What an amazing experience at Devils Corner Cellar Door! We popped in for lunch and a wine tasting, and honestly, it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The moment we arrived, we were met with the most gorgeous views - the kind that make you instantly slow down, relax, and just soak it all in. The atmosphere is lively, warm, and full of that coastal Tasmanian charm. Lunch was absolutely delicious. Every dish was fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavour, and you can really taste the care that goes into the food. It paired perfectly with the wines we tried, which made the whole experience feel like the ultimate long-lunch treat. The wine tasting itself was fantastic. The staff were friendly, bubbly, and full of great energy - happy to share stories, answer questions, and guide us through the wines without ever making it feel rushed or too formal. We loved discovering new favourites and ended up leaving with a few bottles because we just couldn’t resist! Overall, Devils Corner Cellar Door is one of those places that hits all the right notes: stunning views, great food, beautiful wines, and a team that makes you feel genuinely welcome. If you're anywhere nearby, do yourself a favour and stop in - it’s a must-visit. 🍷✨

If you want amazing wine, food and views, this is the place for you. Highly recommend the tasting paddle and making your own cheese board! Bonus points for having fresh seafood available and a great selection of indoor and outdoor seating. 10/10.

Arrived at 4 PM, but the kitchen was already closed and the staff were actively sweeping. At the bar, no food or snack options were offered with my tasting, and no water was provided. The whole operation felt rushed and disconnected, even though they close at 5 PM. Very disappointing experience.

Wine was great, food was delicious and reasonably priced and the views were amazing. Be aware the kitchen closes quite early so worth double checking its open before you go.

As far as your eyes can see. What an achievement for the amazing staff and owners of this place. Fields and fields of produces, shelves full of products. Taste testing 👌 😋 🤪 amazing. All sorts of people visiting, young middle age and older. This place is for everyone. The lookout is spectacular 😍 👌 ✨️ Great customer service. Great facilities very clean.

We had such an incredible time here! As with everywhere in this region the views are stunning. Time your visit for a sunny day and soak it all in sitting outside. Highly recommend a guided wine tasting, there’s so much to learn and the team are delightful. On top of that the seafood from the restaurant is the best we’ve had in our Tasmania travels so far. We’ll be back for sure!

The venue itself looked stunning, and on arrival we excitedly walked up to the lookout before heading inside. Unfortunately, due to the time of year, wine tastings weren’t available, but it was unclear what was being offered in their place. The pizza section was closed, and the food service window kept shutting, which made it difficult to tell whether food service was still operating at all. While we understand it’s a busy time of year, the overall experience felt disappointing given the venue and its incredible location. The first staff member we spoke with directed us to another bar without much explanation, which wasn’t particularly welcoming. Thankfully, the second server was more helpful and took the time to assist us in choosing a wine, which helped salvage the visit somewhat. We came prepared to spend money on wine and food, and ended up getting a take away and leaving quickly instead.

Good stop along the east coast for a snack and some drinks. Beautiful view, decent wine and good pizza - oysters are a little disappointing though. All in all would recommend coming here ☺️

Yelp
Tasmania's stunning east coast is worth a visit, specially, Devil's Corner Cellar Door. It's a trifecta of wine, pizza, and oysters, all served with a side of breathtaking views. Let's start with the oysters--oh my goodness. These were so good. I got them with ponzu sauce. Pair them with a crisp glass of Devil's Corner Sauvignon Blanc or Riesling, and you've got a match made in heaven. Yum!

Yelp
A nice small winery located on the eastern side of Tasmania. We stopped in on the recommendation of a local on our drive up to Freycinet Park from Hobart. In addition to the winery and cellar door, it also has aa shady courtyard where you can enjoy so oysters and another the stand selling pizza so you could pop in for lunch. The cellar door tasting room is medium sized but with an amazing sloping view down to the bay. Their tasting program is pretty informal, no set procedure, but they'll let you taste several of their nice wines for free. I enjoyed another Tassie sparkler (so many nice ones here) and their Sauv blanc and pinots were also quite nice. I ended up buying a bottle of the reserve Pinot ($AUD 65). There also is a lookout tower one can climb but as it was raining, we skipped that. Definitely worth a short visit.

Yelp
Devil's Corner was our second and last winery of the day. It's a more commercialized spot and very, very popular. We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon (around 1:30pm). There's a cool lookout point that you can walk up a few stairs for (it's beside the parking lot). Once you get into the main area, there's a wooden pizza spot, oyster's and fish & chips and then of course, wine tasting. They even had live music while we were there. Wine tastings are complimentary and you can sample as many as you want (8 whites and 2 reds). We ended up trying four whites. Service is friendly but busy. - NV sparkling cuvee - PIRIE NV sparkling cuvee - Pinot grigio - we haven't seen many grigio's so we had to try this one. - Resolution pinot gris We weren't impressed with any of the wines. Not bad but they tasted produced for the masses. I will say their labelling is on point. Wouldn't be our first choice to go for wineries but if you want views, this is the spot.

Yelp
This is an incredible spot with a nice food bar called fishers run by the folks who own the marine farm down the road. It also has an incredible view of the water and even a nice lookout. We just loved the way the tasting room has just an awesome view of the bay. This vineyard is best known for their white wines. We liked their Sauvignon blanc and they also do a nice Chardonnay. Like most vineyards we encountered in Tas there isn't a tasting fee which is super nice.

Yelp
Stopped in on our drive from Hobart to our hotel near Freycinet for a quick tasting and lunch at the pizza place. Unfortunately, the weather was terrible - cold and rainy, but we had a nice tasting and purchased some wine to take with us on the remainder of our trip in Tasmania. We got 2 pizzas - the spicy cotton was good but the Margherita was average. Still a good spot and I'd recommend it if you're in the area. Everyone that works here is so pleasant and all have smiles on their faces!

Yelp
This is a remarkable public/private partnership as there seems to be an office for Tasmania's East Coast, a seafood shack, a wood-fired pizza place, and Devil's Corner's cellar door, all set against a magnificent view of Freycinet. DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE. Stop and enjoy it. Tastings and views are free.
