Stunning waterfall. Nice path to get to all the viewing points. Some of them are a bit rocky and some rocky steps but nothing difficult or dangerous. Can do it in sliders. Big parking lot where it's free to park and there are free toilets to use. There's a little food stand which sells soup. You could easily spend a couple of hours walking to the 2 waterfalls.

It is necessary to take a short route to reach the waterfall that can be seen from different points. The waterfall is impressive and with a great flow of water. IMPORTANT: In June several areas were closed to the public due to landslides Parking costs 7 euros.

Really beautiful and big waterfall! Definitely worth a visit. A bit of a walk (10-15 minutes) to get to the viewpoints but it was a simple (somewhat rocky) hike.

Incredible waterfall, a sight to see and hear. Do note though, it is a bit of a walk through rocks and uneven ground to reach it

An absolutely spectacular waterfall. With ample parking, public portable toilets, and a very short walk, this waterfall has to be on your must do list.

Free parking. Must see this most powerful waterfall on Iceland. Unfortunately east side route 864 was impassable to the snow on late April. Majestic scenery for sure.

I got afraid after reading the reviews but today- April 16 2025 - we drove till the entrance of the park- no dirty roads or anything. I read id need a jeep or truck but we had a small suv. The road was full of ice, obviously but we made it. Bring crampons to your shoes- ice is very slippery! There is one trail to your left which is 500m and the most beautiful one and then another to the left which is 700 meters- also beautiful When we drove back around 5pm, police was about to close the road and will only reopen the next day Majestic waterfall as everything in Iceland 🇮🇸

Very nice big waterfalls here. There is also a food stand which sells meat and soup. Free parking lot access. A small walk from the parking lot to the falls.
