This is a near 5 star review. This is a cultural institution for Turkish food. Surrender yourself to the master servers that are pros. We had a delightful and delicious dinner - beware you might be stuffed by the time you leave - all the great food we just couldn’t pass. Make reservations do you can get a great view of the marina and sunset. It is a very popular location. This particular spot specializes in meat based dishes. There are so many fantastic dishes go hungry and don’t fill up on bread and meze dishes (cold appetizers) so you can eat. There is a terrace and indoor space. We enjoyed the terrace, esp for watching the sunset with our dinner. Take your time eating, this is not a rush job. They won’t rush you either, people sit and eat for hours, it’s a cultural thing. This is not a quick meal and go type of place. If you want to avoid cigarette smoke let them know so they can sit you properly. If you drive there is a valet service too. Can’t wait to return and eat here again!

It is an authentic Turkish restaurant with a decor that seems to be a few decades old. The restaurant is located inside the Kalamiș Marina area, so almost 100 steps to street where you get on or off the taxi. The restaurant lacked signs facing the street so I had to get off the taxi and ask someone at the gate to the Marina before paying the taxi. The staff are pushy and want to serve appetizers at all costs, which I refused at the beginning. They were also careless when serving water and poured some from a distance so they accidentally spilled water on the table. It seemed like they were in a hurry. I don't think the restaurant lives up to 4 stars especially when it comes to service and taste. The only positive is that it is located by the water. Bottomline: not price worthy at all.

I like the atmosphere, the staff were so nice, the service was perfect. I like the meze and humus. The hot bread is amazing But I don't like the kebab. It smells bad a little and not to soft. And I don't recommended kenafe

Some meals in the minue are not available to be served!!! Why they had long minue; but some meals not available??!! The glass I had on my table was not 100% clean. Finally, I asked for desert after finishing my meal, they also apologised for not having it available, although it was mentioned in the minue!! Prices were good considering the quality of food and service.

Very nice fish restaurant in Fenerbahce Marina. Good selection of meze and also a veri nice selection of fresh fish and wines! Now is our second time vere and we will definitely come again other times! I recommend you aubergine salad, shrimp-avocado meze and grilled sea-bass...

One of the finest kebabs you can have any where.The service was awesome.The salad and the kebabs were just out of the world.They do serve beer and other alcoholic drinks.The side dishes were good too.Enjoyed.

Horrible customer service and food. I got norovirus after eating here Friday night. Had to miss my flight back to SF and restaurant stuff didn't care at all. This cost me around 3 thousand turkish liras including my new flight ticket, and the hospital cost... Don't go here. You will regret it.... 17 Haziran cuma günü kalamış develide iftar yemeğinden sonra sabaha karşı çok kötü bir şekilde ishal, ateş ve kusma başladı. Sabah Amerikaya olan uçağımı kaçırdım ve biletim yandı. Derslerime 3 gün geç kaldım ve toplamda 15 ünite serum yedim. Besin zehirlenmesi ve virüs olduğu kan ve dışkı testleriyle kanıtlandı. Fakat Develi çalışanları oldukça ilgisiz ve alakasızlardı. İletişime geçmek oldukça zor oldu ve yaklaşık 3 bin TL'ye yakın uçak biletim dahil bir masraf çıktı bana 2 gün içinde. Cidden ailecek hem maddi ve hem manevi olarak etkilendik. Bundan sonra da Develi ye bir saha adım atmamayı düşünüyoruz ve bütün tanıdıklarımıza bu işletmeye gitmemeleri gerektiğini söylüyoruz. Çok kötü müşteri servisi ve yemek kalitesiz.

I will start saying that food is not bad here. I would give them 3.5 star for food. The reason I gave them 1 star is because of their dishonesty. prices in their menu and prices on the bill they brought us were different. they added 15-20 Turkish lira to every item. when I asked them they said it is from hotel menu and they couldn't explain what is hotel menu and why we weren't given that or told about it. anyway, dishonest and sneaky way to treat customers... check your bill before you pay

Develi is a serious kebab chain in Istanbul. It is a bit overpriced but usually has high quality kebabs. This location at Kalamış Marina is usually very crowded and the service can be patchy depending on how crowded the restaurant is. The original location in Samatya is much better and authentic.

You want to have a treat with high quality food, in an amazing environment, this is your place. The humus is to die for. All the meat dishes are great. You want to go there and take your time, enjoy the people and the view. The only thing I do not like is the cats that are rooming around.

It does have the best kebab, very attentive waiters and cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I used to love this place a couple years ago but I don't think I was this good a kebap gourmet back then. If you are very close or want to eat close to the sea in Kalamis Marin, Develi might be a good option. The kebap is not very expensive, nor is it very cheap, so is the taste. It is not very good but it still is a good option.
