The most famous and historical place in Quang Tri town (previously). The symbol of strong survival of Vietnamese people through the tough time 81 days against the enemy. Refrain to visit here during special occasion like independent day Sep 2nd or Jul 27th… there will be huge people here.

It was so touchful to visit this place. I got a chance to understand more about history of my dear Viet Nam. People from the past, fought by all their lives, just to gain peace for us - our young generation. I almost cried when reading the letter from a sodier who wrote about his coming dead, left his last words to his family...If you love hisfory, please do not skip this place.

Just wanted to stop by the old Quang Tri city where the fierce battle in the summer 1972 claimed thousands of lives after 82 days

This is an ancient city, but now its more important significance is the resistance in the war.This castle was basically completely destroyed during the war with France. Now many schools or units use it as a patriotic education base. Hope it can be better protected and developed Tickets are free and a quick visit only takes 15 minutes.

Historic place, here lies too many fallen soldiers of the heroic Vietnamese generation, some were still too young (15-18 year old). This is to show the world that Viet Nam is an unyielding country, and even with America’s interference, nothing cannot make us give up on our way to unite the country as a whole.
