One of the most awe inspiring experiences. No matter how many times we visit, it remains a unique and impressive feeling to see all that water thunder down. If you visit the Zambian side, make sure to go early in the morning so you get to see the beautiful rainbow.

A tremendous natural wonder. Even with a reduced waterfall it is spectacular. Good walking shoes are needed. There are uneven and sometimes wet stairs and footpaths. To get to the end and look across to Zimbabwe from Zambia there is a narrow metal bridge.

The walking path is super easy and a nice change from sitting in a safari truck for so many days. The waterfall was beautiful and had so many great lookout points. We went in mid September and were able to see the other side and all the way down!

Absolutely breath taking, considered to be one of the seven natural wonders AND one of the largest waterfalls in the world. We viewed the falls from Zambia side.. stunning and not too much over spray which ment that we could enjoy its beauty so much more clearly. The Boiling Pot was amazing and worth the 629 steps down the gorge... where you can see people Bungee off the bridge and white water rating. A must see destination.

Such an amazing place! The views of the waterfall are a lifetime memory that you won't want to miss. We also did the trek down to the boiling pot which was disappointing as there was nothing there except you're just on the side of the river. No boiling pot. And it's very difficult with constant steps down for about 15 minutes and then coming back up the same, slippery steps of uneven rocks. Not too bad for a healthy person but if you have any mobility challenges you should not attempt the stairs. There are also a lot of baboons along the stairs to greet you which are harmless as long as you don't tempt them with any food or shiny objects or try to pet them. We did not hire a guide for the waterfall and it was definitely not necessary. You can walk and see everything following the trail on your own. Unless you prefer to have someone to give you information and history but it's not necessaryin order to have the same excellent viewing experience. Definitely recommend to spend $2 and get a rain poncho upon entry to the waterfall trail. Entrance into the national park for the waterfall is $20 USD per person.

Absolutely breathtaking. Has a stone pathway and shaded with trees. Lots of different angles to see the falls. Lovely photo ops. Very hot, so carry lots of water and a handheld fan and dress cool.

Unbelievable, amazing, one of the 7 wonders of the world. The park on the Zimbabwe side is well worth the entrance fee of $50 USD. There are lots of viewing points and around 2 thirds of the falls can be seen from this side. Be prepared to get very wet from the spray in some places. Take a rucksack cover and dry bag for specific items you won't want to get wet like a mobile phone or camera. You won't need a raincoat as you'll soon dry in the heat. There's a nice café on site and souvenir shops just inside the entrance as well as boards explaining the geology and geography, as well as the dimensions of the falls in comparison to Niagra and the falls in Brazil. There's also a bit of history of the people linked to the falls. You'll find a huge monument of David Livingston near the first lookout point. To finish off, take a helicopter ride around the falls. It truly is spectacular. The walk to the bridge is well worth it to see the spectacular gorge and people bungee jumping.

Incredible! Must see. Go during the dry season for best viewing. It's less water over the falls but that allows the best visibility. While there book a helicopter with Flight of Angels to see the falls from above.
