Devassa

Nice place on Avenida Atlantica. We ate a delicious feijoada there. The waiters were very kind and helped us a lot to decide what to eat and how many servings we should order. It is well decorated and the background music makes you feel you really are in Rio. However, it lacks air conditioning something which is absolutely necessary in summer. All in all, I recommend it but make sure you sit at the tables outside.

Well. Ordered a chicken breast with tomato and basil sauce. Although the chicken was prepared some hours ago the sauce made it much better. Portion was huge. Price range fits to copacabana's average. WiFi was ok. Waiter did his task but didn't put much attention on guest and talked to his friend while I was ordering. Could pay by Visa which was a pro since we didn't have any cash. The ordered medium beer (300ml) seemed much more smaller and I couldn't judge if I was scammed or not. Tip could not be paid by card so the waiter changed his attitude and started cleaning the table next to me. He swept the sand onto my leg.

Very disappointed when its come to offer one of the most famous brazilian dishes "Feijoada" Out of Ipanema beach my partner and I went to the place that years ago was the prestigious restaurante Cabral 1500 wich used to offer one of the most delicious feijoada and sadly found that was out of business and now occupied by Devassa choperia we saw the outdoor offering Feijoada and decided to try it. What a tremendous disappointment when was served The savoured toucinho were brought has a fake pork skin the same sold at any latin quick market... Asked to the managment what a lack of customer service saying not everyone like it toucinho Secondly every one knows that feijoada its made of succulent pork meats well sesoned and simmered Their feijoada was worst then a prison food missing all normal ingridients and the major meat found was Tajado (carne seca) far to be a pork meat... The service worst then a corner bar that has more drunkers than alcool Lastly to be a Cervejaria better off to be set at one of the nicelly Barracas in the sand beach

Nice and light caipirinha with a great view of the Copacabana beach. Prices are a bit higher than a beach kiosk but much better.

The best craft beer ever!
