Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens & Mineral Baths

A nice, relaxing alternative to robo-tourism. Park in the ample lot, pay a reasonable park fee, and walk at your own pace - either alone or with a guide - through the botanical gardens. There were signs explaining the plants and all staff members were friendly and inviting. Probably not the most popular destination, but cultural sites like this one are the heart and soul to a country and its people.

The gardens are beautiful. The view of the falls was quite nice. Lost a star as they do not tell you that the entrance fee was just to get in walk around and view the falls, you have to pay more to actually soak in the tiny little pools just before the falls.

Super beautiful and interesting. The entry fee was only $7USD a person which was very well worth it. We also bought some very nice bracelets and magnets from some vendors at the entrance. Very nice experience overall

Lovely gardens. Gift shop with refreshments. Highly recommend the coconut ice cream bar! Toilets are available as are some natural peony pools which are included in entry so being a towel and costume, you wot. Regret it. A very wide selection of plants and trees. Beautiful setting and a little colder then the rest of the island. Lovely open access Waterfall. It isn't too accessable for those with mobility issues and wheeled chairs will struggle in places. Cash only payment. When I visited but the shop appeared to have card payments facilities.

The gardens feel alive with the gentle rustling of leaves and the flitting of colorful birds and insects, offering a peaceful retreat and a true immersion in the island's diverse flora and fauna. The air is fragrant with exotic blossoms, while a kaleidoscope of vibrant hibiscus, heliconia, and anthurium bursts forth in fiery reds, pinks, and yellows against a backdrop of every imaginable shade of green.At the heart of the gardens lies a natural wonder, the magnificent Diamond Waterfall, a picturesque cascade unlike any other in the Caribbean. The water emanates from volcanic springs and is laced with a rich assortment of minerals including sulfur, copper, and magnesium, which stain the rock face in a constantly shifting display of brilliant orange, yellow, and green. Though swimming directly under the main falls is not permitted, the mineral-rich waters feed nearby baths, offering a chance for a therapeutic soak that soothes and rejuvenates, a perfect end to the sensory journey.

This is a eat experience. It takes maybe half an our to do the whole thing, unless you want to soak in the sulpher spring bath. The trail and waterfall hike is $7 US per person and the sulpher bath is an additional $6US per person. You can easily do it without a guide but they do tell you some interesting things about the estate and the surrounding flora.

This is a great little botanical garden with a lovely view of the mineral springs and waterfall. You’ll find so many beautiful tropical plants in a lovely Historic setting.

Nice leisurely tour through the rainforest and falls. Mineral baths were very relaxing and warm. Vendors outside of the park where a little aggressive, but not the worst I've encountered.
