Stand-alone store with no working bathrooms. The employees, as they should, have facilities, but not the paying customers, including the mom who had two kids-- who will have to now leave the store and search for relief if they can even hold it that long.

They have disabled parking across from the front entrance, but please be careful when crossing the street because cars fly through the parking lot too quickly. The doors to enter are motion-activated, and once inside, there is a motorized cart you can sit on and shop with to the left of the front entrance. This store is VERY large so if walking is difficult for you, please use this. There is also curbside pick up if you want to use that option and never leave your vehicle. Experience: SO EXPENSIVE, but really nice clothing, shoes, accessories, and everything sports related. They have a running section, camping, golf, snowboarding, and more. The employees are all very nice and one helped me find the shoes we were looking for!

Ordered a kids bike online, well in advance of the date I needed the bike ready. Got the ready for pick up email so i picked up the next day. Meaning they had time to double check it. Brought the bike home only to find out it was assembled poorly. Handle bars were tilted completely downward, tires needed air, nothing was tightened, break screws not tight, reflectors loose.. etc. only reason I am giving two stars is because the nice gentleman that walked me out with the bike loaded into my car.

Came in to purchase 2 pairs of hoka boots for work but they don't carry them in store and can't get them in store before purchase to make sure a $200+ dollar pair of shoes fits properly, not very sound thinking cause you just lost on on another purchase , tryed to give yiu guys another shot and I continue to question why I wasted time driving to the store when these shenanigans are affoot

This store is a joke. I came here last week before opening to steam my glove, they said it needed to warm up so I walked around the store while it warmed up. 30 min later the employee told me the steamer wasn’t working that it was stuck at a certain temp. Didn’t say hey sorry for the inconvenience, nothing. I came by today. The store is a mess you can’t even walk through aisles. Then two female employees are hanging around chatting then riding through the store on some sort of rolling rack or something. I get the glove steamed (should have been free from what happened last time but whatever) and when I go to pay the girl says it’s going to be $20 when the sign says $15. I told her I’m not paying $20 it should be $15 and she said oh the signage is wrong. Well that’s not my problem. Someone should be doing their job and fix the sign that’s false advertisement. It should have also been free because we bought a glove and bat with our purchase but I’m not going to argue. Disgusting dirty unorganized store with horrible employees. No customer service whatsoever.

I'm looking at Shoes trying to get help and one girl is helping a customer another is walking all around me ignoring me when she finally acknowledged me and I was able to ask a question she quickly walked off after and left me without any assistance. I had questions about specific shoes that are priced over 100 so I definitely want to make sure I get the right ones but instead I was met with terrible customer service. I'll just have to go somewhere else and buy them maybe there they will care to assist me even if I have to pay more it would be worth it.

This photo is from August. We had been searching high and low in the store for this specific color Stanley in a 30 ounce. Torrey happened to walk by us and overheard us on our search and joined. She asked a nearby manager if she could go to the back and look for it. We learned she loved Stanley's as well and she was on a mission to help my 10 year old get the one she wanted for the start of school. She went to the back in 2 different areas and about 10 minutes later came back with the last one in the store!! Torrey is such a vibe! Super friendly and great customer service!!! We will come back to Dick's because of people like her.

My son needed something for sports and Target didn't have it. It's not that far from the Target. Same shopping center. Each section we were at we were greeted by someone asking if we needed help finding anything. When checking out there was no line and the Cashier Justice was so nice and friendly. Clean store and they give a military discount!!

On the search for comfortable walking shoes. Parking was a breeze and the store was clean. We were greeted upon entry by the staff. They have a decent selection of Nikes, adidas, brooks, new balance etc. Andrew was a great help in pulling shoes for us. They unfortunately didn't have the size we needed in the shoe we preferred but he was able to see that the neighboring dicks had them. We were able to easily order them online for store pick up. Overall good experience.

I highly discourage anyone from coming here for golf repairs or builds. I have visited a few times over the past 2 years and the gentlemen in the golf section (older and bald) has been extremely rude and condescending every time. I have never seen such unprovoked poor customer service in any industry. On top of that, his workmanship is poor. He did not sand down the ferrule on one club and put the grip on crooked on another. Go elsewhere.

Tip - Check out their website before buying something elsewhere. I found a pair of shoes for $50 less at Dick's online than from anywhere else during one of their flash sale. - Prices are actually the same or better than target on many items. - Staff working the floor are very helpful. - Cashiers are not very helpful. - Coupons and sales

My friends and I come here for racquet restringing services even though we have 2 Dicks sporting goods that are closer to our house. The staff member who handles the racquet restringing work is very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He can usually fix it in a day or two. That's amazing. You can see he cares about doing a good job. We have come here multiple times to this store to get the racquets repaired and we always end up also shopping for sporting goods. I end up buying more stuff. We like this store however it needs one change. We wished the racquet restringing paperwork was at the registers ready to go so we can get the paperwork done at once. When customers need to go back n forth from the register to the service repair desk n get back in line to register to pay for string, n go back to service desk - it's very inefficient and bothersome.

I've never thought I would be doing a review of a sporting good store but here we are! I needed some new shoes but the store I would goto is gone now, so I started calling around because 13E can be a a issue. Called a couple of stores but no luck, then I called Dicks and spoke with Kaitlyn. Well she was awesome!! She asked style I let her know what brand I was looking for And size info, she said hang on maybe 2 mins later she was back on the phone and had the shoes! She said she could put a tag on it and just goto the cashier and they would have it ready for me. It was there ready for me at the cashiers. Bria was pretty awesome also! Let know where I could try them out. Overall experience was great! And fast!

Mr. Marshall (or Michael), the lead team member in the golf section, was rude, harsh, and condescending when my husband, myself and our two year old daughter were testing out golf clubs in the put-put area. If we did something we weren't supposed to do (using golf balls to test out the clubs), he could have handled it in a much more professional and respectful way. My daughter was scared and uncomfortable and that's enough to make me never shop here again. Please do something about that miserable, power-hungry man.

Second time Dicks on Auto Parkway in Escondido has ripped me off. The first time may have been an innocent mistake. I let cashier/manager that if it happens again, l would leave a bad review among other actions. They did it again, charging me a few dollars more on two different items that weren't even sale items. I feel like a sucker enough paying full retail for items, but when Dicks charges you even more than full pop, it's disgraceful. I actually liked shopping Dicks. I will, going forward, think of them as scam artists. Too bad.

Came in to pickup a few things. Had my 2 year old daughter in line with me to check out. One cashier who took 10-15 minutes to check out a girl he was clearly flirting with.... Look I have no problem with flirting, but when you make us wait in line for over ten minutes so you can carry on a conversation, it's a little much. I suggest Vincent get some customer service training. Thankfully another guy noticed we had all been waiting forever and opened up another register.

Big store, and lots of selections. The cashier scanned all of our items, and out of nowhere, he (seemingly randomly) picked up one of the items to scan it again. We pointed it out, and then he removed the extra scan. It was difficult to see how he could have done that simply by mistake. Wow!

We come here for all our sporting goods needs because they are the closest to our house and the other big chains are all out of business or going out of business. The pros? Staff is super friendly. Staff is knowledgeable. They have decent prices on clearance items. (I love a good bargain) They have swim goggles that cover your nose (and no, it's not a snorkel mask) Cons It can be hard to get into the dressing room. They are a little pricey. Bottom line? I'm going to keep coming here because I have no other choice. But at least they make me feel like they value my business and that's worth every penny.

I ordered a pair of sneakers online from Dick's and received them with glue stains that I couldn't get off. I went to go exchange them at this location, because this was the next closest location with my size in stock. I tried on the sneakers at the store, but they didn't fit well like the one I received, so the staff was nice enough to use a shoe cleaner and clean off the stain for me. Not the stores fault, but it would have been nice if Dick's Headquarters inspected the sneakers first prior to delivering!

It made me so sick to open up the packages to find the rolling rod rack is missing half its parts and the plastic box organizers do NOT have dividers. I don't see how they can stay in business with this shit. Customer service is crap too!!!

Are used to buy all my gym clothing at Dick's. I love their selection and I always love their service. I don't shop there anymore. I join their group, an active shopper, and a loyal customer for years. I stopped Buy because I was close to the store and thought I go in and buy some shorts or shirts or shoes. I received a coupon in the mail. But didn't have it with me. At Macy's they would know I was an important customer. At Dick's they said sorry can't help you. Even with my phone number. Sorry corporate policy.Well dicks lost me because they didn't want my business and when I confronted the store manager at the Escondido location she said so sorry have a nice day. Never again

Do NOT go here for any Co2 filling needs! Drove to this location 30 miles from home to get my son's C02 bottles filled as this location is listed as doing so. Got there at 4:45 and walking around the store looking for a living soul to help us. Not one employee was to be found. Went to back of store and found a "Push for Assistance" button. 5 minutes later, a guy came from the back and we said we needed to get two tanks filled. He got on his radio and after a few more minutes told us the only guy that can do it just went on break and that we should go to the cashier and pay and that when "the" guy came back he would fill them for us. Went to cashier station to find 2 cashiers but neither knew anything about filling tanks and would need to call another gal to help us. A few more minutes later the new gal searched the cabinets for a sku sheet just for Co2 filling. 10 minutes later they rang up 1- 20oz fill and 1 - 24oz fill. Had me write my name and phone number on a scrap of paper and asked me to come back in 45 minutes. Went to eat dinner and came back an hour later. Went to cashier to pickup the tanks just to be told "the guy just got started on them and it would be a few more minutes" ... another 10 minutes later, "the guy" came walking up to ask about picking up the tanks that needed filling. He walked by me with the 24oz tank stating he would only fill to 20oz as that's all the do. Directed "the guy" to their own web site showing the 24oz fill and price and showed him the receipt with the 24oz sku and charge... he walked off mumbling .... another 1/2 hour later he came back with them. 2-1/2 hours later I left with partially filled tanks :( NEVER EVER shop there.

We had a great experience here with Ricky. He was the BEST. He was so helpful and kind. He helped us with a punching bag and a weight set. He helped load it into our truck and had a great attitude. Bailee was the cashier and she left much to be desired. She was pissy and had a really poor attitude. We also found some of the selections to be either great or poor with no in between, which was a bit of a bummer.

Probably one of the if not the lamest sporting good store I have been to. Need simple items for tball player. Cleats,socks,belt. They had none of the above? Ok I went to the cleats section to check I asked for help that would not show up. Then when he finally showed up I asked for help and he just pointed me to the cleats and i said I need help with a certain size this guy would not help me for the life of him! Called Carmel mountain and they were much more helpful. Don't waste your time here I had to go to big 5 to get what I needed and that's the truth because they didn't have anything

Big store. I was initially impressed with the all the items they carry. Walked around for a little bit checking things out. They have a huge selection of items for sale. I priced checked a couple of items and they seemed competitive to other locations around town. I am not sure how staff is, I saw 2 or 3 staff members walking the floor which did not seem like a lot for the store size.

So. I hate dicks sporting good. Their online customer service is the worst and they 100% f'd my order up. But this store here the staff was polite and that's all I can really say. I only went here to return my stuff. I will say it sucks they don't have any jerseys in store which is why I had to order online. Was sad to see them get robbed last night. Luckily I caught the getaway van on my dashcamera for my car and hopefully can get the license plates. As much as I hate dicks customer service, this store has done nothing wrong for me.

I had quite the experience with Dick's sporting goods today. I purchased a demo shaft and paid for the installation a little over six weeks ago. When I finally got out to the course, three swings in the head was loose. So when I go in to hopefully receive an apology and get it reinstalled, the golf attendant claimed the shaft was broke. And then he goes on to say that since it is a demo shaft there is nothing he can do. I am under the implication that I was sold a broken shaft at a discounted rate and sent on my way. Nobody else deserves this kind of nonsense. Normally a company will do stuff to keep their customers, but it seemed like he just did not care about the fact that he scammed me. If you have anything for golf in interest, go absolutely anywhere else

This location has horrible customer service, I waited for far too long in the check out with not a single other person in line while three employees just chit chatted behind the registers. Finally I was acknowledged but the employee who checked me out seemed spaced out. They need to hire people who want to work rather than hire high school students who couldn't give two shits. I'll stick to online shopping since it's more pleasant.

Shop here pretty often and I don't mind it, the young people that work there are pretty friendly and even had a few encounters with the Manager who is a super nice guy. But there's this guy Michael the old GolF Pro, Total Dick never wants to help always short with you makes me go across the street to Golf mart for all my Golf stuff just so I don't have to Deal with him. I have a Dicks credit card just to get Golf stuff but never use it because of his attitude. Guess I'll start shopping on Amazon from now on thanks Michael .

I was trying to get attention from a worker to help me locate the biking helmets, when he completely ignored me to help this attractive lady that just entered the store. I hate this Dicks! Does anyone else (of color) get followed, or receive those empty/insincere, "can I help you with something?", when they go here?!?! I'm black, in the military, and I dress proper with a clean look.. My 14 year old son is 6'1 and dresses like a Hipster... However, they made me feel like we were unwelcome, and they acted like we were going to steal something! I'm so done with this Dicks!!

They were pleasant professionals,worked quickly and explained basic equipment use well. They work for a contractor, Select Express/Infinite Assemblies that does installations for Dick's. Worst shopping experience ever....needed help finding my shoe size...all boxes are mixed up...looked around for 10 min and no one ever came by or said hello...once I found a shoe I wanted I started walking around looking for someone and walked up to the men's clothes before I found someone...he said he would call the shoe person...this guy was just moving displays around...i guess he is not allowed to look in the back for other shoe sizes....i waited another 10 mi. And no one came...i pushed the button for help and still no one came after 5 min....someone pushed the dressing room button and someone showed up to that in less than a minute...i had to approach that person to ask a 2nd time for help with shoes...after wasting about 25min they didn't have my size or even know if more where coming in...horrible experience

Not nearly the size of the one I usually go to Las Vegas, but they sure make up for it here with their service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted but not pestered. After taking a stroll around this place, I finally identified what I was looking for. Because the items I needed were behind glass, assistance was needed. To my surprise, I didn't get one or two associates helping me, I got three. Talk about service at its greatest. When it comes to purchasing something pricey, I do take my sweet ol' time. The associates waited patiently as I decided on my picks. Long story short...I found what I was looking for, got the assistance I needed, and was rang up with no problems. Now I stress "no problems" because every time I buy something at Dick's Sporting Goods, the cashiers have issues finding my rewards account. There has even been multiple times where I either started over with my rewards card or simply gave up. At this location, they found me and fixed the issue, which this whole time happens to be an incorrect phone number for me. Quick and efficient all the way here. I mentioned earlier that this location is smaller than the Las Vegas location. The immediate difference is that this store is only one level. But looking through the place, it appears to have more of a selection. The set up for this Dick's is almost like a Sports Authority where clothes is in the middle, golf to the immediate right, ball sports on the left, and outdoor sports in the back. Since I'm in a Sports Authority a lot, this made my shopping experience a lot easier. A well organized and polite staff at this Dick's"s Sporting Goods. Keep up the good work. I'm sure to come back.

Ok, I really should dock them a star because Saturday night, their checkout line was insane. I know I usually exaggerate just a tad, but the line had to have been 20 deep that night. When we got to the front of the line, the cashier apologized for the wait which I thought was cool. So why am I not deducting a star? Well behind me there was some jacka$$ basically yelling at the cashier about getting more help. I don't know much about how Dick's runs their store but I'm pretty sure it's not the cashiers call to get more help. Also, the shopping experience was very easy. We were looking for a softball bat for my daughter and we were helped immediately. The sales representative stayed there until we found the bat of our liking and directed us to the other items we were looking for. So Dicks, you still get your 4 star rating from me. For the jacka$$ behind me in line, you get no stars just because you were being a butthead.

I love Dick's! Ok that sounded kinda wrong, but you know what I mean... I love this store! It's huge (pun intended) and has a large selection on all your favorite sport brands. The stuff can be expensive, but that's not Dick's fault... a lot of those brands in there carry a big price tag. I like going in here and just browsing around. The employees are very friendly and always offer to help you find something. Overall, a great location and Dick's is way better than Sports Authority down the way.

The worker in the golf section was very rude. He was an older gentleman And he didn't care to answer any of our questions. It seemed like we were bothering him for the simplest thing. He's not very friendly . We asked a question about sizes and all he answered was NOPE. I don't know why they even pay him to stand there and not help anyone.

Not the best experience I've had. Only greeted by one person who was way in the back organizing things in the corner of the store. Walked by many employees who who saw me and just turned and "busy" walked away. Not that I really needed help but I walked all the way to the back of the store to be greeted for the first time and asked if I needed help. Then walking out I hear two employees standing near the door chatting away about personal business.

I walked in just after opening this morning and was greeted by every staff member I came across. I'm not a price shopper. I don't mind paying a little extra if I get amazing customer service. Everyone employee at this store was great. I will definitely be shopping here more often for my sports needs.
