This beautiful winery & view spot is simply stunning & a "must stop". We were driving & didn't want to taste wine but we couldn't resist the salmon pate with warm crunchy bread $22 & apple cider. The seafood all looked fabulous & well presented and well priced.

Dining Experience @ Devil's Corner Cellar Door. . Unveiled at their new site overlooking the Moulting Lagoon and The Hazards mountain range in December 2015, the Devil's Corner Cellar Door is a cleverly curated attraction, featuring a discrete cellar door, a food and wine market, a cafe, lounge, and unique lookout. The picturesque Devil's Corner Cellar Door is designed to echo the region's traditional rural settlements. . Love the Mulled Wine (AUD $14), which was smooth and rich, served warm, carrying deep fruity sour earthy sweet spice flavour. . I adore the scenic landscape here, just love to sit on the benches and look out into the distance. And have a wine glass in hand.

We did a lovely self paced tasting here yesterday. The site was packed on a Sunday afternoon over Christmas but all added to the relaxed vibe. Even though they were flat out the staff were gratuitous and welcoming. Seafood platters and pizzas on site means it’s a busy lunch stop for anyone passing through. One of those large family wineries that caters to everyone’s needs. Oysters were 😋 🦪

Came here for wine tasting. The tasting paddle is overpriced considering the pour is quite miserable. One sip and that’s all. The oysters were barely average. Only stayed here for 10 minutes to finish up the drinks and food. The establishment is fancy-looking but there’s no such thing as customer experience here. Wines sold at the cellar door are more expensive than that in the bottle-o near my accommodation. The view is pretty nice though.

Come for the wine, stay for the food and view. Devils Corner was a planned stop on this trip and it was really worth it. The carpark is large and inviting but I am guessing a busy summer weekend may test it's limits. The architecture of the buildings is really good and the view from the tower is pretty good. The wine is what you stop for and the testing paddle was very popular with get a feel for all the best options. I had pizza and the "smoked" was really good. Plan to give yourself time here as a rest after driving the crazy bad east coast road.

Great views. The wine tasting was just okay. You had to use a QR code to get taating notes as no details were provided by the staff. Overall, the wines weren't that great.

An awesome location, great for dining in or a picnic. Grab a wine, some oysters or a pizza - there's something for everyone. The pick for me is the view and the oysters, add a Resolution Chardonay and you're set. Plenty of room for the kids to run around while you enjoy a little of nature's nectar. We'll worth a stop.

I’ve read a few reviews saying this place is too touristy etc. It’s a nonsense, it’s a beautiful, well-run place with an amazing view. Yes, more expensive than your rundown wooden shack winery (12-15AUD for a glass), but you won’t regret it.

Yelp
Tasmania's stunning east coast is worth a visit, specially, Devil's Corner Cellar Door. It's a trifecta of wine, pizza, and oysters, all served with a side of breathtaking views. Let's start with the oysters--oh my goodness. These were so good. I got them with ponzu sauce. Pair them with a crisp glass of Devil's Corner Sauvignon Blanc or Riesling, and you've got a match made in heaven. Yum!

Yelp
A nice small winery located on the eastern side of Tasmania. We stopped in on the recommendation of a local on our drive up to Freycinet Park from Hobart. In addition to the winery and cellar door, it also has aa shady courtyard where you can enjoy so oysters and another the stand selling pizza so you could pop in for lunch. The cellar door tasting room is medium sized but with an amazing sloping view down to the bay. Their tasting program is pretty informal, no set procedure, but they'll let you taste several of their nice wines for free. I enjoyed another Tassie sparkler (so many nice ones here) and their Sauv blanc and pinots were also quite nice. I ended up buying a bottle of the reserve Pinot ($AUD 65). There also is a lookout tower one can climb but as it was raining, we skipped that. Definitely worth a short visit.

Yelp
Devil's Corner was our second and last winery of the day. It's a more commercialized spot and very, very popular. We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon (around 1:30pm). There's a cool lookout point that you can walk up a few stairs for (it's beside the parking lot). Once you get into the main area, there's a wooden pizza spot, oyster's and fish & chips and then of course, wine tasting. They even had live music while we were there. Wine tastings are complimentary and you can sample as many as you want (8 whites and 2 reds). We ended up trying four whites. Service is friendly but busy. - NV sparkling cuvee - PIRIE NV sparkling cuvee - Pinot grigio - we haven't seen many grigio's so we had to try this one. - Resolution pinot gris We weren't impressed with any of the wines. Not bad but they tasted produced for the masses. I will say their labelling is on point. Wouldn't be our first choice to go for wineries but if you want views, this is the spot.

Yelp
This is an incredible spot with a nice food bar called fishers run by the folks who own the marine farm down the road. It also has an incredible view of the water and even a nice lookout. We just loved the way the tasting room has just an awesome view of the bay. This vineyard is best known for their white wines. We liked their Sauvignon blanc and they also do a nice Chardonnay. Like most vineyards we encountered in Tas there isn't a tasting fee which is super nice.

Yelp
Stopped in on our drive from Hobart to our hotel near Freycinet for a quick tasting and lunch at the pizza place. Unfortunately, the weather was terrible - cold and rainy, but we had a nice tasting and purchased some wine to take with us on the remainder of our trip in Tasmania. We got 2 pizzas - the spicy cotton was good but the Margherita was average. Still a good spot and I'd recommend it if you're in the area. Everyone that works here is so pleasant and all have smiles on their faces!

Yelp
This is a remarkable public/private partnership as there seems to be an office for Tasmania's East Coast, a seafood shack, a wood-fired pizza place, and Devil's Corner's cellar door, all set against a magnificent view of Freycinet. DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE. Stop and enjoy it. Tastings and views are free.
