I seemed to have startled 2 male employees around my age when walking by me! The men were focused on their personal conversations & didn't notice me walk in so I think they were worried whether or not I had heard what they were discussing lol but surprisingly the young man working alone in the back was super hard at work moving quickly around & was able to find me exactly what I needed even quicker! Overall it was a good experience!

They have more Stanley cups than they do camping supplies

I purchased a treadmill from Matt in Pittsfield Ma He was very helpful at the time of the sale. A month later I went back with some questions. Matt once again went out of his way to make sure my concerns were addressed I am very happy with my purchase and the service that at this store!

Went look for socks and had a great experience. When I went to check out Faith at the register made a suggestion and I ended purchasing more items. Faith (Big Ups to the state of Maine),Thank You. Came in to buy some shoes. No attendant in the shoe section so I couldn't shop.

Had a fantastic experience with Bob, the running shoe specialist. He was working incredibly hard to help out quite a few customers since they didn't have a ton of help in the back shoe area, and still managed to give me thoughtful and very helpful guidance around the right running shoes (and socks!) for my feet -- which not only were on sale, but have been great sneakers. Will definitely go back to see Bob again!

Staff were very helpful! I was in there shopping for soccer related items for my son. Found everything we needed, although wide cleat sizes were limited in store.

I was happy with my purchase, but the service was very slow. I had to walk around the store for 10 minutes before I got someone to get me the shoes I wanted. And the person that works in the shoe department was not friendly at all. He seemed to be annoyed for some reason.

Laziest employees ever. Walked the entire store trying to find someone. Three were up at the front. Two met my eyes and walked away from the nothing they were doing, pretending to do something else. Lack of courtesy and enthusiasm. Hope I didn't interrupt their nothing too badly.

I place an online order from Dick's sporting goods, theirs websites was showing 3 units available, I drove two hours just to pick up that tent from this location in Pittsfield MA, when I get there they just cancel my order. They told me that the system was not accurate Now I have wait 4 to 5 business to get my money back..

This place really needs more employees. I waited 30 minutes for someone to help me in the golf department and when someone finally showed up I wasn't even acknowledged and he waited on someone who just walked in. I waited another 10 minutes then I left never to return again. Too bad, when this place opened it had a golf pro on staff who could help with anything golf related.

I have bought 2 items in the past week from a friendly young gentle man named Matt B. who works during the day in the golf and active department in Pittsfield he was extremely nice and polite. He is knowledgeable about his departments. I certainly would recommend if any need for golf items etc you stop by and see Matt B.

The store itself is alright... I come here every so often to check out what sales they have on athletic apparel. They are quite pricey for name brand stuff (what else would you expect?). I also came here once to get my new pair of ice skates sharpened. I dropped them off and they said to come back in an hour or so and they would be ready. After that hour, I came back and they said the skates were all set so I paid and I left. Later that week I tried to go ice skating with my skates and they were NOT sharpened at all. I fell right on my face and couldn't keep skating which was a big disappointment.

Staff was friendly and surprisingly knowledgeable about tee ball. Got a kids bat at a pretty good price.

Great store! Chris - the salesperson in footwear is excellent. Totally knowledgable about the correct sneakers for a given sport. Store is clean, well stocked, organized, and an overall excellent experience.

This store could use some customer service improvements if you are very particular like me, but if you push for knowledge the staff is there to help. The problem is that the ones with the knowledge are managers and not usually in specific departments. I needed help with running shoes and the woman working in shoes know nothing, but when I pushed her for knowledge or someone who had the knowledge of what I was looking for a nice man helped me (ray). My advice is to be pushy and you will find what you are looking for.
