So this isn't a normal five star review, they've gotten bonus stars.
Many beers are really great, and some are exceptional. Even works class. But some are too sweet and falsely flavored but appropriate to this market so no points off (the cherry wheat is the exemplar here). The grapefruit seltzer is an excellent seltzer that skirts this line IMO.
First issue, I know that the concept of ketchup has changed over the past 300 years, but none else knows that and the fermented salsa looking stuff in ketchup bottles is not catsup (picture included).
The stuff that is the color of BBQ sauce was also fermented and poorly. The mustard, which I can only image was slightly sweet to start has fermented into a thing you'd never actually want to use.
As a fellow maker of fermented things I don't think these fermentations were intentional, but regardless they are not good. They have neither the salinity or acidity to exist in the storage conditions they are subjected to here. So the versions were got were crap.
My fellows, who are not as well versed in bar culture as I, had a bad time with the serving staff. I recognized this as not ordering properly but they perceived it as rude wait staff.
Here's a beginners guide: say everything you want upfront and repeat yourself as necessary. Continuous add-ons are bad.
Specials were really good. Smoked ribs were perfect. Several beers are top notch. I didn't receive any shaker points. And I will absolutely be back.
