Love this place! Booked a family suite with a sea view at the last minute after bad weather meant we had to abandon our trip to Yala. So glad we did, as the location is perfect. The beach in front of the hotel is great for relaxing, with many sunbeds and a relatively flat beach, unlike adjacent Hiriketiya, which is a smaller, narrower beach with a steep slope and focussed on surfing. |The hotel itself is lovely although basic in places. Whilst the bed was comfortable and the shower good, there is no room safe and the large bedroom mirror and glass doors to the patio would have benefited from a good clean. The lock for the patio doors had also seized up, but as we were on the first floor, that wasn’t an issue. |Staff were lovely and drinks at the bar were reasonably priced. |The price for our massive room was also great value and included breakfast, and with such a great location, we would definitely return. |NOTE:|The hotel doe snot have a pool as the main cover photo for this hotel is actually of the Dickwella Resort and Spa Hotel, which is a completely different place!
