Beautiful location with a stunning view of the pollock holes, perfect stop for food before/after the cliff walk or a swim. Staff were super attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious (we had shakshouka, pulled pork poached eggs and cake to take away 🤤). Great quality coffee also. 10/10 would recommend!

We just had our fantastic wedding at the diamond rocks. Margaret, Kevin and Nadine were so enthusiastic, obliging and attentive. They were a huge part of why we had the most magical day. They took my vision and executed it perfectly. They preempted every need and took care of every detail no matter how big or small so we could enjoy our day to the fullest. They completely took the stress out of the day! Our guests are still raving about the friendly staff, the delicious food, the gorgeous set up and the views! If you choose this as your wedding venue, rest assured you couldn’t be in safer hands. Thank you guys for the most incredible day, Síle & Ian O’Neill xx

We had our wedding there last weekend and we are still overjoyed with the day and everything about the Diamond Rocks. From the first day we made contact with the Diamond Rocks team, over a year ago, until now it was an absolute pleasure to deal with them. Nothing was a problem and everything was possible. We felt so welcome as the first couple in the new venue. The Diamond Rocks team, specially Margaret, Nadine and Kevin made our dreams come true. Nothing could have prepared us, how beautiful the venue looked on the day, the views were breathtaking. The food was delicious and the way it was presented, was completely unique, specially the dessert, which was presented like an afternoon tea. The service was flawless, every single guest complimented the venue, the food, the service and enjoyed the warm welcome from the Diamond Rocks team. The value for money was outstanding. The views are priceless. This is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Ireland. We still can't believe, we celebrated our special day in our favorite place in the world. We couldn't ask for any better, it was perfect , every single moment. We wish the Diamond Rocks team every success. We know there will be many weddings to come.

Fantastic restaurant!! We held a surprise birthday party and the Diamond rocks team were fantastic. Delicious food, the loveliest staff, and of course the most amazing carrot cake 10000/10! Our favourite restaurant in Kilkee❤️

The view is so amazing whilst sitting inside you actually feel like you are outside. That's the selling point, now for the big hole in your pocket sting, the cost of a tiny little cake and that's putting it nicely saying its tiny little actually its bloody tiny with a mahoosive price tag, its shocking how customers are being ripped off, and 100% not worth the price! In laymans term, buy the cake in a supermarket for around €2 cut it into 4 pieces and then sell each piece for €7 each that kind of shocking price. Would I go back to that cafe....NO WAY!

Overall a nice experience to have fresh crispy fish at a such a beautiful spot. Pros: Amazing location & fresh hot food. Good service - very helpful staff, great seating capacity -indoor & outdoor options. Lots of food choices, pastries and desserts available. Loved the Scampi, nicely coated and well seasoned. Cons: Overpriced. Fish could be better with a some seasoning but as it was fresh we enjoyed it. Would recommend at least having a coffee and treat to enjoy the view.

Fantastic location, food was plentiful and delicious, views are incredible and plenty of parking. The Diamond Rocks Cafe is well worth a visit. Staff were attentive, very helpful and polite. Spacious restaurant with huge windows so you can enjoy the view whilst you tuck into the delicious menu. We really enjoyed the food and cake and left feeling full. We then took a walk along the costal path to walk of our lunch enjoying the fresh sea air. If you are in Clare pay the Diamond Rocks Cafe a visit. We will be visiting again 👍

Yelp
This was a great stop on our way to Cliffs of Moher. We stopped here for the free parking to see the cliffs and to get some coffee. The latte I ordered was delicious. You can sit and enjoy while looking at the great views or get it in a takeaway cup to enjoy while hiking. We enjoyed exploring the area and hiking the path for a couple of hours then came back to eat lunch at the cafe. Lunch was delicious. I split tomato soup and a toasted special (ham, cheese, tomato, and onion). The soup came with brown bread and I think it was my favorite bread I've had so far on this trip! The sandwich and fries were delicious as well. The large selection of pastry items were too hard to pass up. I had a chocolate croissant and it was very fresh and delicious! I highly recommend this cafe for a snack, lunch, or a coffee the next time you go explore the Kilkee cliffs!

Yelp
I would go here for the view alone. This busy cafe stands at the base of a stunning cliff walk and overlooks the spitting ocean and three rock-enclosed pools, otherwise known as the pollock holes. However, that's not the only reason to select Diamond Rocks as your choice of cafe in this picturesque seaside village. The food is home-made and tasty and the juice is freshly squeezed. Seductive desserts wait behind the glass, tempting even the most abstemious amongst us. This is a red-light district for the sweet tooth. The savoury food is great too. You can choose from seafood chowder, soup, open sandwiches, panini, toasties, pizza, and much more. The coffee's good and there are many types of hot drinks to choose from. One can also buy beer here. The walls are adorned with beautiful paintings (which are for sale) and tea sets so pretty you'll wish you were a five-year-old girl, hosting tea parties for your dolls. After indulging in all the cafe has to offer, you can play a game of pitch and putt (the course lies just behind), swim in the pollock holes or wander up the cliff. Kilkee doesn't do guilty.

Yelp
What a great place for brunch. Amazing view, with excellent mochas and full Irish breakfasts. My wife and daughter love the Pavlovas- a decadent treat if there ever was one. Lunch food is excellent as well. Highly recommended. Did I mention the view?

Yelp
We stopped in for a cupa and scones. The scones with cream and jam were over the top. The owners were super nice. Beautiful views

Yelp
Yes, indeed, come for the view. The restaurant is a spacious, high-ceiling, new building with picture windows overlooking the Bay with a continual show of whitecaps crashing on the rocks. Come to think of it, though, it is hard to swing a shillelagh without hitting a restaurant with a great view on the Irish coast. Do enjoy a cup of coffee as you return from a hike of the cliff trails, as you will walk right past this place. The food is sustenance, and I'm pretty sure the hot food comes from prepared frozen foods--pizza, fries, etc. A safe bet might be the panini, though I didn't try one, I would guess they press them in house.

Yelp
We had breakfast at this restaurant on our way to Cliffs of Moher. Good coffee, excellent fresh squeezed orange juice. Great service and enjoyed chatting with owner who was able to share a wealth of info about our journey. Our orders of eggs and fresh fruit yogurt and granola were both delicious. I only regret not getting some pastry for the road.

Yelp
Most amazing view with a side of coffee! In my humble opinion, the location is better than Cliffs of Moher without the tourist busses. I wish I was hungry to review he food, but I can say the staff are very nice!
