The restaurant is so unique and beautiful. We heard a guest was talking to a waiter. The guest was there 35 years ago and nothing has changed. The waiter works there for 41 years and nothing has changed. If the food was always this delicious here, then that’s truly impressive! Little bit pricey, but worth it. (Gluten free)

I love this restaurant for its lush decor, high quality of food, aromatic flavors, spiced meats, and innovative dishes. , Simply put, the garlic naan and balti meat is so damn good, it hurts. And given the massive size of the naan and curry portions, it’s incredibly easy to over-indulge, which has pretty much happened on every occasion I’ve eaten here. But I’ll say it again…oh my god, that naan!

A Punjabi restaurant in Hotel Claridges. Lovely ambience, traditional Indian music in the background and food was good. We had tandoori chicken and fish as starters, which always felt like mains, until the mains come. Naan was yums, especially the garlic one. Butter chicken is a staple for foreigners like us and it was good for me. The mashed spinach with corn was surprisingly good and the only non-spicy dish tonight. They also serve you a small bowl (bathtub shaped) of warm water with a quarter lime to wash your hands. Overall, a good local meal.

I recently visited Dhaba at The Claridges, Delhi, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The moment you step in, the vibrant décor and rustic truck-art theme instantly transport you to a traditional Punjabi highway dhaba – but with a classy touch. The food was simply outstanding – rich, flavourful , and perfectly spiced. The Makhni Paneer & Dal Dhaba were to die for, and the freshly made Tandoori Rotis were the perfect accompaniment. The portions were generous, and everything tasted authentic. The staff was warm, attentive, and made sure we had a great time. Specially Mr.Bharat & Mr.Shakti were brilliant. They even suggested a few signature dishes which turned out to be the highlight of the evening. Whether you’re looking for comfort food, authentic North Indian flavors, or just a cozy place with great vibes, Dhaba at The Claridges is a must-visit. Highly recommended for family dinners, casual outings, or even a special occasion. Would definitely come back again – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ experience!

I revisited Dhaba at The Claridges, New Delhi after nearly 30 years, foolishly expecting nostalgia, quality, and charm. What I got instead was a crash course in how to destroy a legendary restaurant one dish at a time. The food was a disaster of epic proportions: Paneer Tikka – So flavourless it could win an award for “Most Unseasoned Dish of the Year.” Marination? Apparently that’s a luxury they no longer believe in. Mutton Seekh Kebab – An assault of spices so aggressive that it felt like they were trying to erase every trace of actual kebab. I’m convinced the spices saw the meat and said, “Move, we’ll take it from here.” Butter Chicken – A confused sweet tomato dessert with chicken floating inside. Zero flavour. Zero balance. Zero effort. And the best part? They proudly admitted they’re using lamb instead of goat, and the smell proves it. Their solution? Smother the meat in enough masala to stage a volcanic eruption. Your stomach won’t just burn — it will question every life decision that led you to this meal. To cover up the culinary catastrophe, they offered a complimentary bowl of Rabri, which was genuinely excellent — almost like the kitchen realised, “We ruined everything else, let’s at least send them off with something edible.” Dhaba has completely lost its identity. Nothing iconic remains. If you enjoy wasting money, punishing your digestive system, and walking out wondering “Why did I do this to myself?” — then this is absolutely the place for you. ~ Chef Aj

Simply amazing food and service at the Dhabha. Came here for the first and bharat the server made our experience super great. We had keema mutton and daal makhni. Quantity wise one dish is good for 3 people. Highly recommended and make reservations.

Very average food quality and service. Wrong orders served. Food too oily. Service totally nonchalant. Forgot finger bowls….list is endless! What a waste of good location and decor!

Revisited Dhaba after 20-25 years. The ambience looks the same. The Dal makhani is still as tasty as it was The kokam drink was great. The vegetarian options were limited. There was no healthy options like salads etc
