Diani Backpackers is a great choice if you’re looking for a lively, social, and budget-friendly place to stay near the beach. The atmosphere is very welcoming it’s easy to meet fellow travelers, especially around the pool or bar, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beautiful beach and close to local amenities.

I had such a fantastic stay at Diani Backpackers! The staff and owner were absolutely lovely, making the place feel so welcoming from the start. The tab system was really convenient, and the drinks and food were not only lovely but also really affordable. What really stood out is how much the hostel organises for guests, there’s always something planned, both during the day and at night, which makes exploring the area so easy and fun. It honestly feels more like a resort with the constant activities and great atmosphere. This is hands down the best place I’ve ever stayed, I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Diani Backpackers 🙌🏾 What an incredible getaway. I really enjoyed my stay at the Justin cabin, a very nice and quaint house for private stays. Accompanied with the super friendly staff, you’ll feel right at home. Best part is the never-ending activities and the proximity to the beach, there’s just no getting bored at Backpackers. Definitely coming back again and again! 🏖️

The place has amazing scenery, good food, friendly staff, great location with beach not too far. Good vibes all day and night. Love the ambience and mix of different cultures. Would definitely recommend. Most importantly they're Budget friendly

I booked the hotel for three nights for a private room, I got to the hotel to check in and the receptionist was taking a shot (alcohol) then later came to attend to me. Their food is very expensive the burger was very dry same to the fries. I had to move to the hostel for the third night but the sockets weren’t working, I asked for an extension but they refused. There was no bathroom window in the hostel and they didn’t want to fix it yet it was just adjacent to the gate. The mosquito nets have holes. Checked out the following day but they refused to give me a refund or use the money to pay for food.

We had an amazing experience at Diani backpackers. Everyone there made our stay a time to remember. A heartfelt thank you to Joan who assisted us with the booking, Ali who welcomed us on the night of our arrival, Phoebe at reception was warm and friendly with amazing recommendations, Halima was a wizard with the cocktails, Mwinyi an open and welcoming Manager who very attentive to our needs and the entire staff from the Kitchen to the grounds and Housekeeping!!! We will back!!! 20/10

A nice place to reside. Its proximity to Diani beach is an added advantage. The meals are just fine and the swimming pool is perfect for cooling off after a long day. The staff are hospitable and service delivery at the facility is top notch.|Can’t wait to visit again!

Had an amazing stay. Super friendly staff, great amenities, fun place to stay. Location is good and great value for money. Would highly recommend. If you’re travelling solo you’ll find a great community and people to have fun with. If you’re travelling as a couple, highly recommend the private rooms. They are very cosy and cute
