My family and I decided to try this place for the first time when we were out running errands and looking for a new adventure. Come along for the ride as I detail this travel experience for you. Upon our arrival I was impressed with the layout of the establishment and the beautiful views you can experience while there. They offer plenty of outdoor seating and there's a nice body of water nearby to enjoy while relaxing 😌, enjoying a beverage and some grub. Once we entered the building I was immediately "put off". My family and I were not made to feel welcome at all. Kaelyn and a guy were the bartenders and they seemed very uninterested in helping us. We got cold 🥶 looks and glances from the staff and patrons, to the point I wanted to turn around and immediately leave. My husband was starving and really wanted to try them so I digressed. I don't know how but he was able to get halfway decent treatment from Kaelyn and she suggested he try the Permanent Vacation beer, which was excellent. The building itself is really nice and it definitely puts you in the mind of a brewery from the design and decor. It was clean and well maintained. They offer a wide variety of beers and spirits. Their food menu offered nice options to choose from as well. This place is tied in with Burn Theory Fire Kitchen. Basically you order your food and it is delivered to you from their establishment that sits right outside of Diametric Brewing Company. We had a totally different experience with them. They were warm and personable, I mean it was like night and day from the experience we had with the brewery and it's staff. I'm posting a separate review for Burn Theory, so make sure to check that out. They actually saved the day by the service, quality of product and friendliness of their staff. We actually returned to Diametric Brewing Co. to order from Burn Theory Fire Kitchen and Kaelyn was there working in the brewery. Although she tried to be decent to me this time I could tell it was forced and it almost looked like it was physically hurting her to offer a slight smile. So much so that I'm not interested in returning to the brewery at all. Which is sad because Burn Theory is AMAZING! I cannot in good conscious recommend this brewery. Sure they have a very nice establishment aesthetically speaking and their views are gorgeous but the experience was not a good one with their staff and patrons. I liken it to seeing a really attractive person, getting their contact information to get to know them better and realizing the beauty stops on the outside. Their character and attitude is so foul that you can't hardly stand to be around them. You get the picture. There are other breweries that offer excellent quality products and service to match. I'll be spending my money where my family and I are better appreciated and made to feel more welcomed.

The beers are cold, and i was shocked to see the cocktail options. I had a great time watching the Royals while enjoying a flight. Juan more & rule of thumb were my faves. The staff is fast, friendly, and very attentive.

Top notch draft beers. The wings are also very very good - especially the buffalo sauce (I wish the wings were a little more substantial for the price).

I'm almost afraid to mention how good the food is! I'm afraid they'll get so busy I won't be able to get a seat. The beer and cocktail selection is quite enjoyable and the staff are always friendly. I certainly have the impression they appreciate the patronage.

Happened to stumble upon Diametric Brewing and Burn Theory kitchen in Lee's Summit and I was happy I did. First of all, the vibe of this place is outstanding. It felt more like hanging out at a buddy's place who has outstanding beer and wings on the smoker out back instead of a restaurant. The staff were super friendly and were more than happy to answer any questions or guide you to a beer that might suit your taste. There are no servers, so you sit yourself and then go up to the bar to order. Personally I loved this as I didn't feel rushed to look over the menu or make a choice for something to drink right away. Beers were high quality and very good. I could see going back over and over just to try new brews. If you are looking for a little more than something to drink, the food was just as good as the beer. My wings were OUTSTANDING and I am very picky about wings and eat them everywhere I go. I place these top 3 in the city. They are smoked and not fried and had just the right amount of sauce. My wife got the tacos and really enjoyed them as well, but she thought the wings are a must if you come here. Overall, great beer, great vibe, great food, outstanding wings.

In from out of town and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and pond outlook. The beer was crisp and perfect temp. I didn’t try the food but the Brussels sprouts looked and smelled amazing-next time!

Excellent little out-of-the-way brew pub I just happened to come across while out jogging, only about 1,600 steps from my front door. A partnership with Burn Theory Fire Kitchen, I was here on a Sunday morning when they were serving brunch and the food smelled amazing. Nice variety of beers. Decided to try the Carrot Cake Hef because it sounded interesting - a 5.7% ABV Hefeweisen brewed with over 100 pounds of carrots, cinnamon and clove. Although I was prepared to not like it, damned if it was not DELICIOUS and did taste like carrot cake. Definitely will be back to try a few of the other beers and some of that food that made my stomach growl like it has not in a long, long time!

Solid brewery. These guys make some AMAZING beers. Food is good too! Give this place a try if you like good beers!!!

My son took me to Diametric for Father's Day brunch. The guy who took the order was not at all friendly. The food was just OK. The bacon oddly lacked flavor, the sausage was pretty good, the tater tots were not as good as I had hoped. The apparently old grease in which they were fried didn't help matters. The beer was just OK...I was disappointed in it. I chose a flight so I got a good sampling of four beers upon which I review. The feel of sitting i. the brewery was good and we had a nice view facing a pond. Given the Goat Brewing Company is less than a mile from Diametric. I probably won't go back.

I wanted to try their beer, the wife and I both wanted to try the Burn Theory BBQ. I'll just talk about the brewery here. The guys were great and helpful. It was busy, but they kept up well. The tv's all had different sports on, so it was nice having more than one choice to watch, also, the noise level never got that loud. I tried the "Juan Moore," and "Permanent Vacation." They were both good and easy to drink, but I liked the Permanent Vacation better. The strawberry and lemon notes were just right in my opinion. I plan on going back to try some more.

I love this place! It's pretty cool. It's huge and it's packed when we visited. It seemed like a popular hangout for families. I like that they let you sit yourself then get up to the bar and order your drink and food. We didn't eat ad we have eaten at another location already. I had my usual pale ale. The MetroGnome is awesome! And they have stickers! Yay!

I've lived near here for three years and only recently found out Diametric existed! Diametric location doesn't make you feel like you're in a landlocked state. The view of the lake and outdoor seating are so relaxing you'll forget you're in Lee's Summit. When I visited, I tried their tacos and a signature cocktail. Both were delicious and from there, Diametric was added to my list of places to return to. They have several street tacos (in addition to many other yummy-looking foods), and the beer/cocktail choices were extensive. The service was great and I'd recommend this location to anyone wanting a relaxing time.

Wow. We finally made it over to check out Diametric after years of saying we should. We're mad we haven't come sooner. Great beer and cocktails. Amazing staff and service. Super clean. The food from Burn Theory Kitchen is phenomenal. Some of the best food/BBQ I've ever had. We will keep coming back here. Amazing place!

This is a fun little place that is tucked around behind some strip mall buildings. The staff is absolutely great. The beer is good and it is cold. Barbecue was good barbecue and Kansas City is very very competitive so I would mark this as good not above. When it comes to a fun getaway a different change of pace good people good food good beer this is a great change up

This was the first BBQ place we ended up visiting. It was a Friday and they offered their ribs as a special. If you see that, get it!! It is the best ribs this far in all the BBQ joints I've tried in KC (Q39, Arthur Bryant, Jack Stacks). The venue is adjacent to a small body of water and if while seated on the patio, you can watch the smooth landings of geeze while you enjoy the food and beer. Later I learned from one of the owners of transparent brewery that they recommend Sunday brunch here.

What a great little place! The mixed drinks are made with pride, the on site brews are great, and the truck stop BBQ is some of the best in the area. Not the place to go if you are looking to cut calories, but what a great cheat day meal! I'll be back real soon! PS- you need to know, you have to walk up and order food and drinks at the bar counter.

I'm always down for a brewery and food truck stop. This was such a unique experience for me, we walked in and ordered a few beers and some food and realized the food was actually being delivered from the food truck parked outside. I ordered a Boysenberry Bog sour and dang that thing was SOUR. Beware if you aren't a huge fan of sours because it had me looking like the warheads logo. We also order a ton of things from the food side for dinner. We started with the Brussels and the Taylor tots. The Taylor tots were basically cheese hash brown bits. They were delicious but honestly way too pricy for how small they are... unfortunately won't be ordering again because of that. We also tried the smoked Mac and cheese, very delicious and I find it hard to get Mac and cheese perfect. The last thing we shared was Bog Hog sandwich, tons of meat and I loved the blueberry swirl bread it came on. The service was super quick considering how busy it was, overall I was very impressed.

Food is excellent and a great beer selection! Fun was had. Easy in w lots of parking. Outside seating looked nice also.

Cool space with great beers! What a surprise in the middle of Lee's Summit. We loved all their beers that we tried- The Strawberry milkshake IPA was perfect. Sometimes strawberry can be very hit or miss in beer, but in this one it was perfectly balanced by the hops. The pumpkin kolsch was good too, the pumpkin was more herbal leaning than sweet. We are tried the crimson bog sour, which was fabulous, and the trops of Jupiter, which was mouth puckering sour. The space seemed a little rough- we sat at a bar which had some exposed piping and rough cut stone. I couldn't tell if it was purposeful or just unfinished. The view of the lake behind Hyvee was really pretty. I would absolutely come back to sit on the patio on a nice day, try some more of their beers, and maybe try the food.

Diametric Brewing is a fun spot to enjoy a tasty beer at in Lees Summit, MO. I'd recommend trying the Don't Be Hasty cream ale. Very crisp and refreshing! The Keep It Dry wings were a hit at the table along with the house-made tater tots and the barbacoa nachos. If you like spicy meals, see if you can handle the Burn burger!

Decided to check this place out for happy hour. We tried their flagship IPA and it was very tasting. I highly recommend trying the beer here. We liked it so much we decided to order from the food truck burn theory.

Great options for all drinkers. Food truck BBQ options are a huge plus. Hole in the wall area. Nail in the coffin beers.

Hazy All Day! Looks like they've had a change in name to Diametric Brewing Company but same great location by the pond with pet friendly patio space! We shared a few flights & pints and our top 2 favorites were the Hazy & Vienna Styles. Yum! They had a food truck parked out front on a Friday evening which was a great sight. Bartenders were awesome with their tasters & recommendations. This is a perfect spot you could spend an entire evening at! Great people watching & beer drinking!

What a great location! New Axiom is right near a lake (pond?) and has an outdoor deck with plenty of seating and a view of the lake/pond. The interior of New Axiom is pretty cool as well. There's an indoor water feature that's a part of the bar facing the lake - almost like a tiny waterfall. Not the best description, but go see for yourself! Although I loved the location and the building itself, I didn't love the beer. I had a flight and found a beer or two that I liked, but overall the beers didn't do it for me. To each his own though right? New Axiom is definitely worth checking out though.

Located at the back of a shopping center/strip mall the place is small but has a big outdoor section with "park tables" overlooking a lake. The selection of beers is not large but it is solid. The red ale is specially good. For food try the bbq nachos everyone in our party of 10 agreed were the best. Service is quick and friendly which on top of everything else will set you up for a good time.

We love this place! Amazing food and drink choices. We were shocked when we saw the food was coming out of a food truck. Food was so good! Try the smoked wings. Can't say enough good things!

Beer is wonderful. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. BBQ Saturdays is a must - fantastic food. Clean space. Favorite brewery hands down in KC.

What an awesome place. Not only is the lake view and open garage door wall awesome, the beer is great. We got a flight of 4 beers. Pond Loungin, Breakfast of Champs, Bad Brown, and Circadian. The stout was my favorite and right up there with all of my other favorite craft beer joints in KC. There is a bbq food truck in the parking lot, ample outside seating, and also seems to be family friendly with games and kids on the premises. All in all worth checking out and I think their future is bright based on our first experience.

Great place to stop in for a beer. There are a lot of choices to choose from. I have not found a beer I didn't like out of the selection.

We love this place. The atmosphere is always friendly, a local favorite of many people. The beer is always fantastic and we love the variety. Just Rosemarried is our new favorite, but it won't be around long. They have fantastic food offerings. We have never been disappointed with anything.

Came here to try some beer. However, when i saw the food menu, i had to try the hot wings. they were awesome! smoked and crispy. if i had to give them advice it would be to expand their sauce choices. Beer and wings go together. #Delicious

We are visiting from Arizona and we love to go to different breweries everywhere we travel. This had great reviews so we gave it a shot. Great variety of beers, we all got flights before deciding on our pints. I surprised myself by liking the session IPA. The food was also phenomenal. Again we couldn't decide so we all did share and cares haha. This is a must place visit! Can't go wrong with any of the food!

Delicious assortment of brews ranging from complex sours to thick high proof imperial stouts. Open air great seating and a full menu of upgraded bar food.

We have personally been informed how great the Burn Theory food is.. our first visit was ok. Just one person to take a brew and/or food order took awhile. Ordered a turkey and cheese which was a very good & great portion and delicious. The peppered burnt ends were not a winner, as they were to dry & no flavor. We will return for a brew and try something else!

Went there for the Support Ukraine fundraiser dinner. It was my first time there. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice atmosphere; casual and friendly. Great tasting food and beer. It's definitely worth another visit!

Go for brunch and get their Bloody Mary. Awesome! If you like biscuits and gravy there are a variety to choose from. Obviously there is great beer to choose from as well.

Diametric is one of our favorite spots in Lees Summit. There are always new beers to try with unique flavors which makes each visit so fun. The connected food truck, Burn Theory Kitchen, also has some of the best food in town. Their pork tacos are to die for. There's a cheese crust between the juicy meat and corn tortilla which stops the taco from getting soggy while also being delicious - genius! I highly recommend this place, it's a must stop.

Diametric is sort of my hometown local brewery, so the close location is always a positive. I have been here probably 5-6 times and the beer selection is always slightly different. What I like about Diametric is that they aren't static in what they do. They seem to always be tweaking and perfecting their brews, also adding unique flavors like a Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Sour. My favorite right now is the TD Mahazy IPA. The first couple times I tried this, I did not particularly care for it, but I think they have mastered the recipe now. Very light, citrusy, and of course, hazy. The other thing I love about Diametric is that they partner with local food trucks and have a rotating selection on the weekends. A great way to try different foods with some fun local brews. Keep up the good work!

Great little spot. Great selection of different house brewed beers. Tried the super flight with a friend so got to try all 13 they had on tap. Had some def favorites. The strawberry rhubarb sour was just enough and not to sour. Had a great nose on it. Smelt just like a strawberry field. And the double bean stout was one of the best coffee stouts I've tasted. Rich earthy, great flavor and not heavy at all. Had a silkiness of peanut butter on the pallet. Owners were extremely friendly takes beer all night long. Great views out the back also. Will def be returning. Hope you check it out.

Found this gem when searching for a local place to try. The food was great but more importantly the service and staff were outstanding! Our family ordered several things and we tried them all. Great street tacos (the pork and buffalo chicken ones were the best). The bog hog sandwich was great, the Baja pork nachos were outstanding! The brews were great too, we will be going back!

Now one of my favorite breweries in Kansan City. Beautiful brewery that generally has a food truck outside. In an industrial area of Lee's Summit and has a good sized parking lot as well. The beers are absolutely delicious. There are a wide variety of styles for everyone's tastes. Even the decor inside was beautiful. It was nice to see kids and animals here as well. This will be one I frequently check out!

These folks have it goin on! Tucked into a corner with a view of a nearby pond they are pumping our great drinks. The Juan Moore is simply refreshing. Most brew houses just give you beer. These folks step it up with food from Burn Theory, a trailer in the parking lot. Every one here should be proud of what they are doing! Just phenomenal!

This place is incredible. Especially their new worker Felipe, but everyone there is awesome. Great drinks, AMAZING food. 10/10.

Now named Diametric Brewing. Great place for a beer. And now cider and meads. Patio seating. Food trucks usually on the weekend. Tv's for the games. Knowledgeable and fun staff!! All around my favorite place to go for a drink. Especially Monday & Thursday with the $4 pours. Can't go wrong.

Yep! This place is legit! Lees Summit has a few breweries in downtown that are great, but here is another awesome spot to add to the list. The inside of the place is pretty cool and the view of the large "pond" I guess you could call it doesn't really feel like a pond, more like a lake. Really like that they have it open to the outside with their garage doors. I can't wait to visit this spot in the fall and sit out on the patio. AND most of the beer I tried was realllly good! Try one with root beer and Juan More, my favs so far. Oh, and did I mention it's right across the street from my gym?! Um, winner winner!

What a cool space! Lots of beers on tap. Super clever waterfall countertop. Beautiful pond and deck. I can't wait for the next taco truck.

Great neighborhood brewery with an awesome selection. The milkshake IPAs are wonderful (banana today, strawberry the last time I was there). It really is a labor of love for these guys. No kitchen but they often have food trucks and Chipotle is a few steps away, or bring your own or have something delivered. Two thumbs up!

Amazing beers. 1st time but very impressed. Biggest surprise was their meads. Not usually a mead fan but these (especially barrel aged ones) are super complex. Will be back!

Pond Side is a fantastic easy drinking ale. Would be a great lake beer. SMASH Bruder, very good, less sweet than Pond Side, also very good. You Look Like an Amber, nice malted flavor. I could drink a lot of all three of the above. All Mind Jay, nice finish to the flight. Sweet with coconut and chocolate flavors. This place is great and I hear the are starting local distribution to bars/restaurants. I predict they will be successful, based on the quality of the beer.

I second the reviews for Meat Rushmore, but want to add if you're wanting to try get here early because the sell out fast. The Cubano Tacos will change your life and your their wings are the best in KC.

I knew that this brewery was newer to the community, but I had no idea that it had just opened the weekend before. I'm also happy that I could check them out before the crowds came rolling in for their afternoon beers. They have a solid selection for every beer lover and taste bud. The beertenders were friendly with an array of knowledge which included local businesses and breweries in other states with grand openings or new events coming. Sitting at the bar doesn't give you the best angle of the t.v. so keep that in mind when strategically coming in to watch a game or something.

The assortment and flavor of beer was outstanding! Food was good and service was quick. Sound track was chill and TVs were on to catch the game. New favorite place!

I love this brewery. The beers are wonderful. All of the bartenders both days we visited were so friendly, nice and went out of their way to help us. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone. They have a little bit of everything.
