Came here on a week night early December. The restaurant was packed, and it didn't seem like there was enough staff to handle the business. Younger servers on their phones as much as working, yet the place was out of clean wine glasses, etc. Mixed meat plate was a mixed bag - a couple pieces very tough & well done, and a couple were good. Service was beyond slow, it was just 15-20 minutes before you were engaged if you were lucky. So either drink slow or order 2...

Didn't eat here but stopped for drinks. Was so relaxing and not very busy. It's down alley and we almost missed it.

Great place with fantastic Schnitzel, very pleasant atmosphere and friendly service.

Very cool atmosphere, I stumbled on this place while walking down a narrow alley. Very busy but I was able to find a space at the bar. servers were very friendly and helpful (English) and the English menu was also very nice. Beers were delicious and the schnitzel was the best I've had in Regensburg. Will definitely return

Nice place, good people and very tasty chicken escalope! One of the tastiest even! The service is friendly ... The manager knows to speak English. It is not though located on a main street, but not far from it; you need to get into a small way to reach it. It is within the old city, but not in its center (somehow to its western edge.) There is also a beer garden; maybe I will try it next time a visit the place. The atmosphere is fine.

Had a great lunch here! As an Australian visitor It was great to eat some classic Bavarian food. The service was extremely attentive and friendly.

We Wall by and decided to drop in for a beer. Very charming and romantic inside with a beer garden in the back. We ordered a couple of beers and then the waitress tempted us with Kaiserschmarrn. Really big and really good. Would definitely go back when in Regensburg again.

Nice ambiance but unfortunately service was not what we expected. Food arrival was extremely too long to receive.

Great heart Bavarian food served in a warm and cozy ambiance. The waiters are very friendly and speak English well. Get the snitzel. You won't regret it.

Great service, great food! The staff was very friendly and great with kids. The food was delicious and traditional. The experience couldn't have been better. I recommend the schweinebraten mit dunkelbiersoße und knödel (under Grandmother's recipes on the menu). The krautsalat that comes with it is also very fresh and tasty. The restaurant is well sized, stationed in the middle of Regensburg and quite affordable.

Best potatoe salad, I'd love the receipe. Long wait for dinner staff was not overly friendly.
