This place is a horror show if you're looking for swim gear They're all jumbled together in a mess of brands and styles and sizes. The few that are organized are up way too high to grab with no pole nearby and no human to assist. They have fitting rooms but they are locked and there is no one anywhere around to let you in. After spending several minutes digging through the suits that were reachable to find a few I wanted to try on I then spent several minutes looking for a human to allow me to try them on. Finally I gave up and left empty-handed. I drove here from some distance. What a colossal waste of a day

They have all the sports equipment. It's really nice here.

So much selection and great prices, right now they have 25% off certain items , staff are all happy to help

Come down for the Black Friday deals folks. This store was huge and you named it , they got them all . It was obviously for sport super store for sport enthusiasts to come and shop. Some have a good sale prices some still a little high, but the quality was top notch. As I expected, it was busier than usual because it was Friday during thanksgiving ‘s week. Everyone was busy to look for the deals. Well I got something I was looked for with a great deal. Me very happy no complaints there. Services were fast and friendly, there were lines but they moved quickly. Happy shopping people will be back for Christmas time sale.

This store is beautiful 😍 The selection is amazing and the customer service is exceptional! It was my first time shopping here and I highly recommend it. I bought my first pair of HOKA athletic shoes and I love them. I will return!

Came in on 6.22.24 around 7:30 pm and I was looking for adult football gloves and the section was not priced and incorrect in some areas. It was confusing but Jena the cashier asked her manager Arlene if they can honor the price and they did. I did appreciate the customer service I received today because good customer service is hard to find nowadays.

I brought my son for a new pair of basketball shoes. Anthony H. helped us out with a great style of shoe and made sure it fit perfectly on my son. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. Thank you Anthony!! George 😊👍

The staff don’t help you. I waited for my son to tryout a bat for an hour. We asked the multiple staff multiple times if we could try it out but the just didn’t help. At the end we left without him trying the bat out, a bunch of jerks.

I went into Dick's sporting goods in Cerritos on Friday. I was assisted by Isabel M. She was AMAZING she's so kind and professional with a smile on her face. This is not my first time going there but I have never had anyone in that store help me the way she did. I've had some bad experiences in the past with other staff who weren't nice. But, Isabel was truly helpful, she was very detailed on answering my questions with all the questions I had, I give Isabel 5 stars these stars are for HER not for the store. Whoever is the store Manager she deserves a raise and appreciate good employeesokebher! Nowadays youngsters have jobs but No good customer service skills and are Rude. Thank you Isabel and I will be coming back and will be bringing all the baseball teams to by gear here.

Came to this store around 1pm today. The manager here was the worst. The service was horrible. I tried to do a simple exchange and they wouldn't do it! It was stupid. Tags were still on it, had receipt, but no. The selection at Dicks is better than say Big 5. I come here a lot but they lost a customer.

Store is BIG like way big. It's big enough though to find basically everything you could want or need in sporting goods. Came one day, with the fam, basically went till close. We loaded up on baseball gear and were pleasantly surprised by selection and how informative and helpful the guy helping us was. Shoutout to Kaleb helped my husband was super informative and really kind. Helped him try to problem solve a new Dicks card issue and wasn't annoyed we were there till close doing it. Good value in gear for the money, had some good sale stuff too. As for employees, at least with the guy who helped us great employee help and info, and overall problem solving.. Promote Kaleb, sucks sporting goods. He's great.

I have been looking for a chair to take to concerts in the park. Some are oversized and my feet don't reach the ground. Some are too heavy. Others are too low to see the stage. I finally found my summer folding chair. It is RED ( I love red) and folds so it can be carried in a bag. It is very comfortable and sturdy. There are 2 drink holders. Check out line was short and quick.

Ordered on line..... big mistake!!! My almost complete order was wrong. Luckily most of the stuff actually fit. Except one sweater. I called customer service and was told to go ahead and come to this location because they were not able to help me on line. The size I was looking for they were currently out. Anyway Long Story short the problem was solved here at the store. The cashier Cedrik honored what I was told on the phone. Helped us right away. Very understanding.... Thank you so much. Next time I will just shop here in person!!!

We went to the shoes area 5:45pm Friday 9/6/24. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Three guys stands around and I walked up to ask about a pair of shoes because I was walking around in the area for 5 minutes and I like to try some shoes. The I got yelled at if I wanted "white". I was confused and another guy still laughing at me that he said "wide". I made a comment to my wife maybe I should have gone to Footlocker instead then another worker there started to whisper to the third worker and they started to look at us with a smirk on their faces. Very rude. This will be the last time I even walk in to that store.

Something about this store makes me keep coming back. Maybe it's because I grew up around here, back in the Sportsmart days, and got used to having a sports store nearby. Came here during Covid times and even now still come for their golf and clothing section. I like their offers and really enjoy the extra discounts through their website (and online pickup)

be careful parking here, someone tried to steal my car and now I have to pay to get the lock replaced. This store the parking lot is technically the backside of the mall so be careful.

Customer service was good until they suspected me for stealing a box of shoes after giving the box to another employee he was in front of because they didn't have my size and the employee that accused me of stealing the box and didn't want to say it to me but asked my friends who were in the store with me and then he went to ask his other employee to say where I put the box.

What an amazing first time experience at dicks. Stopped by today to purchase my first driver. Cash was such a great help. He answered all of my questions very patiently and assisted through my entire shopping experience. He helped me out with selecting gloves as well. I am new to golf. I had way more questions than the average customer, Cash answered them all with a smile. What a great customer service representative. I will be back to finish building my set thanks again Cash.

This was the last shot I gave to find my son his helmet for football. I ordered one and they sent the wrong size in the correct box. I went in twice and no one was able to help me in The football department. Today a staff named Roy helped me out to figure out the perfect size for my son. He saw I was struggling to figure out a helmet choice and offered to help. He honestly was a life saver because I was about to have someone take my son to buy his helmet because I couldn't figure out the correct size for him. I walked out very happy because Roy helped us find the correct fit . Thank you Roy for not only helping us but going out of your way to ask if we needed the assistance and knowing your football stuff.

Called customer service 3 times to see if I would be able to return an item. First 2 times I was hung up on by a man before I was able to complete a sentence, third time I was finally helped by a different man. I don't understand the rudeness when I had barely gotten 3 words out.

Helpful employees who guide me the right spot I needed. I was looking for a duffle bag to go outside often. Able to perfectly purchase with 2 different ones in stock there. Lines are moved efficiently earlier on an afternoon weekday. This place had a lot of things filled on shelves.

Can't really recommend this place if you have large or above average kids. My kids play baseball, football and soccer. I've been let down many times here before. My 3 boys are all above average height and weight. It seems like they only have small and medium sizes for all sports. You'll find a large or Xlarge if your lucky.

Employees say a price from scanner and at register they give you another price.When you ask a question it's not there department and wait for someone not coming. They don't honer the price given and claim human error. Big 5 is better or Amazon

My experiences at Dick's Sporting Goods in Cerritos have consistently been disappointing. The service is consistently lacking, and the overall atmosphere is chaotic and messy. Unfortunately, many employees seem to lack basic customer service skills, which is frustrating. Given the closures of stores like Sports Authority and Sports Chalet, Dick's has become a default choice for sporting needs, making the subpar experience at the Cerritos location more unfortunate. It's evident that there are management and staffing issues that need attention for a more positive shopping experience.

Was on shoes section and poor customer service, they treat us very bad, I asked some questions about shoes size, they ignored me, they didn't even give us options, Also I ask for some glasses , they never show up, Very bad service

My first visit to Dick's. Parking was super simple, ample spots available. I was in search of a set of 5lb and 10lb hand weights. The weights were located on the 2nd floor, I ended up spending about an hour shopping on the 1st floor lol. The quality of inventory was amazing! I did finally make it upstairs and that was another play land. The service personnel was really great- from entry to check out. My 2nd visit, I took my time shopping but I admit I stayed on the first floor again. Lol looking forward to my 3rd visit soon!

I don't understand the low ratings. This location is always fully stocked and furnished! Very clean with staff roaming around most of the time! Also connected to the back of the mall so come in for easier access to the Cerritos mall! But all your Great brands for outdoor in and indoor! All sports and all QUALITY brands! Great service and Greta products at your disposal!

The employee Francesca was aggressive and rude and overwhelmingly unpleasant. She was incapable of apologizing for the shoe order error and she was unable to kindly explain store policy.

I don't think anybody works here. Biggest store in the mall with no employees. I think they were all trying to avoid customers.

Came here to get an Orange Whip golf swing trainer and the website said there were 2 in stock here but they weren't out on the floor. Store associate was helping one customer already so I waited for about 10-15 minutes. A manager had to be called for the other customer, and during the time they're just waiting for the manager to come, I decide to ask if he could see if the Orange Whips are in the back. He asks me to wait for the other customer to finish being helped. Understandable, and so I wait until BOTH he and the manager (two employees) help this one customer for another 10 minutes. After the other customer leaves, the associate who asked me to wait and has seen me staying close by to be helped just walks away. Blew me off completely and pretended to not see me and I just stare in awe as he walks away from me. I am eventually helped by a different, more helpful employee and the Orange Whip is retrieved from the back in like 2 minutes. Which is why I'm not giving 1 star. I waited close to half an hour for would have been 2 minutes of work.

They sent me dirty, worn adidas shoes that were supposed to be white and instead had hard to remove black scuffs all over them. They offered me $15 off which doesn't seem to be enough considering I purchased shoes and they came used.. do better!

Especially if you're looking for a basketball court The person that was there didn't even try to sell us anything it like Not even now he was very denser. Interested I would say screw Dicks in Cerritos.

I love this store because it has a variety of anything you need to stay active. I purchased a lot of work out clothes and they have every brand and almost every size to satisfy my needs and wants. The employees are very helpful. I always feel welcomed when I come here.

My family and I were visiting family in Los Angeles and before heading back home to the Bay Area needed to by some sports gear specifically baseball and lacrosse gear as we would not have time before hand when we got home and the kids needed the gear. Looked up what was close by and Dicks popped up. Truthfully the reviews kinda had me hesitant but I shop at Dicks back home so I kinda know how it goes when you shop at one of the big box stores. In saying that reviews were pretty on point, it did take a while to get help especially in the shoe section it just seemed that not enough employees to handle the crowd especially on a Sunday morning but these are the times we are living in and I'm a chill person to begin with so I don't get to mad or anything and understand all the workers go through. I will say the guy that helped me out was on point and did a good job in helping all customers that needed it and the checkout girl was nice as well. Like the saying goes it is what it is, I would go there again if needed.

I feel it is a well stocked store and well organized. Helpful staff as well. I would give them a 4 Star rating but they eliminated firearms department. They had a great firearms counter. They had good prices and great selection of firearms and ammo. Removing that department really was disappointing and makes this store not nearly as good as it was before. My girlfriend Paris and I went to this store on July 7th and she bought some shoes for her nephew back in China. The selection was good and the clerk was very helpful.

I was trying to exchange a Chargers t-shirt for a bigger size and noticed that the Cerritos store did not carry it. Justin was kind and patient enough to handle the transaction for me - he first double-checked to see if the style was available in the store. Not seeing it, he checked online, and seeing it, asked if I was okay if the t-shirt be ordered and shipped. He proceeded with the online order for me and shipping was taken care. Great customer service!!! Dick's is definitely a place to shop for all things sport-related, especially with this kind of customer service!!!

Took my daughter shopping for a basketball and asked her to go check them out while I finished my shopping and come to find out that the staff told her rudely "are you done". This is not want I want out of a sporting good store. Definitely ruined our Black Friday experience. We go to the mall and this store for the experience if not we would just shop online. I will never be ok with staff being rude to my children ever, special when my children where not disrespectful in the first place. So she didn't deserve to be talked to disrespectfully.

Got on the internet looking for a item and it said Cerritos has it in a stock I called to confirm the gentleman that answered the phone said he has it. He'll put it on hold for me. I want to Cerritos location I showed them a picture of the item and they brought out a different item twice not a good idea. Thanks for nothing.

I bought soccer cleats from this ( adidas predator edge) place and I thought they were good they were about $250 somewhere around there but they only lasted me for 8 months and it's not worth it. First it's so expensive and second they don't even last long. my other cleats which I bought on the adidas app last 3 years they were the nemeziz. these cleats last like 8 months not even half of what my other cleats lasted. both of the cleats have a hole on the same side they are really bad quality cleats and I don't recommend anyone buying cleats for this place.

Chris was talking to us in a very inappropriate place, he called us "dicks". He wasn't letting us shop even though we did nothing wrong. I would appreciate if he was punished. There were some people asking for help and he couldn't help them so us, the shoppers, helped them. By the way shout out to Calvin, huge help, he is actually helped us and told us where to get stuff.

I just bought a pair of running shoes from this location. It seemed very busy and I was ignored by a few workers until this young female , I believe her name was Lulu, came up to me and helped me out. She was very friendly and helpful, and I can tell that she genuinely cared. Thank you for making my day!

Located at the Cerritos Mall near Macy's and the movie theater. Big parking lots of course but filled up fast due to the mall and the movie theater especially on the weekends if you are just going here you may end up parking far away like I did on a Friday night. My timing was definitely not good coming here. The store is two levels it's almost a mirrored image like the store at Del Amo Mall in Torrance. Pretty much exactly where merchandise is. Overall this store was nice and clean and I'd come back to this one as long as I time it right when coming.

PROS: - huge selection of items for any activity or sport. - huge parking lot, considering it's located at Cerritos Mall. - their prices are decent but not the lowest. CONS: - it's sometimes hard to locate employees there to ask questions or ask for a price check.

Wish they had a Dicks sporting goods closer to home buuut when I'm in need of some workout gear or shoes that I know I want more of a selection this is my go to store. Love that it's 2 stories. And lots of variety. Could use a little more but they do carry a lot of clothing and accessories. If you can't find what your looking for there your best bet is it's online only lol! Lots of different accessories for pretty much every sport. They also sell lots of team sports as well. The usual, USC, UCLA, Dodgers..etc. Don't expect a price break than usual, most things are regular price for the most part. Customer service though could definitely use some work..and the fitting rooms are always full. Need more for as big as the store is. But a plus that you can enter through Dicks and then takes you into the mall.

Laguna Hills store out of stock, checked inventory and sent me to Misssion Viejo. MV didn't have in stock, but sold me a differnt color of the same model, Adidas Predator Edge +, however on returning home found they sold me the Edge.1 instead of the +, which has better materials. Returned to MV store and ordered the correct model and color, only to have Dick's cancel the order 2 days later. Have been a steady customer of Dicks for over 25 years...no more. Inventory system sucks, look elsewhere of you want reliability.

Bought something from Dick's for a Christmas present. It arrived broken. Went to my local store to exchange, they didn't have it in stock. I asked for a refund, which they were glad to give me for the price of the product, but they would not refund the shipping costs I paid. WTF. So I waited a week for a product which arrived broken, drove miles to a close by Dick's to return the product and got stuck for shipping fees. About two hours of my time and aggavation to be out about $8.00. Screw them, I'll stick with Amazon.

I don't think their employees are eell training to help people..you ask for aside of shoes and any brand they said don't have probably because he thinks I can't afford and don't want to waste time that the problem and many places like this the teenager don't have respect and boundries.....

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! Called to ask if they had an item in stock and ive been on the phone for over 18 minutes getting transferred every couple minutes! Playing phone games when someone is trying to purchase an expensive item is not to smart!!!!

Came here to get an estimate on fixing a bicycle. Now this was the first Dicks I had been to in California and i must say the first thing you notice is "IT IS BIG", 2 stories big. Second thing i notice, no one to ask where to go or directory to help guide us. After searching out a staffer we were directed to the second floor. When we arrived a staffer was already helping another customer so we waited off to the side. SADLY no acknowledgment that we were there and a moment later the employee left with the customer and again no acknowledgment. Figuring he would be back shortly me and my group decided to check out some.of the bikes. We were wrong. After waiting 15 - 20 minutes 2 of us decided to split off to find a staffer and wouldn't you know it that's exactly when he came back. The employee gave my friend a quote, nothing more nothing less. So no complaints here but no praises either. On a side note -the bike selection was moderate and priced to match -the bike services felt generic and things you could look up online to DIY -i would recommend a smaller (mom n pop) shop to get staff that may be more passionate about fixing/selling you a bike

So..... the Cerritos location should drop the SORTING GOODS moniker. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing in there for sports unless you want to wear "sports logo" clothing. It's a clothing store period. No Soccer balls, basketballs,baseballs no baseball gloves no cleats nothing in the way of sporting goods. This is the worst Dicks location I've ever been to, and never will go back to.

Wow! This store was so huge and it also has a second floor . Bottom floor you see all the clothes, and everything for sports, second floor also has weights equipment, bicycles and other stuffs like Golf Clubs shoes etc... I used to shop at big 5 before but this is much bigger and has more stuffs. Anything that sports requires or needs this store has it all. The workers here were friendly and went extra miles to make sure you got all the answers you needed. Since it was Black Friday sales therefore the store was busy and the lines weren't that bad at all. It moved very fast , it took us around 10 minutes that we were out of the store.
