Dexameni Outdoor Cinema

Another great open-air cinema not far from where I live in Athens. Situated in the posh area of Kolonaki in Athens. It sits right above an ancient Roman cistern. There's also a great bar restaurant right next to it and as you leave the cinema spectacular views of the ancient Acropolis and Parthenon.

Oper air cinema in an amazing location in the heart of Athens. A "must" choice for a summer night and one of the best places for families and tourists to visit in Athens! The stuff is very kind, friendly and helpful!

Such a cool experience! We loved being able to watch a movie outside with popcorn and beer. Also enjoyed the intermission, made it feel more old school and gave me a chance to buy another beer :) Expect a little bit of noise from the nearby park but it’s part of the magic. Arrive early to get your tickets and a seat with a table.

Very nice experience. Bring moskito spray. Chairs are not that comfortable. Tickets are sold from about 1 hour before the show.

Perhaps my favorite open air cinema in Athens, in one of my favorite spots in Athens. Dexami square is the middle of some small Athenian buildings of the early 20th century, and it offers a spectacular view to the Acropolis. On the broad steps leading to Dexameni square, a small place serves coffee and drinks. Do not miss the opportunity to watch a film at Daxameni outdoor cinema and experience Athens at its best!

Very nice summer cinema in the center of Athens.

An open air cinema with a twist (sits on top of a 2000 year old Roman cistern). Worth a visit.

When I hear the word "outdoor summer cinema" my mind goes to three places. Dexameni is one of them. Positioned at the foot of Lycabettus, next to a Roman water tank, is a must see place for all Athenians and visitors.
