Dick´s Bar & Bistro

I had an amazing time staying at The Yeatman, and one of the highlights of my trip to Porto was the wonderful bar at the hotel. The view was beautiful, but what truly made the experience special was the exceptional service from Amar Thapa. I visited the bar frequently during my 7-night stay, and every single visit was enjoyable thanks to him. I don’t know much about wine, but he always explained everything in a clear, friendly, and professional way. His recommendations were spot-on and made me look forward to coming back each time. Because of Amar, the bar became one of my favorite places in the hotel. I genuinely hope his hard work and kindness are recognized—he made my stay unforgettable, and I would highly recommend this place because of him.

The best view or Porto, hands down. We each enjoyed a drink while taking in the city. Our server was incredible. Born and raised in Porto, he encouraged us to explore the patio and walked through some of the history of the city we were looking at. This place will be on my recommendation list for anyone I know visiting Porto.

I had an excellent experience at Dick’s Bar. The drinks were outstanding, and the overall service exceeded expectations. Amar, our server, was exceptionally courteous, attentive, and ensured that every detail of our visit was perfect. His professionalism and friendly demeanor truly enhanced the experience.

We had to be a bit tricky to get inside since we were not guests of the hotel itself, but if you ask the reception they are very accomodating. We had a cocktail and admired the view for a while. Cocktails were great and the staff very helpful and kind.

Service and food were not good. We felt unwelcome. For a 5* hotel the chesees they served us and the wine list were really poor. The views are amazing but I would not recommend this place.

Great quiet bar to enjoy some drinks and a lovely view. The service from the staff is impeccable and you will feel well taken care of.

The cocktails and wine were absolutely amazing and the view is SPECTACULAR! Sit on the terrace if you can. Don’t bother ordering the food - would feel like a rip off at half the price they charged. Out of our group of 5+ people only one said ‘it is passable’.
