"Go Dutch with breakfast at this beachfront spot, located next to Aruba’s iconic red windmill. Here, the menu is written on a chalkboard and features all manner of sweet and savory pancakes, from apple-cinnamon-banana to Norwegian and Dutch cheese with ham. There are even some gluten-free options. Just don’t expect American-style flapjacks—the house specialty is more of a thick crepe. Whatever you choose, pair it with preservative-free syrup from Holland and your pick from the never-ending coffee list."

Unique pancakes, savory and sweet. Pretty small place so wait was required. Worth a visit to experience what dutch pancakes (crepes?) are about. Good options for kids too. House cat, dutch souvenirs, and the Aruba sign outside are a nice plus.

I recently visited Diana’s Pancake Palace in Aruba and had a wonderful morning meal that I’d highly recommend to anyone on the island. The food was excellent across the board. We started with the cheese and ham pastechi, which was perfectly crispy and filled generously. For the main course, the bacon cheese pancakes were a delicious savory option—well-seasoned, and satisfying. We paired everything with Dutch coffee, which was the perfect complement to the meal. What really enhanced the experience was the great service. The staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. If you’re looking for a quality breakfast spot in Aruba with authentic local flavors and a welcoming atmosphere, Diana’s Pancake House is definitely worth a visit.

Awesome spot that’s like a 5 minute walk from the Riu or St Regis. Worth the mini walk. Good was tasty and filling, service was great, and it was nice to explore a local little spot. I got the farmers one and it was delicious

I learned about this restaurant from TikTok and it did not disappoint! I was sitted and tended to immediately. With this being my first time, my waitress did a great job at recommending a dish that best suited my taste buds. Ultimately, I decided to go with the ham, bacon, and cheese Dutch pancake, with an additon of onions. My waiter also recommendeded that I try the Aruban pancake syrup, with a drizzle of cayenne hot sauce. Talk about delicious! All of the flavors combined wonderfully together and was cooked just right. Even the pancake dough was the right consistency. Overall, I rate this experience a 10 out of 10. I definitely will be back for future visits!

The pancake in Diana’s is thin layer type, it is more like crepe. Personally I like regular pancakes more. The hash-brown taste very fresh, doesn’t like frozen type.

We had a lovely experience at the pancake house! From the moment we arrived, the staff was extremely friendly .Everyone smiled warmly whenever we made eye contact. They were especially sweet with our toddler, even bringing out some toys to keep him entertained, which we really appreciated. The service was top-notch: attentive, kind, and professional. The food was just as we hoped. delicious and satisfying. As a Coke Zero drinker, I did feel like the flavor was a bit on the weak side, possibly due to it not being a popular item there? Still, it was a minor detail in an otherwise great visit. Overall, the food and service both deserve five stars. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a delicious breakfast and lovely Dutch pancake experience at the old windmill today. Greta and Lydia provided excellent and friendly service, answering our questions and sharing information about the restaurant and the food. We thoroughly enjoyed the cinnamon apple pancake and the French style pancake with walnuts, Brie, and honey. Don’t skip the whipped cream and the thick and delicious Dutch syrup!

Best food I've had on the island! I found that most food on the island is very American. When traveling, I love to try foods I haven't had before, and this was definitely it! I wish I had come here earlier on my trip because I'd have gone back again. If I'm ever in Aruba again, this is a must to go back to. We ordered savory and sweet crepes. The savory ones, I've never had anything like it. Super delicious and delicate! And for the sweet one, I definitely suggest adding the aruban liquor option! Delectable! Also, the lovely women serving us, I believe her name was Greta (apologies if i got that wrong) she was so wonderful. She helped us with ordering and even answered questions about the island, going out of her way to explain things. Absolutely wonderful experience here.
