25 Best Things to Do in Bermuda | Condé Nast Traveler

"If you didn’t know any better, you might think you’d just wandered into a trendy Brooklyn hotspot , what with Devil's Isle's cozy sidewalk seating, hanging Edison bulbs, exposed metal ducts, and rough-hewn high-top tables meant for communal dining. Its lineup of wholesome dishes—think, a Nourish Bowl, overflowing with local leafy greens, fermented fennel, grilled zucchini, and coconut oil–roasted beets, and local catch from Bermuda—is largely sourced from local farmers. This is no small feat, as farm-to-table restaurants aren't easily accomplished in remote Bermuda." - Katherine Cusumano

I went to Devil's Isle with my family last week and we had the BEST experience - top to bottom. The food was delicious, and we had an array of diners with different preferences and restrictions - all of whom were very happy. My father said the fresh pasta with shellfish was one of the best seafood pasta dishes he ever had, and my mom said her monkfish special was the best dish she had while we were in Bermuda (and we went to many top-level restaurants!) The cocktails were beautiful and well-crafted, and most importantly - the service was warm, genuine, attentive and kind. The atmosphere was beautiful - cozy, well-decorated, and perfectly lit. We were pleasantly surprised by this high-level dining experience. We highly recommend Devil's Isle for anyone looking for a great culinary experience dining in Hamilton! My only regret: I didn't get a chance to go back to try the cafe in the morning!

I'm glad we found this place last night in Bermuda 🇧🇲. Wow, what an amazing experience!!! The food, the service, and the atmosphere are all amazing. Don't hesitate to try and experience delicious food. Wish we could've had a chance to try their breakfast or lunch, I'm sure, just as amazing. Having owned multiple restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and a nightclub for over 20 years, I'm impressed!! I believe our lovely servers' name was Giana!!!!! But the entire staff was great. Don't skip on dessert either.....

We ate here twice on our trip, once was take out and the other was dining in. Both times the food was equally as good! Would eat there again and again. The outdoor patio was also a great atmosphere.

Despite the good reviews food was rather average. The burger I had was overcooked and dry. Staff are friendly but there seems to be shortage in staff compared to number of diners. They don’t do their juices for dinner service.

What a cute place! Cocktails are amazing and made with care. Kai took care of us and he was great! The food was so tasty and delicious. Will absolutely return.

I recently returned to Devil’s Isle Café for a working lunch with colleagues, following an excellent breakfast experience earlier in the week. That initial visit featured perfectly prepared eggs and toast complemented by an outstanding brewed coffee—enough to prompt a repeat visit. For our lunch, we opted for the patio. Our server—a courteous Filipina on a six-month Bermuda placement—set an exemplary standard of hospitality. She engaged in considerate conversation, suggested notable sightseeing opportunities for the remainder of our trip, and ensured we felt genuinely welcome. The menu delivered on every front. I chose the shrimp salad, which combined grilled shrimp with couscous and fresh greens—a refreshing yet savoury dish that demonstrated clear attention to flavor balance and presentation. An iced mocha provided a suitably refreshing accompaniment on a warm afternoon. From the attentive, personable service to the well-executed cuisine, Devil’s Isle Café consistently meets the expectations of business travelers seeking quality dining and reliable service. I will certainly schedule future client and team meals here and can recommend the establishment to both local professionals and visiting colleagues.

We had breakfast here on the last morning of our vacation. The vanilla latte I ordered was delicious. My husband ordered a London Fog and he said it was decent. The Portuguese omelets we ordered were supposed to be 3 Egg omelets but they looked really small and did not have any seasoning. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant is conveniently located in downtown Hamilton.

We stopped in for cocktails at the bar and they didn't disappoint! The Negroni was absolutely phenomenal. The Rhubarb Collins was also great. The service from the bartender could have been better, but it was fine. He served us and answered our questions. He just wasn't very friendly or interested in talking to us. Can't wait to go back and try their food and more cocktails. Love the style/atmosphere and their menus.
