You have to come here. Best local Maltese food. The nicest people. The restaurant is a destination in its own! Highly recommend the widows soup and stuffed eggplant/zucchini. Lamb also phenomenal. Everything was good!!!

Randomly stopped here with my Mum just looking for a coffee to rest our bones but after popping inside to use the toilet, magnificent aromas teased me into perusing the menu and deciding on some lunch. The food here is undeniably delectable and great value also. I went for the Timpani but if I had more space I would have eaten a lot more! The staff were so kind and attentive and the food was one of the best experiences we had in Malta. Inside the restaurant is a deli with local produce, breads, olives etc. J would definitely recommend going out of your way to please your appetite here it's a fantastic place to eat. Thanks to all the staff you deserve everything!

I had this place saved for two years, ever since my first trip to Malta. Unfortunately, back then we didn’t make a reservation for our last day and it was completely full, so we missed out. This time, we didn’t make the same mistake — we reserved in advance, and I can confidently say this restaurant belongs in the top five, or even top three, restaurants in Malta. We started with bread and their house olive oil, and we absolutely demolished it. The olive oil was so good that I couldn’t stop pouring more and more on the bread. In the end, we even bought a bottle from their little shop inside the restaurant — and yes, they have a small store where you can buy their products, which is amazing. The service was excellent, warm, and attentive, and the whole story and concept behind the place make the experience even better. This restaurant focuses on homemade Maltese food, which makes it a must-visit. For starters, we ordered the goat cheese polpette — fried goat cheese served with quince jam. That quince jam was incredible. We loved it so much that we went to the shop afterward and bought two jars to take home. For the mains, I ordered spaghetti with rabbit sauce and vegetables. The rabbit was super tender and flavorful, the sauce was delicious, and the spaghetti was perfectly cooked al dente. The only small downside was that the chopped carrot was a bit too raw for my taste — I expected it to be softer — but overall the dish was still excellent. The other main was beef filled with minced beef, served in a homemade sauce with potatoes. The meat was incredibly juicy and full of flavor. The sauce was so good that I ended up finishing it with bread, and the potatoes tasted truly homemade — simple and delicious. We finished this amazing meal with apple pie, and as a big apple fan, I have to say it was outstanding. A proper homemade pie and the perfect way to end the experience. One final tip: after your meal, visit the shop and buy some of the products you tasted. It’s honestly one of the best souvenirs you can take home from Malta — you won’t regret it.

I stumbled across this Restaraunt after exploring the Dingli cliffs and viewpoints so decided to have lunch. This is a very authentic restaurant with locally sourced produce. The selection of dishes we had were all cooked very well and were very tasty. We were able to get a table without a reservation, not sure if this would be the case in an evening though. Well worth giving this place a try if you’re down in Dingli.

My husband and I visited Diar Il-Bniet this evening for an evening out. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. We wanted to taste authentic Maltese food and boy did they deliver! The service was excellent too. We ordered two set menus and opted for spaghetti with rabbit sauce (first plate) and Fried Rabbit with potatoes and vegetable (2nd plate). They were both to die for. The meat was tender, the taste was amazing! Each dish as it should be - just as if grandma made it. The portions were really good too - we couldn’t eat it all. When it came for desert we opted for the mqaret with ice-cream! Again spot on taste, presentation and everything. The service was excellent too. The waiters were ready to serve and very friendly. Very attentive to the customer needs and I dare say could preempt our needs. All in all a 5 star place and i will definitely visit again! 5 stars from me!

Samir our server was AMAZING! He was incredibly attentive, gave great explanations of the various items on the menu as we wanted to try as much local cuisine as possible. The food was incredible and so fresh and flavorful. If you are visiting Malta I highly recommend you try this restaurant.

We had the honour to do the cooking class (Ravioli making) with Chef Godwin, a very enthusiastic, kind and skilled cook that showed us how to make filled ravioli from scratch. He started with a tasting of in house and fresh home made cheeses and jams. (Which are remarkble) gave us a step by step how to on the pasta and filling making. Then cooked our Ravioli (in an amazing tomato saus) and as the first extra we got gifted the best prepared rabbit as tasted on the island! Absolute mouth watering. After the diner we went to ( a part) of the gardens from where the fresh ingredients come and visited Milly and Daisy, the house donkeys! Was an absolute must try! Recommend 10 out of 5. Was fun, learnfull, relaxed, playful! With good tips and how to's from Godwin! Also a thanks to the rest of the team for being enthusiastic, dropping in for a talk, being kind and helping out! Much appreciated
