Really enjoyed my stay. Housekeeping starts early and is good with respecting guest " do not disturb" signs on door.

Yelp
4.5 - This hotel offers bang for your buck! I recently stayed at the Double Tree by Hilton at the Entrance of Universal and I feel that this hotel offers so much more for the money. This hotel is by no means swanky, but who cares when you are off seeing the sites and attractions! The pool is clean, $1.00 laundry facility, breakfast, refrigerator, toaster oven, shuttles to the all the attractions (which is worth every penny to not have to fuss about parking) and the beds are just as comfortable as the Hilton!

Yelp
I used to stay here every year during my vacation. It's a simple place but much pleasant and quiet. Isn't allowed to smoke in anyplace, what is very healthy in my opinion. I strongly recommend for all, thanks for Mr Chuck, which always try to make my stay very nice. It's near to Walt Disney parks, Nike Store and several Starbucks that I love!

Yelp
The price is good, staff extremely helpful and the location really is prime. The biggest problem I had with this stay was the smell of the room. It was musty and just did smell clean. I looked the room through and it did appear clean, but the smell was just off. We opened the window and had the air/fan going to circulate in the room. We stayed in a king sized bed room and it was very comfortable. The bed and pillows were super comfortable, I didn't want to wake up! The pool and deck is also nice, overall a nice stay besides the smell.

Yelp
Would give this 1.5 stars if I could. The hotel is very run down and dirty. Rooms are tiny and there is only a stand-up shower, no bath-tub. The sheets on the bed are extremely thin, as are the pillows. The mattresses are old and have no support. The blankets are thin and worn. There is a refrigerator in the room which is nice, but no microwave. Instead, it is a toaster oven, which seems odd. The free breakfast is minimal with no hot or refrigerated foods. Just basically cereal, breads/bagels, and muffins, bad coffee and a juices out of the typical machine. However, if you are in Orlando to enjoy the theme parks from morning to night, and all you want is a place to sleep at night, a quick place to shower in the morning, and a quick bowl of cereal to start your day, then it is a great bargain! It's about 15 minutes from the Disney theme parks. And on a main road, near major chain restaurants. I just wish it were cleaner and better maintained.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed this hotel. It was awesome from beginning to finish. We got to the hotel around 10:30am and to our surprise the lady at the front desk gave us a room immediately (keep in mind that Check in is usually at 4pm). She was just super sweet and accommodating (i believe her name was Stephanie). Anyways, the hotel is located within minutes from the parks. We decided to uber instead of taking a rental car and let me tell you best decision ever if your taking a short trip (about a week or so) because of how central this hotel is from everything. It was about a $12-15 uber ride to the parks one way (we went to animal kingdom one day and magic kingdom the next). And then we went to the little plaza that's like 5 mins away which cost us about $6. And then we also went to the huge shopping outlets which was about a $15 ride as well. From MCO to the hotel it was about a $40 ride and coming back was about a $33 ride. This place was just awesome i can't understand the bad reviews. Yes this place might not be the most modern but that's basically what you get for a budget friendly inn. No bed bugs or gross creepy crawlys and that's all i really cared about. Can't wait to stay here again!

Yelp
We liked it here. Upon checking in the staff was very nice and gave plenty of information regarding the hotel. The lady at the front desk let me know that they had a complimentary continental breakfast and that there was access to the rooms via the elevator inside or the stairs from the outside(one set on each side of the building). We paid a little less than $80 for two nights which both were a Friday and Saturday. That being said for this being a budget friend hotel, it far exceeded my expectations. Was the hotel a bit dated and showed wear? Yes, but I expected that for the price. Me and my husband noticed some new paint stains on the fixtures and we did let the staff know before we left that we would recommend a deep clean to make everything shine and they let us know that they are renovating the hotel over time since they just came into ownership of it. Overall I would stay here again, no bugs were seen, breakfast was all carbs but it was filling enough to tide us over to lunch and it's got a mcdonalds within a minutes walk which is great coming back from the parks late night.

Yelp
Hotel is ok for the price. Outdated everything from outside to inside. Showers only that are spacious and remind me of bubble showers inside from the 70's. My small children do not like showers and a tub would have made life a lot easier. Beds are comfortable and ac will freeze you. Overall you get what you pay for.

Yelp
Hard to review this hotel with stars. They do not claim or pretend to be five stars. They are clean, quiet, friendly, honest and extremely fairly priced. So it is not five stars vs top notched luxury hotels, but a great value which goes a long way. Price even includes a simple breakfast buffet. Beware of a silly $3.50 "resort fee". Small enough to pay and not complain, but not expected after you bid a price on Priceline for a 2 star hotel. Worthy to mention here though.

Yelp
My husband I stayed here while on vacation for five nights. Let me start off by saying that the complimentary breakfast absolutely sucked. If you're like me and book hotels based off of the fact they have breakfast, I wouldn't recommend for you. They put out FROZEN EGGO WAFFLES to put in the toaster. They put out FROZEN PANCAKES to heat up in the microwave. They also have toast, bagels, cereal, and oatmeal. There isn't an actual waffle maker (which is my favorite part about staying in hotels.) There aren't any eggs or meats. So the breakfast is a little disappointing. We had a king size room, I thought that it was weird was that there was no bathtub. Just a shower. I wanted to be able to relax in the bath while on vacation, but just a stand up shower. So that was a bummer. The bed was comfortable though. The staff was attentive and sweet. The price for the hotel was great, especially for location. Just 30 minutes from Orlando and an hour or so from the popular beaches. They have have a McDonald's, a gas station, and a steak restaurant all within walking distance so that was pretty cool.

Yelp
A last minute decision to go to Disney and a credit with Groupon led me here. After pulling up to the hotel (you must first actually FIND the place behind the abandoned restaurant) wasn't sure what to expect. The front desk was busy -- what appeared to be the owner, as well as the woman working the front desk, and a guest (friend of the owner) who was doing IT work on the computers. I was told the systems were down and could not be checked in. Not a problem since they could still give me a room. I was checked in and headed upstairs to the room. Walking down the hall -- as other people have mentioned, it's worse than dated, I would use the term run down, the carpet is dirty in areas and all but gone in others, the walls look dirty and there was even an eviction notice on a door. I open the door and to my surprise there are other peoples belongings in the room! Now I'm nervous about the cleanliness and safety of my belongings. I went back downstairs and told them what happened, they apologized, I understand mistakes happen, but then the owner/manager started to get (I'll call it frazzled) and started reprimanding both the front desk clerk & the housekeeper who was standing there! Embarrassing, uncomfortable and unprofessional. We got the room sorted out and tried again. The room is -- not clean, not dirty per se. Mildew and possibly mold in the bathroom, along with a door that wouldn't close (called the front desk a few times, they never answered ... Decided it wasn't worth the bother). Ants everywhere. A fridge and no microwave but a toaster oven that I wouldn't use if my life depended on it. Everything was just ... Not clean. Pros -- bed wasn't too bad, rooms were quiet at night, free (albeit limited) breakfast, free bottles of water (great to take to the park!). Won't stay here again ... Not even for a good deal.

Yelp
Conclusion: will stay again. The places is dated. Definately needs some renovations. Commons areas especially. The rooms were clean. Beds very comfortable. Simple paint could make rooms a lot nicer in appearance. Bathrooms were not so pleasant. Mildew around shower heads. Wallpaper peeling off in bathrooms. Air conditioner was sporadic. No microwave in room but did have toaster oven. Did not partake in any amenities as we were there for disney. Continental breakfast was good as well. Enough to keep you filled up for a few hours so saves quite a bit of money having to avoid buying breakfast. As I said I will come back. The price is right but some very simple maintenance would make this place a lot nicer.

Yelp
My husband and I stay at this hotel every time we come to Orlando. It is extremely clean, the staff is very friendly, and the beds are super comfortable. Plus, they just did some small renovations- we LOVE the wood floors. Chuck is always welcoming and friendly. This is like our home away from home. And the FREE breakfast is perfect! It's a hidden gem. I highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Yelp
Basic hotel that you would find around theme parks. We had 2 queens in one room with a single cramped bathroom, but it's what is expected at these hotels. They provided some breakfast in the morning between 6-9am and had 2 washers and 2 dryers available on the second floor, each cycle lasting an hour if you pick the long wash. The laundry room has set hours and it closes at 8pm so plan accordingly. The area is surrounded by restaurants, gas stations, a super target and dollar store for all your necessities. It's a very simple and quiet place that provides a pool, but since our priority of the trip was theme parks, we had no time for the pool. Great place to stay for the price. I would go to this place again.

Yelp
I actually really enjoyed this hotel. You definitely can't beat the price or location. It was very small, quiet, clean and overall nice. The breakfast could of used some help but for $50 a night you get what you pay for. I would visit them again.

Yelp
I decided to stay at this hotel due to the location. I do not like to spend a lot of money on a hotel room I am barely in and this place was really well priced. Upon arriving, I was given my room early. We got to the room (two queen beds), and it was nice. This hotel is great if it is two adults. It was me, my husband and two kids. There was no closet. Even when I went to NY were hotel rooms are small, I had a closet. There was a small armoire. With the luggage in the way, it made us feel crammed (there was no were to store them since there was no closet). The bathroom has a shower instead of a tub. That was a bit of a problem because my little one is terrified of showers. Other than that the place was good. The front desk people are very nice and helpful. My only recommendation I would make to the hotel is they need to extend their breakfast to 10-10:30. I was on vacation so I shouldn't be expected to get breakfast by 9am. The bed and pillows were comfortable. For the price I can say it is well worth the stay.

Yelp
Breakfast was awful!!! Online they list hard boiled eggs, and assorted pastries... None of that. Also, it says tea selections, you had an option of black tea. THATS IT! No fruits, you just had to stuff yourself with carbs. My room blinds couldn't open or close. The coffee maker in the room was dirty and sticky. The remote doesn't have an off button so you literally have to get up while you're half asleep to turn it off. Will never come here again !!!!!

Yelp
Where do I begin with this nightmare of a hotel? I booked a room here through Orbitz and when I arrived in the broken down parking lot, behind an abandoned restaurant, I just knew it was not going to go well. Checked into the room which was a King size bed after walking through a worn out hallway where you could see the concrete peeking through the carpet. The bed took up the entire room, which was very outdated and somewhat dirty. The bathroom was not clean at all and did not even have a door that locked. Instead it had a sliding, "closet like" door. After being in the room for a little under an hour, we found bugs on the walls. We went to complain and check out and the front desk was very unhelpful and confused. They basically told me to just call Orbitz. I called Orbitz who then called the hotel, who refused to refund my first night's stay because I was in the room for an hour. Awful hotel, awful service. Avoid.

Yelp
for the price this us the best (cleanest) value hotel ive stayed on in orlando. shower is awesome, rooms are small but actually look clean. carpets could be replaced but eh

Yelp
It's an Ok place. Don't know why they charge a $3 resort fee. The room smelled, their wifi was horrible. The breakfast was cold and basically just frozen waffles & pancakes straight out of the box. The sheets had holes. If you are traveling with a baby or small toddler, they don't have a tub. I wouldn't stay here again.

Payal G.

Yelp
Too good for the price. I'd have happily expected atleast 60$ per night for these rooms. We were out all day and came back to find our room cleaned really well. There's Walgreens, 7-eleven, Logan's and Bahama Breeze within walking distance. No complaints here.

Vern E.

Yelp
What a great place for the price. It's a older building but they have done a nice job making sure the rooms have everything you need. And for those traveling on a budget don't be scared by the lower price. Everything was clean and well maintained with a great attentive staff. I'd have given 5 stars but the continental breakfast had a lot to be desired but cheap breakfast buffets line the street.

Yelp
This was a last minute weekend trip to the disney parks, and got this outrageous deal through a mystery deal online. For the price, really all I expected were clean and comfy beds. Not bad at all. Beds were comfortable and clean. Looking to sleep there only anyway.

Andrea S.

Yelp
This was a really good deal. Close to Disney parks for convenience along with food and shopping nearby. The hotel is dated, but had no complaint of cleanliness. Our bed was extremely comfortable! All the staff was EXCELLENT. Friendly and very helpful with any question we had. Would recommend the pool area be kept up a little better, very tall grass doesn't look very welcoming.. and the breakfast. It was very limited, but not everywhere even offers breakfast so it wasn't a big deal to us. All in all we were happy with our stay.
