Beautiful views all around you. We were lucky enough to see multiple seals swimming next to the beach! We went at dusk and there weren’t many “diamonds” but it was still a magical experience with what was there!

The beautiful sight of ice flowing from the glacial lake into the sea, ice washed up by the waves and black sand beaches is so beautiful it will make you scream. The view is like a condensed version of the grandeur of the natural world of the Earth, and is recommended along with the glacier cave as a sight you should see before you die.

Diamond Beach is a beautiful spot in Iceland! While there weren’t many iceberg pieces when we visited, the ones that were there, combined with a lucky rainbow, made the experience truly magical. It’s a peaceful, unique place that’s definitely worth a visit!

Worth the drive from Selfoss, incredibly beautiful and surreal. Directly adjacent to the glacier lagoon, and was a good activity paired with the lagoon boat tour. Wasn’t completely covered in ice as some photos show but you will see something regardless. Visited October 2024

On this beach in Iceland, you can see ice chunks scattered across the sand, resembling diamonds. Each piece of ice is crystal clear, and under the glow of the setting sun, these "diamonds" become truly mesmerizing. Strolling here is far more rewarding than purchasing any expensive gemstone. It is recommended to visit in winter when you can see even more of these natural diamonds.

Awesome experience! Many ice blocks on the sands. Several icebergs in the water looked like sunken ships with blue and brownish color. The weather is wet, raining, strong wind with occasional snowing or marble rains. There are food stalls selling foods and drinks. Lobster rolls and soup are delicious

Diamond Beach, located near Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon in Iceland, is one of the most unique and stunning spots on the island. The beach is famous for its sparkling ice chunks, which are washed ashore from the nearby glacier lagoon. The icebergs, varying in size and shape, glisten like diamonds against the black sand, creating a surreal and mesmerizing landscape. What makes this place truly special is how nature has sculpted each piece of ice into its own unique form, making it feel like nature itself has created a masterpiece. Some pieces are large and angular, while others are small and delicate, reflecting the light in different ways and adding to the beach’s ethereal beauty. Walking along the beach, with the ice sparkling all around you and the sound of waves crashing nearby, is an unforgettable experience. Diamond Beach is a must-visit for anyone exploring Iceland, offering an extraordinary display of nature’s artistry.

One of the most memorable and spectacular memories of Iceland is seeing Diamond Beach for the first time. The striking black sand beach and looking out into the glistening icebergs fragments that drift ashore is simply amazing. You can spot otters as well playing in the water. The ice is so clear and pure, this is what natural clean glacier water should be!
