Just the place to have a feel on how mighty nature is. Be prepared because there’s no chance you won’t come out dry, despite wearing a rain poncho or not. The views are incredible, although in winter the water flow is bigger so there’s less sight of some of the falls because of the mist.

Victoria Falls is a park you can enter. You can just visit the park, you don’t have to pay for any specific activity or tour - you can enter and walk around yourself. I entered the park on the Zambian side. The Zambja side entrance fee is cheaper than Zimbabwe. In Zambia it is 20 USD and in Zimbabwe it is 100 USD to enter for 1 foreign person. I only entered the Zambian side park and the border bridge. The Zambian side is beautiful and definitely worth the trip. There are many pathways to take within the park. These pathways take you close to the falls itself. You can bring your own food and drink into the park. There are bathroom facilities at the park. Park staff are very kind and will personally guide you to any place you need to be. You will buy tickets at the entrance and show them to park staff upon entrance. You will sign the book when you enter. One certain nights a year, there is a Lunar Rainbow special event where the park remains open after 6pm. It is a separate ticket to purchase, and you can remain there until midnight. Do your research on the date and times, but it’s best to go during true day before, during, and after a full moon in June, July, and August. Be prepared to get wet at the park, especially walking along Knife’s Edge Bridge as mist rains down.

This is very beautiful waterfall and highly recommend to fly in helicopter to see the view. Also recommend to go over til Zambia and see the Victoriafalls from the other side and walk over the bridge back where all the people and trucks drive.

The views were Amazing. We had a great tour guide who explained many different perspectives. Remember your raincoat and waterproof footware.

It's one of the natural wonders of the world for a reason. Stunning and magnificent. I highly recommend the Zimbabwe side, since it has the better vantage points overall. The Zambia side gives you a complimentary view, so seeing both is not a bad thing, but do Zimbabwe if you have to choose one. I can also recommend going to Livingstone Island on the Zambia side as well, for an experience at the top of the falls that you will never forget.

Victoria Falls (Zambian Side) — Simply Breathtaking From the thunder of the falls to the calm of the Zambezi sunset, every moment is unforgettable. The views are raw, powerful, and peaceful all at once. A must-visit — whether you're local or international.

This place was incredible. I went just before the rainy season began so the water wasn’t rushing as much as I’d like to have seen it, but walking along it was surreal. Definitely need to view it from Zambia and Zimbabwe to get the full experience.

Victoria Falls "The Smoke That Thunders" is a waterfall on the Zambezi River in southern Africa, which provides habitat for several unique species of plants and animals. It is located on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It is neither tallest nor the widest waterfall in the world, but it is the largest by vertical area. At 1,708 m wide and 108 m high, it creates a sheet of falling water with an area of around 184,400 sq. m.
