We stayed at the Didsbury House for a week (22/9-29/9) whilst traveling to visit family and friends. It was a perfect center hub for all that we had to do.||The staff was absolutely lovely and so helpful. We were arriving around 10 AM, while guaranteed check in is 3 PM, we were able to get in our room when we arrived. Thankfully they were not completely booked as this saved our trip with being able to nap and freshen up for a busy week ahead. ||It’s perfect location to walk and explore whether going to Didsbury Village (10 minutes) over to Didsbury Centre for bowling/cinema and food options, or a 5 minute walk to Didsbury or Ye Old Cock Inn for a drink. ||We only had breakfast in the hotel but that was perfect. I had ordered food for my partner who was still sleeping and they brought up the tray with no issue to us. ||The cosy room (room 39) was perfect, I was worried it would be too small based on photos but plenty big in size. Next time we would only book a bigger room for a king bed for our personal preference. ||The bed was heavenly and felt like we were sleeping on a cloud, the shower was amazing and my hair and skin felt so soft. ||There were events going on in hotel during our time there but never once did they interfere with our stay. ||A special thank you to the staff for the treat and note they left for my birthday as well! ||We will be back in the area at least once a year and looking forward to future stays

We had our wedding at Didsbury House Hotel in September 2025. Jenny was brilliant throughout the planning and organisation process, and Rick was amazing on the day in making sure everything went smoothly. All of the staff within the venue were also very friendly and attentive. We can't thank everyone enough! All of our guests commented on how lovely the venue and rooms were and how delicious the food was too! We had a perfect day and we look forward to visiting again to celebrate future anniversaries! Thanks again

A Massive Thank You to the Didsbury House Hotel Dream Team|I had the absolute pleasure of being a bridesmaid at a wedding at Didsbury House Hotel last week, and I just have to give a massive shoutout to the incredible team—especially Shameck, Alex, and Jen.|Shameck was an absolute rock on the day. I genuinely thought everything had been planned down to a T by us bridesmaids (with a little help from the bride’s amazing OCD for detail!), but he still managed to stay one step ahead. He was calm, professional, and quietly in control of every little thing—from keeping the flow of the day running smoothly to making sure tiny touches (like pens on the guest book!) weren’t missed.|And yes—he told us off when we needed it! In the best possible way. He helped keep our emotions in check when things started to get a bit much, always with calm authority and just the right balance of kindness and structure. What really stood out was how he adapted his approach for each person—his people skills are genuinely unbeatable.|We’d had hours of chats leading up to the big day, and the night before the wedding he said, “Relax—I’ll lead you through it, baby steps.” And that’s exactly what he did. From setting up and managing all the formal bits to making sure everyone felt cared for, he was just always there—quietly making everything happen without fuss.|Alex was also brilliant—friendly, relaxed, and such a joy to chat with. We had such a good laugh about music styles, and he just instantly got the vibe we were going for—even when others didn’t quite understand it! His ability to connect so easily with the bridesmaids and the bride made everything feel even more personal and fun. It honestly felt like he was part of the group, not just part of the venue staff.|And a huge thank you to Jen (I think that’s who Bright said was the wedding coordinator!)—you were such a star. From the planning stages months ago to the final moments of the day, you were always ahead of everything. Suggestions, solutions, calm reassurance—you had answers ready before we even asked the questions. Your teamwork with Shameck and Alex was so clear, and the communication between you all made the day feel effortless.|Together, this team made an already beautiful day truly unforgettable. The way you all worked together—and with us—was seamless, and it really felt like you cared. Not just about how things looked, but how everyone felt.|From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You’re an exceptional team and you made the day even more special than we ever imagined.

A really nice alternative to chain hotels. Lots of parking spaces and a short walk into Didsbury.||Our room was comfortable, bright and spacious. The bar and public areas offer good spaces to meet or relax in.||Staff were very friendly. We had planned to eat there but thought the menu was a bit narrow so ate elsewhere.||Good option if visiting Didsbury.

I don’t even know where to begin with our review of Didsbury House Hotel! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️||We had the most amazing wedding day at the venue, from initial book to each meeting with Jenny, our wedding coordinator. The team working at the hotel are so friendly and go above and beyond to ensure you have an amazing stay. Jenny was so helpful, friendly and organised throughout the planning process. Shemek was the event organiser for the day of our wedding and everything went perfectly and we felt completely taken care of! The food was an amazing 3 course menu and the midnight munchies were brought around each room, so that everyone was well fed.||We had a perfect day and the only bad part was that it had to end! Although, having so many people stay overnight after the wedding meant we could enjoy the day for much longer and it really felt like a big house party. The breakfast buffet the next day was a great addition and helped with everyone’s hangovers, and there were different options so that everyone was catered for. 🌸🌺||The venue looked so beautiful and the bedrooms are stunning. We really loved having the garden terrace with heaters and fireplace, especially as it wasn’t the warmest of days. We had our speeches out on the terrace and it was so relaxed and informal, everyone was laughing and enjoying their drinks 🥂 Every part of the hotel is beautiful, so we got so many great photos from the day - especially the ones in the double bath tubs.||We were also lucky enough to stay at the hotel the night before our wedding. We went out for a meal in Didsbury with our parents and came back to the hotel for drinks and it was just such a nice relaxing pre-wedding evening. I stayed in the Opus Loft suite with my bridesmaids and it was a great room to get ready in and have pre-wedding photos. We also ordered a delicious breakfast to the room for the morning of the wedding.||Overall, we couldn’t recommend Didsbury House Hotel more! 🥰

We had our wedding here and couldn’t have asked for a better day. The hotel was beautiful, our guests loved their rooms. All the food was fantastic, the staff are so friendly and helpful. We really appreciated everything and will look back on our special day with wonderful memories.

My daughter and son-in-law were married here recently. I was very happy with the venue, it’s a beautiful house… intimate and friendly. The staff were pleasant and personable. Our room wasn’t as well lit as I would have like but this did nothing to detract from the overall comfort and luxury of the space. Speeches were performed in the outside space which was less formal and I found myself more relaxed… |The addition of a disabled loo would be a bonus but it wasn’t an issue for me. |Altogether, very happy. Thank you

Yelp
In town for a game at Old Trafford...(OT is only a 20 minute cab ride away from this hotel). The Didsbury Hotel is a short walk from the train in a beautiful neighborhood. We stayed two nights, Friday and Saturday We experienced the friendliest of service from start to finish. Really cozy and warmly decorated common rooms for reading, happy hour, socializing, etc. Great breakfast! Even better room service. We enjoyed their room service food so much that we had them pack us a 'to go' for the train back to London. The rooms are on the smaller side, but very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Simple and very clean. The town of Didsbury is only a short walk away and has everything you need for a lovely spring weekend. We will def. be back the next time we head to the Theatre of Dreams. :)

Yelp
Fantastic, boutique feel hotel. Super comfy beds and fantastic free standing roll top baths with central taps big enough for two. Lovely staff and while I personally haven't had the breakfast, I've been told that it's yummy. Gorgeous building (great for photo shoots), stunning stairway and lovely lounge to chill out in. Rooms are imaculate, spacious and tastefully decorated. Only minor quibbles are the very heavy chain curtains that seperate the bedroom and bathroom (not good when half asleep). Great location just across from Fletcher Moss, on a good bus route and ample parking. Has two sister hotels too.
