Dhawa Ihuru

We've just returned after 8 days spent on this beautiful island. I don't find anything negative to say. The manager was very friendly and explained the resort's activities, always available to our requests. The structure is very beautiful and well-maintained, the rooms are large and always clean. We had a great meal, all the staff were professional, attentive to the customer, always available and smiling. The coral reef is really beautiful and rich of all kind of fish (parrotfish, turtles, pufferfish, clownfish, Surgeonfish, shark....) Thank you Dhawa Ihuru for welcoming and pampering us, a wonderful vacation. I highly recommend this island and hope to return soon.

Very excited trip. People here are very nice and friendly, especially Holly, which gives us a lot of guidance and help. She can speak Chinese and English. The snorkeling experience here is great! We saw lots of interesting fish and sea animals. Hope can visit here here again.

When it comes to spending a relaxing holiday, Dhawa Ihuru has been the best experience i have had so far. The white sandy beaches, the turquoise blue sees surrounding the island, the warm and welcoming smiles we received throughout our stay has made my heart melt. The services we received from all the staffs has been amazing. We met Adam in the Airport and he made sure we had no trouble finding the speed boat that was going to take us to Dhawa Ihuru. He engaged with us so that we wouldnt get bored by the time the speed boat arrived. We were welcomed by Simaad and Habeeb who were amazing and made sure we were well taken care of. They made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We went to a tour of the island with Rohan and he made sure we were thorough with the island and answered every question we had regarding the resort or any place in the resort. when it came to our waiters and waitress, Husham, Annie and Maaniu did a great job. They gave us great recommendations that did not dissapoint us. The bartender, pradeep, Don and Afraah made us amazing drinks and answered every question we had and made sure we were comfortable at the bar whenever we went for a drink. The villa we stayed in was kept very clean by shareef and had assisted us when we needed anything for the room. Overall our stay in Dhawa Ihuru has been nothing but amazing and im glad i chose this place. I will be going home with so many happy memories from this place. A huge thanks to all the staffs who made my trip so amazing.

Great resort to escape from it all . The villas are great with all of them opening up to the beach less than 5m away and your own private beach and deck chairs . The water is crystal clear and blueish with great coral surrounding the island though when we went , the currents could be a little strong . Great place for coral viewing and you need not pay for snorkel rental . ||We took the all inclusive package so we need not worry about what to eat and the boat transfer was top notch . The staff were great , welcoming and made us feel good . The gym was pretty good as well.||If there was any issues , I would mention that the resort looked like it was built in the 1990s with the decor . Also we stayed at the jacuzzi villa but the jacuzzi was faulty with the pump not working , the water kept draining and the jet faulty . We paid a few hundred more for this villa but ended up having a tub bath only without the jacuzzi . ||Food can be repetitive but it is adequate . As it is only a resort with 46 rooms , the food will be limited - more so during the off season where we saw no more than 12 villas being occupied at any time . Still a great place to stay with a lot of down time and great service and great sea and coral reefs to look at . Also net airport for quick access . ||If there

We didn’t stay at the hotel itself (we stayed on a neighboring island), but we visited for snorkeling and dinner. Snorkeling was excellent! It’s close to the shore, with plenty of fish species — even squid. You can swim around the island in about 40–60 minutes, depending on the current. The full loop is around 1 km. There’s a lovely lagoon near the bar, perfect for a relaxing swim. We only came for dinner once, and compared to the neighboring island where we dined regularly, the food quality here was noticeably lower. However, everything was fresh and the selection was sufficient — you won’t go hungry. I recommend coming here for dinner during buffet nights on the neighboring island (Tues, Thurs, Sun, I believe) to really notice the difference. Interestingly, both islands shared the same head chef at the time of our visit (David). The accommodation looks simple and modest — small bungalows, nothing fancy. You can't walk around the entire island along the shore, and the view is somewhat spoiled by netting placed every 5–10 meters. The staff is amazing. The island also has a spa and a kids’ club. The island is just a 20-minute boat ride from the airport, and naturally, you can see Malé in the distance.

The trip was phenomenal through and through.|The arrival was handled by Adam and we couldnt have met a more pure and friendly face at the start of our journey. At the arrival to the resort we were greeted by Simaad and Habeeb and so many other people who all welcomed us with open arms. We were taken to the bar reception where we were served amazing welcome drinks by the hostess and within minutes of arrival we were able to go to the villa. Rohan gave us a tour of the resort and showed us what a beautiful place we decided to come to. As we entered the 8lements Spa the two hostesses on duty showed us around. They made the inital impression of the island and its people all the better. The villa was prepared and maintained beautifully by Shareef during all times. He even went as far to check on the ac without us even having to ask. The bartender Afraah mesmerized us with is skill, serving us aethetic and tasty drinks, all the while conversating with us about the resort and all the things we could try. Any questions we had were all answered thoroughly by him and we thank him with all our hearts. Pradeep and Don made sure to follow through our every request which made the evenings we spent at the bar that much better. At breakfast, lunch and dinner we were happily greeted by Husham, Maaniu, Annie who made sure our meals were as enjoyable as it could get. The meals were fantastic and we wanted to come back for more every time. We enjoyed every bit of this trip and it is all possible because of the kind and helping people at DHAWA Ihuru. The island is way better than the pictures could capture. Pristine white beaches and glowing waters. Trees overhead blessing us with their shade. A memorable trip is all i can say. Thank you
