I came in on Friday with my 87 year old father looking for new sneakers that would provide, support, comfort , some degree of cushioning. He broke his hip a month ago, so I was looking for advice. LIAM, the sales man in the shoe department was FANTASTIC. He is friendly, knowledgeable, offered his advice and suggestions based on the list sneakers I had brought with me, and his experience. He is a young man on a path to the medical field. Wishing him all the best in his future. Thank you so much for your help. We left feeling comfortable that we chose a great sneaker that is best for my father’s needs.

Great spot for tourists! You can really see how much Boston cares about its local baseball and basketball teams here. The store is full of fun fan gear and sports apparel. Overall, it’s a great store—I couldn’t resist buying something, so I picked up a baseball glove!

One of the managers named Jordan was so helpful. I had such a sublime experience. First off, he helped my friend get her Uggs from the back of the store, he endured a treacherous journey to retrieve them for us: the ladder. He then asked some philosophical questions, like why is there no female Skims apparel? he was very insight and eloquent with his speech and articulate about his passion for his job. He knew the ups and downs of the flagship store like the back of his hand and was able to convince us to buy new cozy socks for the season. He truly wowed us with his western twang and he has really brought charm to boston! Tis the season of exemplary customer service!

Dear Dick's, It might be a good idea, in your relatively new, giant store, to have more than two people working your checkout. And if one of them is, hypothetically, wrapped up in a giant return and the only other person at the checkout gets roped into that as well, and if the customer standing at the checkout just trying to buy some of your overpriced gym wear asks another employee if there's another checkout because this is taking a long time, it might be a good idea to ask one of the 10s of people on the floor that day that want to help customers, to come to the aforementioned cash register and take my money, rather than do basically nothing. I just don't think it's too much to ask to check out of a store with no one ahead of you in less than 10 minutes. Sincerely, Customer who gave up waiting and left

Came here today to find a sports top as a present for my father to remember our trip to Boston, the young man that served me his name was Ashton, he was friendly and polite. Several of your other staff were also smiley and friendly, have bought too much and will be back tomorrow to buy a holdall, I could go somewhere else but why would I want to when the service was so good here today.

I shop here a lot and it’s a great place to shop. The customer service is not up there. I have asked the employees for help regarding my coupon and they didn’t know what they were doing or how to help. They also just rush every process they do whether it’s cashing you out or trying to help you find a product. They also aren’t very kind when you ask them if they’re hiring. I’ve applied here before and they were so rude to me and they just jerked me around. I tried to not let that ruin my shopping experience because not everyone at this location is a rude person. I have met some nice employees. As for store selection I just wish they had more sports teams to choose from. You can’t call yourself a sports store if you don’t have a great variety of different sports teams especially with tourists around. Not everyone in Massachusetts is a Boston fan. I do appreciate their outdoor section and their water bottle section. They have nice clothes that suite winter time and summer time. I recommend this store for people that are in need of good clothes, sports equipment,or mugs . However, if you’re the type of customer who needs a lot of help looking for something or trying to process a coupon don’t come here.

This was the best Dick's location we have ever been to. It had everything we wanted/needed and was super clean and well kept. Parking was easy- in the garage and taking the elevator up. And the cashier who rang us out was great.

Super-sized Dick's Sporting Goods on 2 levels. Newly opened last year, it's still slick and feels like a flagship location. Easy access to the Pru. Good selection of inventory because they have the room for it. Fairly well staffed - it's not hard to find someone to help you when you need it. Pricing is reasonable - what you'd expect from Dick's

This Dick's Sporting goods is located in the heart of Back bay area of Boston. Next to the Prudential mall. It is actually connected to it I think. Its a major store with alot of space and they also have a climbing wall for kids which is pretty cool. The climbing wall you can see while walking pass this store. The few times i have been in here it has been hard to track down someone that works here to get help from them. When I was here for Boston Marathon weekend they had some mannequins dressed up in marathon stuff but their selection was not as big as I'd thought it would be for such a big event!

I am going to give this location a good review. The store was clean, well stocked, and ginormous! The shoe dept, which I usually find a big headache at Dicks, was well staffed with extremely helpful employees. I truly wish I took their names because there were 3 that stood out. My daughter works at a smaller, Central Mass store, and was impressed with the inventory. The store is huge. I need an elevator and it was quick and not packed. I should note I shopped on a Thursday afternoon but it was pretty busy. Beautiful store, lots of items, impressive Yeti and Stanley selection and displays. Fun memorabilia from local athletes too. Located in the touristy section of the city, this store receives heavier traffic that other Dick's. For shoes, customers can use a kiosk to expedite trying on shoes instead of waiting to find an associate. This might be confusing for people who have not seen it before. People are probably giving bad reviews because this store is actually busy...

Huge store with very little merchandise actually there. Lots of name brands but very little selection. Weird colors etc. tons of yeti coolers everywhere but I have no idea how this store will make it as no one ever uses the simulators and rock climbing wall. Wish them luck though. The service was amazing as they have about 100 employees everywhere.

This dick store had the greatest selection of golf merchandise I have ever seen. They carried a brand of golf shoes that I don't see very often, and I ended up buying a pair.

Underwhelming. Looked for running shoes. They have a ton of them. But aside from the employee greeting people at the front door I saw maybe one other person working there. Went a block away and bought shoes at a different store.

Super disappointed for a new store. Absolutely no squash equipment and AFAICT no inline skating gear. Tons of (ugh) pickleball stuff however. This store is 90% clothing. If you are looking for actual sporting equipment, look elsewhere.

WOW !!! what a store. this place is huge, mostly shopped in the footwear area while the kids were waiting for the rock wall, the footwear had a great selection and biggest floor around, even thou the amount of people in the department I had great service from Eddie and Mark in footwear

I went to dicks the house of sport location in backbay twice once last week and this week Tuesday and can I just say what fabulous customer service the young woman said her name was Milo from the time I walked in and left she was pure sunshine I never seen customer service like this especially in the city of Boston ..I also had one of my closest friends check out the store who is blind who also had the pleasure with interacting with Milo he said she took the time out to read him the story behind the child in the wheelchair one of the displays they had an conversation about education she's an graduate of an computer science and culinary degree .. this young woman has made his time there an good experience and I want to say thank u .. I'm from Michigan and I will be back .. so Milo thank u...

Today's Celtics meet and greet was badly organized and many people including my family were frustrated by misleading information that was provided by Dicks staff while the majority of people stood in the rain for an addition 3 hrs. The reason and we understood that if you were not 1 of the 100 to receive a bracelet there would be a secondary line that will be formed that the chances were pretty good to have a chance to meet with the Celtics. Many people waited an additional 3 hrs a lot of us 6hrs from first arrival into the secondary line. First not only did the Celtics arrive LATE 12:15 instead of 12 and leave a few minutes after 1pm. But the secondary line was brought in , just to be turned away. That made everyone furious that they did not take even 1 person from that secondary line but turned all the people away. You as a staff should have told all the people well ahead of time that there was no chance in that secondary line instead of making them wait in the rain...and mind there were a lot of little kids in that line. So really disappointing and I am sure I won't be the first to indicate this. Oddly enough Dicks staff had indicated to several us to voice a complaint..and this is defiantly reason to. Plus by the way it did not say anything is your disclaimer that Basketballs would be signed in the event just a Dicks card..which even caused more of a delay. A once in a lifetime event turned into a horrible experience. Re read you disclaimer and then investigate how your practices were deployed at todays event.
