I heart Dick's ....lol. I only shop at Dick's and REI for my active footwear. I love the new color on the Teva sandals - light pink and tan. The ASICS sneakers are also in a new color. Dick's has a great selection of athletic wear. The clothes are too pricey for me, but they're awesome. All active footwear can't be purchased at Marshall's & TJ Maxx because if you wear inexpensive shoes while you exercise, your entire body will pay for it. Shoes & mattresses have to be top quality, and Dick's consistently provides the best sneakers and sandals!

I simply love Dick's store #1019 in Fort Lauderdale...amazing team (Ariele, Junior and Matt) is super attentive to customer needs and always offers a friendly greeting/smile. I highly recommend this team for all bicycle, leisure wear, etc. They have it all in a very organized, clean layout.

First time shopping here!! The outstanding customer service provided by Ligia erased the not so kind greeting from another. She absolutely went above and beyond my expectations!! She even brought additional clothes to the dressing room that she thought I might want to try on!! She definitely knows her merchandise!!! SCORE!!! Great selections and prices!!

My son and I went to get some fishing gear while we were in town visiting for a couple of weeks and Sammy was absolutely awesome! He told us what we needed and got us all set up in just a few minutes. Thanks Sammy, really appreciate your advice!

Google
Outstanding Customer Service at Dick's Sporting Goods Fort Lauderdale! I recently visited Dick's Sporting Goods in Fort Lauderdale, and I must say that my experience was exceptional! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff, who were not only friendly but also genuinely eager to help. I was searching for some specific sports gear, and the associate went above and beyond to assist me. They took the time to understand exactly what I needed and provided valuable recommendations based on their expertise. I appreciated their patience and willingness to answer all my questions. The store was well-organized, making it easy to find what I was looking for. I also noticed that the staff was consistently checking in with other customers, ensuring everyone felt attended to. I left the store feeling valued as a customer, and I am grateful for the assistance I received. I highly recommend visiting Dick's Sporting Goods in Fort Lauderdale for anyone in need of sporting equipment or apparel. Their commitment to excellent customer service truly sets them apart! Thank you, Dick's Sporting Goods team, for making my shopping experience so enjoyable!

Google
There was me and one other customer in the shoe department and two employees working. It took me 30+ minutes to get two shoes for my son - they took so long to grab the shoes and then when they did arrive they were the wrong color. Glad I checked I can only imagine how my son would have responded to me bringing home pink Nikes - I would advise store management to spend less time hanging out by the entrance assuming everybody is stealing and instead treat customers with kindness - otherwise they will make the change to shopping online as there is no benefit to going in person :/

Google
This shop is in a great location to get in and out quickly. There always plenty of the newest color yeti products. And Recently when I went there I was able to buy my mother her favorite players jersey from the Panthers. I also seen there was alot of university of miami clothing there too.

Yelp
Service was still not the best, they did not want to work from my last visit to this one not much difference. The selection is pretty decent. also descent. Prices are for all budgets. and good specials.

Yelp
Now I know why this store has crappy ratings. I just spent nearly $400 there and when I asked them to break a $20 bill, they said they couldn't. First person, Nope.. Second person, Nope.. a Mgr comes over and gives the same Nope. I finally said to the guy "I'm spending nearly $400 right now at your store.. I'm not asking you to GIVE me $20... merely for 2 tens, and I get the shitty no-customer-service attitude of "I can't open the register". I remind him AGAIN that I'm spending a few hundred dollars, and he reluctantly caves in as if it was dome major task he needed time overcome. Damn, pal, you have a LOT to learn about very basic customer service. I will never shop there again and strongly suggest you don't either.

Yelp
So I'm one of those soccer fans who only watches the World Cup Final at what ever party I'm going to. So since 2022 it's Argentina versus France, I'm rooting for Los Albiceleste (Argentina). Needless to say I don't have a Jersey but had to look for one for the party. Off I go online to look for a Messi Jersey (dreaming) , a regular Jersey heck even a practice Jersey. None of the stores close to me had one. However, I was able to find one at this location about a 30-minute plus drive from home. The parking lot was ample enough and the employees pleasant and helpful. I now have something to wear! "Que Miras Bobo" :)

Yelp
Matthew Mayer was working in the golf section & helped me get fitted. While I was there, some older guys walked in specifically looking for him & for a good reason. Kid loves golf, loves helping others get better & wouldn't even take a cash tip from me for staying past his working hours to finish my fitting holistically. Shoutout Matt, give the kid some business because he's ready for it

Yelp
Dick's is like a Supermarket for Sporting goods...pretty much anything you want that is related to active life or sports, you can find here...their prices are very competitive and there's an advantage to go to a place where it is a One Stop Shop....you can get everything you need under one roof. This store in the River Market shopping center is very convenient to us, only about 1.5 miles away...so easy to get to....large parking lot that is shared with many other stores. I found a nice heavy duty folding chair and some nice workout clothes on sale at this store... nice friendly staff, very busy....but friendly. Richard "Dick" Stack started the company as a fishing tackle store in Binghamton, New York, in 1948. He began with a $300 loan from his grandmother. Edward W. Stack and his siblings purchased Dick's from their father in the early 1980s, when the company had two locations in Upstate New York. Stack established a board of directors, opened additional stores, and relocated the company's headquarters to Pittsburgh in 1994. He became chairman and chief executive officer following his father's retirement in 1984, and led the company during its initial public offering in 2002. Dick's operated primarily throughout the Eastern United States, up to 2009, and has since expanded to the Pacific Northwest and West Coast. Dick's is the largest sporting goods retail company in the United States, with approximately 854 stores, as of 2020. The company's subsidiaries include Field & Stream, Golf Galaxy, and Public Lands, and, previously, Chelsea Collective and True Runner. In 2017, there were 690 Dick's stores, close to 100 Golf Galaxy locations, and approximately 30 Field & Stream stores.

Yelp
Dick's Sporting Goods is a great place to go for all your sports needs. they have it all for all your favorite sports, equipment and clothing. The store is always kept neat and organized and always have plenty in stock. The service is great. You always have someone there that can help you out with what you're looking for.

Yelp
I found what I was looking for (ON MY OWN) but the service wasn't good. We walked in and the person at the front didn't acknowledge us. Walked to the shoe area and the guy didn't acknowledge us either. We literally had to approach him to ask for a size and when he did Bring us the shoe he said the shoes were ugly and walked away. Got to the register to purchase our item and another dry personality was in our presence. These folks could use some training on how to be FRIENDLY!

Yelp
This store has been here for several years, has a good sales team with plenty of staff and a huge sporting selection for everyone. It's not a specialty shop per say, but they have everything from golfing, to camping, to paddle boarding, to baseball/softball, all types of athletic wear, etc. Check out their website and you'll see they have a little bit of something for every sport, but they don't focus on any one in particular. This means you may have to find a specialty shop once in a while. But it's still a great store.

Yelp
I was in need of a new pair of good walking shoes for an upcoming trip to Italy so I stopped into the Fort Lauderdale store to see what they had available. I was welcomed as I entered the store and proceeded to the shoe department. That department was the busiest in the store and it appeared there was only one associate working the entire area. I was not impressed by the way shoes are arranged now, Men's and Women's seem to be displayed erratically. Seems to me there could be better organization there. Now, back to that one sales associate. The young man, Wensky, was dealing with some challenging customers but he kept his cool and helped us all with a positive attitude and a smile. If this review were based on Wensky's superior customer service skills it would be 5+ Stars but the store really could have had some additional staff working on a Saturday afternoon.

Chris ..

Yelp
OMG! First, the Pompano store appears to be long gone, so we tried the Fed Hwy location. The staff seems VERY used to ignoring or avoiding customers. We were looking for shoes. Picked out a couple pair and the guy went off to get them. After many minutes, I set a timer for 5 minutes. Nobody ever came back. Two staff just disappeared. Guess there is no sales quota. The store was very dirty. I took my shoes off anticipating a pair coming out from the back. That's when I noticed the Stuck on crap and piles of dust & dirt.

Yelp
Michael is the best manager there ! He really went above and beyond for me! I ordered a delivery order on the Dicks app and the order was supposed to come through Door Dash ... needless to say it was a terrible experience a lot of back and forth of call Door dash for my order . I finally had enough and just wanted to pick my order at the store (since door dash put it was returned back ) . I called Dicks and spoke with Michael and he tells me the order was never returned and they don't have it . Super bummed .... But Michael called Door dash and helped me get my refund and made this experience overall a good and less aggravating one . I wish there were more managers with his care to customers.

Yelp
We removed all the grass in the backyard and planted peanuts. The perennial peanut ground cover is coming in, in thick patches, making it hard to see lizards, snakes, toads, duck eggs, etc. I needed a pair of rubber boots so that I could walk more confidently in the space, without worrying about anyone nipping my ankles. Dicks had rubber boots that were comfy. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for boots to wear to garden so the $15 price tag was a STEAL. The clerk was very helpful and made our shopping experience a joy. We were walking to the front of the store to check out and I said those magic words that credit card companies love, "hey, do you want to look around for anything else?" That $15 order morphed into a nearly $130 bill! We got buy-one-get-one-half-off fishing lure boxes to use for our vitamins (works like a charm and only needs to be refilled 12x a year). We got a new lunch bag for my husband and a Yeti ice pack. We got a Yeti thermos cup and lid with a seal. Hey, we got things we wanted and needed so it was a good thing. The store has a lot to offer - clothes, freeze-dried camping foods, etc. The clerk at the register was very friendly (this former Coloradoan loved our hats) and checked us out quickly, while greeting customers entering the store. We got great help, loved their inventory selections and prices, and moved on with our day. I'd return in a heartbeat - but right now, I have gardening to do!

Yelp
I was looking for protective gear. Noone was anywhere near the bike area to assist me. I put my keys on a counter against the wall in an OPEN area as that looked like a bike repair area as I tried on a wrist guard. Out of nowhere, a young person came out of nowhere and said " you can't be here in this area". I looked around and he said again, "you can't be here behind this desk." I looked down and I had one foot on the mat, I was half behind the "desk" and the rest of body was in the merchandise section. How about, "can I help you find anything the PURCHASE today?" Made no sense. This is why Amazon.

Yelp
This entry for Dick's would appear to be a duplicate of the more popular which has of this date 22 reviews to it: https://www.yelp.com/biz/dicks-sporting-goods-fort-lauderdale The only difference, other than the number of reviews is that the other site spelled "DICK'S" all in capital letters. And yes, I've report this as a duplicate suggesting a merger of the two. Located in what was once a Winn Dixie Super Market, Dick's Sporting Goods is huge. Also, with the sudden closing of its rival Sports Authority store, it's now our only big box sports store in the area of North Federal. They have a real good line and selection in fishing equipment at prices that are lower than you'll find in tackle shops. The prices on their other sporting equipment also seem to be better than you'll find elsewhere but on somethings like Yeti Coolers and camping equipment, somewhat on the high side as compared to Bass Pro or West Marine. At least that seemed to be the case when I was last at Dick's.

Yelp
Dick's Sporting Goods is really your go to store for anything sporty! They really seem to have everything covered. The store is expansive with a separate Pro Golf section. They also offer outdoor recreational gear, so go ahead and shop for a kayak or fishing trip. All major sports are covered, soccer was our focus on this trip, and we scored! More of a spectator? They have chairs. Need running gear? They have that too! They even have GU. They actually have a decent variety of single energy gels, protein bars, and candies. They have a decent variety of athletic apparel for every taste. I liked their selection of College and NFL shirts. The prices are comparable to most athletic stores, watch for sales! The staff is helpful. On this particular visit, Taylor was great, and offered to help us figure out the world of soccer socks. Yes, there are many. I know, crazy right?! Overall, great store for all of your fitness needs!

Yelp
Terrible service in an otherwise empty store. Wonder why? The sales people are in back eating nachos. Then the item that was on sale is never at the store and they bounce you up into the expensive plastic junk they sell. DONT GET THE CARD. They're like the relative that won't leave. If you get on their email list they flood your email daily and there is no way to get rid of them.

Yelp
Dicks is no secret. It's a big chain, so common sense says it would have less of a personal touch. And this location at least, proves that wrong. I have been by a few times for this and that. I was just in the other day to check in for a marathon being held locally. I got that done quickly so I had time to roam around and look at some things. I checked out the shoes(nice guy working that dept) and the outdoor department. I then swung through golf and tennis. I remembered I needed a new tennis racket. It had been a dozen years since I started using the current racket and in was pretty sure it was more like 20 years old. This place had all the different rackets that I had googled. I looked up on line top 5 racquets for intermediate skill and they carried all of them. The prices good but they were higher end rackets. I googled up a coupon discount for Dicks but I want sure they would take coupon I had found on my phone. My coupon didn't work. But the fella at the counter found a similar discount code in his system and gave me that discount. It was a kind gesture and came with great service. Overall I'm not sure it could have been a better experience. Definitely a top of the line sports store.

Yelp
So I went to Dick's on Federal Highway to purchase a couple of training shirts. I selected 1 shirt & 2 workout underwear. I did this on my own not 1 associate said a word to me even though I passed several. No problem. Then I proceed to checkout and the last thing I want is a nasty disposition checkout woman but that's what we got. She was at the register for credit & debit card register only. We walked up and she got on the phone. So I placed the items on the counter. No words were exchanged. She got off the call and rang my items up & then she stands there with her arms crossed. I thought the wife inserted the credit and there was no movement so I asked the clerk are we done? She snaps you haven't paid yet ... so I look at the wife and she was struggling to get the card into the machine and when she did the register printed out the receipt. The clerk says now you can leave. Not thanks. Nothing. This occurred around 11:30 - 12:00. I am tired of giving money to corporations that have no respect for customers. That will be the last time I ever purchase anything from Dick's at any location.

Yelp
I came here looking for some new workout apparel as I was running early for my workout at Pure Barre which is in the same shopping plaza. The apparel choices were not too exciting. There was Nike, New Balance and this singer Cary Underwood has her own line. But unfortunately nothing grabbed me. Prices were high even on the sale racks. The only special I had seen was on Nike oversized tanks at $19.99. Nothing too exciting or gave me reason to buy anything. I looked over the ladies golf equipment and apparel and it only got worse. Very generic and ordinary they had golf clubs on special $199. a set with bag included not the best of brands. I hate to say it but they have more choice on Amazon as we just got a set for my step son for his birthday. I see no reason for me to ever return let alone not one associate even approached me as I walked the entire store.

Yelp
It's a sporting goods store.. what can you really expect beyond decent customer service and clean? Customer service is decent though they could have a few more staff members on the floor. Stock and variety are good... nice adidas and mike sections. Downfall... the dressing rooms! I've been in twice this week to buy more gym attire.. Wednesday and again today which is Saturday. I used the same dressing room and the bandage off someone was still stuck to the carpet from the other day. They obviously don't think about cleaning, vacuuming or wiping down the changing rooms. Gross!!

Yelp
Nice store in a great plaza. They have nice clothing and everything you need for an outdoor adventure
google avatar

Yelp
Brand new, this Dick's just opened. It's in the location where the Winn Dixie used to be and it's a big improvement because that wasn't a very nice store. We got a a coupon in the mail and popped over to check it. Fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for the outdoors, even if you're not planning to play sports. They have tents and kayaks and tons of camping equipment. And then the sports stuff. Baseball, basketball, golf and all of that. Plus shoes and shirts and shorts and more. All very neatly organized and prices are clearly marked. Prices... well... they're a little on the medium to high side.
google avatar

Mariam D.

Yelp
Helpful and friendly customer service throughout the store with a nice assortment of products & brands. After answering a few questions about my feet & workouts, I was shown the sneakers that would be most suitable for my needs. DSG also has a rewards program to earn discounts on future purchases.

Yelp
Ive just had an incredible footwear consultation with the footwear manager Ryan from this store. I was blown away by his professionalism and in-depth knowledge about footwear across the board. He confirmed my suspicions about my under probation (supination) issues which have resulted in terrible shin splints because I haven't been wearing the correct running shoes. Very pleased with his incredible service. Thank you Ryan.

Yelp
This is my go to place for anything sporting goods. Great selection of team sports apparel so if you're heading to watch your favorite team play, show your colors and get in here before you go. There's a huge selection for everything needed for your golf game. Clubs, shoes, balls, tees, bags, electronics and more. If they don't have it, you don't need it. Fishing supplies, kayaks, bicycles, exercise equipment, coolers, tents and camping gear and on and on. Don't shop the interweb, get in here and check it all out and buy in person. Be sure to sign up for their free rewards program.

Yelp
***ATTENTION CONSUMERS*** ***CAVEAT EMPTOR*** Dick's Sporting Goods has a 24 HOUR RETURN POLICY ON BICYCLES! The Sales Associates are clueless and not equipped to give you this critical piece of information. We purchased a bike for our son that was wholly and without a doubt defective. when we went to return the bike we were told the 90 return policy does not apply to bicycles and pointed to the small print on a sticker at the registers that states so. When we purchased the bike, we had no idea that we had 24 hours to decide, not to mention that we kept it hidden for 6 weeks since it was a Christmas gift for our son. The sales associate told us we had no worries whatsoever, we could return it FOR ANY reason within 90 days. The bicycle technician told us 60 days but said 90 days was at the manager's discretion. As a consumer, I am so sick and tired of the shenanigans and abuse of trust, I should have known better than to trust DICK'S with my family's money.

Yelp
This review today is for the store I thought it was the best. I've been coming by to buy some sport accessories every time I need. However, today I had a very surprising and bad experience. All my husband and I needed was to have our bike's tire flat fixed. The attendant in the front was very nice and he explained us that it wouldn't be possible to fix it today, but we could drop it off in the bikes station for tomorrow. The attendant took the phone and called the guy in the back, he told him that we were going there. So we went to the bike part of the store and there was DAVE working in a bike. We stopped in front of him, he didn't even say good afternoon... not even looked at us. We wondered near him for a while but nothing!!!! So I decided to ask him if he could help us. I said: "hello." He didn't look at me. Than I allowed my voice I little louder: "HEY, HELLO?! Than he looked at me with disdain and said: "What?" I told him that the guy in the front had sent us there and also had called. And he just said "No, I don't work here, I just assemble the bikes." - thanks I said. Than we read to the front, the same attendant ask us what happened, and we told him the story. He didn't believe and called the bike guy again. Another person also took the phone and called him. My husband and I heard they both complaining with Dave. Both not understanding why Dave couldn't just pick our tire and let there for whoever is responsible for doing the job. Well I thought this is the worst experience for a loyal shopper. Now I'm inside an amazing bike store where I'm been treat with respect and they are very very professional.. PERFORMANCE BICYCLE. So if you need help come here... much more than Dicks can offer. (About bikes ok).

Yelp
Dick's is a classic example of why brick and mortar stores are going belly-up. I took my granddaughter there to buy tennies for school. Lots of staff running around doing everything to avoid actually helping customers. Couldn't find the shoe we wanted, so we pressed the HELP button. A guy came over with a scowl on his face, basically waved his hand in the direction of boxes of shoes and left.
google avatar

Jeanne M.

Yelp
This is our go-to store for sporting goods in this area. It's a good size store with pretty much some of everything. We particularly enjoy the wide assortment of work-out wear from the most popular brands. Lots of "tech fabric," which is really great for those sweaty visits to the gym. They generally have a better selection of fun fabrics for women, instead of the usual uni-sex options. They also carry my favorite brand of swimwear for pool work-outs and I haven't seen it anywhere else in the area. Sometimes things can be hard to find without assistance and they could use a bigger selection of shoes for sports other than running. As far as everything else, they've got it pretty well covered. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous. The prices are reasonable (at least in comparison to other stores) and they usually have some good bargains in the clearance area.
google avatar

Hayden D.

Yelp
If you don't like it here than you're probably just a difficult person. Friendliest people around and the managers are great. They used to have a killer lodge guy, handsome blonde fella

Yelp
Newer store. I think the selection, layout, lighting, cleanliness, staff (knowledgeable and amicability) is better than other Dick's I've been too. This shopping plaza is also in a good location off US1, in a plaza with many other stores and restaurants that most people would like, and parking is usually ok to find. 4/5 because Dick's doesn't blow me away. Most other Dick's are a 3/5 to me.

Thayer V.

Yelp
Horrible customer service. Placed something on hold via the phone and told the guy I was on my way. Arrived 10 minutes later to a girl telling me that the items I placed on hold were sold out. Clearly there was some miscommunication between the guy I spoke to and this girl. I continued to ask her how they were sold out if I placed them on hold and her response was that "they're sold out." If they were sold out prior to me calling, why would the guy let me drive all the way there and tell me he was placing it on hold? The whole point of putting something on hold is to not allow anyone else to buy it, which they blatantly sold the product within the 10 minutes it took me to reach the store.

Susan I.

Yelp
Bought a $450 bike, as I walked out I could tell the brakes were defective. And wheels were NOT aligned. Seems it would be 101 to fill tires, and make sure all worked before taking it out of the store. Management needs to be sure team members do their job. Staff was pleasant though.

Yelp
Service above and beyond! I was looking for some support for my injured hamstring so I could resume running. I had already wandered around other sporting goods stores and asked questions of their staff. Nobody made me feel confident in their answers. Things changed at Dick's. I was wandering around again and was approached by one of the staff who asked if he could help. (I wish I remembered his name.) He took me to four different places in the store to look at the different options, gave me his opinion on which was best for my purpose... AND showed me the different prices to be found at those different locations (brands priced differently and sale items). By far the most helpful (and most reasonably priced) of the stores I looked in for the solution to my problem. And yes, I did get one of the items from Dick's and it is working well.
google avatar

Daniel A.

Yelp
You'll find Dick's Sports right across from Sports Authority. Dick's has much more variety and it's full of "Clearance" racks. Go for it, it's a good store, nice staff.

Yelp
Being from Binghamton, NY, I'm usually a huge fan of Dick's Sporting Goods. However, I recently had a terrible experience with a bike I purchased from them at this location. The service was fine, the bike tech Nycho was very friendly and sounded knowledgeable. I bought an all-purpose Nashiki for about $250. The next day, I'm riding my bike to the beach and the handle bars feel loose. It got worse and worse until eventually I had to hold them in place and walk the bike home. I told them I tried to tighten it with an allen wrench, but it kept coming loose so it must be the tread. They took out a heavy duty wrench and asked me to try it out again before they got me a new bike. Trying to be a reasonable consumer, I agreed and went on my way. A couple weeks later my front axel broke and I went flying over the handle bars. I was charged for the fork that had to be ordered from the manufacturer. It came out to over $100 fix after it was all said and done, and I had only owned the bike 4 months. I got the bike back, and the handle bars are coming loose again. I'm usually not one to complain, but this was a very disappointing experience with a store I used to think very highly of. My recommendation is to go somewhere else if you are looking for a quality bike that will last you.

Yelp
Went by the store to buy a pair of tennis shoes I must tell you I have the worst customer service ever. There were three service people in the department they talk like they're on the street in the hood. I worked for Costco wholesale for 25 years, and if we have Had employees that acted like that they would be fired. The associate that helped me and my friend was so rude, I asked him what he does when he sells shoe, do you look like a deer in the headlights, why? He didn't ask even how does the shoes fit, he made no effort to help all you was worried about is putting a sticker on the box so he get some type of credit. The tall blonde surfer kid, needs a little customer service Training, Hey man follow him. What a joke, the attitude of some of the youth is disgusting. So many of them want to be the CEO of the company and not do the work to climb the ladder. As a manager of that store must be so difficult to find good workers anybody that has a job there should be grateful that they're working, be more aware of what they're doing and not doing. If you're thinking about stopping at the store I would pass.

Yelp
I like to stop in when doing my laundry. It's fun to come see the latest fitness gear, and kill some time. Best part is they accept competitor coupons. I tend to prefer Dick's over other places because of the interior. The lighting and color scheme is a little less corporate and more friendly.

Yelp
This place is right across the street from its rival, Sports Authority. This location is quite large and has the standard assortment of sports equipment. We went in for swimming accessories, however the swimming section was tiny and only really had swimsuits. The main departments they focus on are labeled to be very visible and easy to find. The prices were high, but on par with how high Sports Authority prices. They did have a better volleyball section, carrying a wider variety of equipment and attire. I was able to get a great deal on a cute pair of colorful shorts. This place is worth checking out and comparing prices.

Yelp
Went in for a pair of golf shoes. The sales people were there ready to help. Went way down hill at the register. I even think it was a manager that rang us. She was very rude. I said as she had already bagged our item that I did not need a bag and she took it out crumpled it up and instead of reusing it she just crumpled it up and threw it away. We said thank you as we grabbed our stuff not even a "you are welcome", just a "NEXT". Rude rude, rude. I am happy to take my business elsewhere.

Yelp
Went to the Fort Lauderdale location on a Sunday with my wife. I am very surprised at how little service we got (it's Sunday -- should be your biggest day of the week?). Not one person asked if they could help me in about 20 minutes. I was also very surprised at how little selection there is -- basically Nike and Under Armour. A little Champion and Addidas and that's it. There are SO MANY other fitness brands out there! Basically, this is a dull store and it reminds me of the Sports Authority near my house in Aventura that closed a couple months ago: BORING and NO SERVICE.

Yelp
Came in today to get some new golf shoes. The man working in the golf department was extremely rude. He made it clear he was only interested in helping the other gentleman that was shopping. Horrible customer service.

Yelp
I really like this place. Absolutely kills sports authority across the street. Every time I walk in the place people are very helpful. No matter what the question, there is someone there to help you. By far, which is my favorite part, they have the best selection of shoes.

Yelp
My husband and I needed to purchase three bicycles. We went to Dick's on Federal Highway. Nyco in the Bike Department was so incredibly knowledgeable of the bicycles, the accessories and everything that was related to bikes. He helped each of us (my husband, my son and me) select the perfect bike that best met our needs. We went on our first bike ride on our new bikes this evening and everything was top notch and in great working order. Hats off to Nyco for his exceptional customer service and superior knowledge of the bikes. If you need to purchase a bicycle or any bicycle accessories, be sure to see Nyco. He was the best!

Yelp
If I could, I would give this store zero stars!!! Don't shop here! They steal from their customers. I bought a pair of reef sandals for a present for $38 and I bought them in the wrong color so I had to exchange them. The rude sales rep would only give me $30 back and when I asked why i wasn't getting the total $38 back they said they weren't the same sandal. I even had the receipt. I asked for a manager and let me tell you something I have never seen a more nastier man. After he spoke to me so disrespectful I just took the $30 so I could get out of the store, but NEVER will I shop in this store again!!! They just lost a great customer and I will make sure to tell everyone not to shop at this store as well. If you pay $38 for an item and you have a sales receipt then you should get back $38. There should be no argument whatsoever. Dick's should be ashamed.

Yelp
Wow 30 minutes standing by the exercise equipment and no one came by to help - then waited at the cashier to pay for another 10 minutes. Not sure how this place works but I saw employees walking around (doing what I have no idea) and only one register open (and that guy was breaking no speed records ringing up the 1 customer in front of me). Now I know why my wife only buys stuff online.

Yelp
Just went to this new Dick's yesterday, and was so impressed, I had to write a review. First of all, the store is beautiful--it IS brand new, after all, so it's super clean and really nice to look at (so much better than the dingy Sports Authority across the street). I had a return from a different Dick's: a slightly used soccer ball that was weighted unevenly. I had no receipt and had none of my personal info in their system (the other Dick's stores are too far for me to visit with any regularity). Despite this, I had no issue whatsoever returning the used ball--they were all so customer friendly--door greeter, cash register attendant, manager, all of them. I had my two young children with me, who were slightly rowdy after school, and yet not one cross look or word did I get from any employee. In fact, the friendly door greeter gave them both a basketball to "dribble around the store." We went to try on roller blades, and again, the salesman was very kind (even running off to get a bandaid for my daughter's boo boo), not to mention incredibly helpful with our selection. We made our purchase, and again, another employee at the cash register was super customer-friendly, giving us an unanticipated $10 rebate (I'm still not sure why--I had thought those rebates are applied to future purchases). I cannot tell you how impressed I am with the customer service at this store--at Sports Authority, I typically have to search high and low to find some sullen employee to assist me, and at Dick's, every single employee (6, total) I encountered was friendly and helpful. I hope it continues. As for merchandise, I can't comment too much as we went in there for one specific item, but I do want to say that it seemed they had anything and everything. We did peek at the shaded collapsible chairs and noted that theirs were $10 cheaper than a similar item at Bed Bath and Beyond. Plus they had kid-versions of the same chair, which I've never seen before and was really impressed with, for only $20. All in all, so far so GREAT, and I will be back!
