Excellent restaurant with good service. Off the beaten path in Regensberg. White asparagus soup was delicious!

Very cool atmosphere, I stumbled on this place while walking down a narrow alley. Very busy but I was able to find a space at the bar. servers were very friendly and helpful (English) and the English menu was also very nice. Beers were delicious and the schnitzel was the best I've had in Regensburg. Will definitely return

What an amazing place set in a quiet lane. The service was excellent and the food first rate. The Salzbuger Nockerl was an experience not to be missed. Highly recommend. A gem of Regensburg

Nice place, good people and very tasty chicken escalope! One of the tastiest even! The service is friendly ... The manager knows to speak English. It is not though located on a main street, but not far from it; you need to get into a small way to reach it. It is within the old city, but not in its center (somehow to its western edge.) There is also a beer garden; maybe I will try it next time a visit the place. The atmosphere is fine.

Had a great lunch here! As an Australian visitor It was great to eat some classic Bavarian food. The service was extremely attentive and friendly.

We Wall by and decided to drop in for a beer. Very charming and romantic inside with a beer garden in the back. We ordered a couple of beers and then the waitress tempted us with Kaiserschmarrn. Really big and really good. Would definitely go back when in Regensburg again.

A warm welcome from staff. Excellent food and service from Mandy in a lovely courtyard. So pleased we visited.

While the Schnitzel had a good crunch and nice golden color, and the potato salad served with it was good with cucumber and dill, the meal as a whole was not spectacular. The deer was very dry, even for a low fat deer, the gravy was nothing special and the salad minus the hair we found in it was in a dressing that I can only guess was water mostly with almost not flavor or consistency. The waitress we had was very innatentive after waiting for 25 minutes I had to go in and get menus and as the barmaid, who was as actually quite nice that we needed to order. This neglect did not stop and we never saw the waitress until I decided we waited long enough to pay and I walked in to find her. This was not the worst place I have been and the barmaid seemed really nice withe the interactions that I had. But overall the price was way to high for the quality of the food. I would have gladly spent more for a meal that was enjoyable. I didn't hate it but I won't be coming back again.

Great heart Bavarian food served in a warm and cozy ambiance. The waiters are very friendly and speak English well. Get the snitzel. You won't regret it.

Great service, great food! The staff was very friendly and great with kids. The food was delicious and traditional. The experience couldn't have been better. I recommend the schweinebraten mit dunkelbiersoße und knödel (under Grandmother's recipes on the menu). The krautsalat that comes with it is also very fresh and tasty. The restaurant is well sized, stationed in the middle of Regensburg and quite affordable.

Best potatoe salad, I'd love the receipe. Long wait for dinner staff was not overly friendly.
