Google
Absolutely AMAZING. Great burger. Great service. They have “Smashed” it 🤣

Google
Ordered a classic bio burger with cheddar and sweet potatoes. One of the best burgers in years, no jokes. The service is super nice and active, they offer you a small drink as welcome, which is refreshing. Real, juicy meat perfectly cooked (choose medium if you wanna live a dream). The bread will literally melt in your mouth. The ketchup in the burger must have some secrets in the recipe, too good. The mayo for the fries was a bit oily and anonymous, next time I will ask for their ketchup. 100% recommended place.

Amazing quality burgers!! 👌 Fresh made potato fries with a lovely coleslaw - what else do want?! They don't have so many burgers, BUT a cheap base burger and you can add your ingredients you want 😊 (I know that's not new, but the menu makes it very easy) The waiter was very attentive, friendly and in a very good mood. Greate vibes Burgermacher!!

Google
Mid week visit with family. Really wanted to like this place, but if your main product is burgers, and the price is high, then they should be great burgers. These weren't unfortunately. We all found the meat dry and overcooked, and rather tasteless. The accompaniments didn't make up for this. In fact we all noted the lack of cheese in the cheeseburgers. The attempt at a home-made tomato ketchup is commendable, but it was not a great sauce. Service was friendly and polite. Atmosphere a little flat indoors. Seating hard and not particularly comfortable after a while. Selection of beers was fantastic though.

Google
A really cozy place with amazing burgers (including Veggie options)! Their home-made lemonade is SO GOOD! 😍 Service was great - staff was kind and friendly. Totally recommend, we'll definitely come again!

Google
Die Burgermacher was the first place we visited for dinner in Vienna, and it did not disappoint at all! We knew coming in that this was the place to be when you’re craving burgers, and it still surprised us with how tasty they were. My boyfriend ordered their jackfruit burger which was divine and I had the Café de Paris burger which was just as amazing. The portion of their sides is generous and the homemade lemonade was the best! Would definitely recommend this to friends for lunch or dinner in Vienna 🍔

Google
WOW!!! Arancini burger was... INCREDIBLE. So tasty and the additional crispy onions and avocado was a nice addition to the beauty. Best burgers we have ever had, hands down. Fries were also of impeccable quality and crispiness, homemade sauces were also delicious. To top it off: the Kalamansi gin was sublime. Service and decor was also very nice. Would recommend (obviously) ☺️🤌

Yelp
Foremost, if you just put a meat patty between some bread, it does not mean it's a burger. Let alone a good one. If you have ever eaten a burger anywhere in the US, you will immediately know that this is not a US kinda burger. So here we go, the rating is for food only: - Burgers - exceptionally bad. I thought really hard if I ever had a worse burger in my life and couldn't think of an instance. The "burger" is extremely dry, overcooked, served on a rye bun (wtf?!?), with some "artisan" ketchup that is full of curry... Terrible! Not only does it taste bad, but the size is ridiculously small - a quarter pound maybe - for EUR 10! - Fries - excellent! Worth going there only for the fries and that's why I'm giving this place 2 stars - otherwise it would be zero. - Home made mayo - great! Other issues - this place is small and you need a reservation in order to get a seat?!? The way you will know that people who eat there have no idea what a proper burger is supposed to taste like (Ray's Hell Burgers, Counter Burger, Shake Shack, etc.) is that most of the customers use a fork and a knife to eat a burger. Ha, ha.... so European.

Yelp
I'd heard about this place for months before finally getting to try it - every time we went by, it was packed, so we made a reservation to finally try their burgers. (As Americans living in Vienna, we've come to consider ourselves burger aficionados.) So! The burgers were okay. Tasty, yes, with fresh ingredients, and the fries were great, but I have some "beef" with the place, if you will: --In addition to using all fresh ingredients (which is great), their gimmick is making their own ketchup. Now on the burgers, this is fine, it tastes good, etc. However, eating fries with it was something else altogether, and their fries weren't "the kind" that could really go without ketchup. Just know ahead of time that their ketchup is made in-house and has a bit of a sweetness to it, definitely containing cinnamon among other ingredients. The final verdict is that we'll almost definitely go back for another burger, but seeing as we'll likely need to make a reservation to get a table, it might not be any time soon. And, when we do go back, I'll be sneaking in some "normal" ketchup for my fries. Their burgers ARE good, though, definitely worth a try (and they have some interesting combinations from which you can choose!) Just remember about the ketchup before you go, and make a reservation - it's pretty much mandatory unless you arrive really early.

Yelp
One of the best burger places in the city. Buuuttt this depends on what you are looking for in a burger. Price is medium, flavour is high with portion that make sense. They experiment on 2 burgers for a rotation basis 1-2 months. Owners recently changed from originating two to a new 4. They kept the same flavour, which makes me want to come back with friends. More on burger comparison in a spreadsheet!

Yelp
Seems all of us international burger eaters on Yelp don't find this place as impressive as all the hype about it (same situation as with Le Bol). Sure its decent, sure its filling, but honestly, the best thing about this place is their bottled beer selection. You can find great Belgium beers here, lincluding Chimay (only blue label I believe) and Leffe (only blond) standing in on of those cooling refridgerators by the door, but oddly, you cannot take one yourself. Down side is its about 5 Euros a beer, which is a bit insulting when you know you can have one for under 2 Euros in Belgium, but they know at this location its so good you'll pay the price.... So, as I'm not a beer afficionada but I still spent thus far much more time writing about the beer options than the burger, you can get an idea what that means. Other reviewers are complaining that its messy; dudes, get over it. Yes, the sauce waters the bread a bit so it can break; so what; its a burger folks, don't be such royalty, if you want, use a fork and a knfie and don't pick it up; else go get a burrito in which the "breading" part encloses all the ingredients. What are you going to say next; that spagetti sauce splatters too much? I got a Classic Burger, which costs around 10 Euros (all of them where more of less the same). I'm not sure why a beef burger has meet that looks fairly white; that scared me a bit but ok. I won't say much. Meat did not have the juicy red meat taste, and I left overall it was relatively bland. On the other hand, the salad was quite fresh tasting, and which I usually oppose all dressing, their balsamic vinegrette was fresh without being overwhelming nor too oiley. Overall: It does seem a challenge to get a table here, and not necessarily worth it. Maybe it gets crowded just on reputation (who knows why though). My suggestion: if you want a burger, go to Smokey's. Same price, a bit nicer to sit at. Not the great beer though....

Yelp
This is one of my fave burgers in Vienna. I'm not a fan of huge portions, I prefer them modestly sized but huge in flavour. For me, this definitely delivers. The seasonally changing flavours are always fun. The best one is the gorgonzola burger with walnuts. So simple, but amazingly delicious. The homemade ketchup is not my cup of tea, but I love that they make it themselves.

Yelp
We went there recently and the service was horrible! We booked a table well in advance and then we ordered the food and they dint bring it for one hour! When we asked them what happened they said we forgot to put in the system so it's delayed. When the food came after an hour it wasn't tasty either. Very disappointed with this restaurant. Won't recommend it to others

Yelp
Shittiest service I've ever had!!! The waiter makes a mistake and somehow it is our fault. Brought two dishes on same plate and serves it to the wrong person. One of the owners comes and yells at us so every eye on the restaurant is on us. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! No vegan options here. 0/5

Yelp
Being American I have eaten my share of great burgers, so I rate this as I see it. It's A-OK, but I have had better. The entire burger is bio (including the buns), which is great, but the sauce is really overloaded. It's a tasty meal, but really messy. That being said I can still see myself returning again soon for another round. And if your thirsty, the refrigerator with 30 different beers, will definitely fulfill your needs. The location is medium size and fills up very quickly. I would recommend you make a reservation! The place is a definite hit that's worth visiting.

Yelp
I admit, I feel kinda bad to give such a low review, considering that most people like Burgermacher so much, but I simple cannot agree. Yes, the place is nice and a little local-run store, no chain. But well, firstly I love ketchup and Burgermacher serves their own home-made ketchup, which i am sure many like, but it was simply not my cup of tea. I also though that the burger generally was not that great, even if their would have been Heinz on it. The meat was not up to par and the bread a bit stiff. Also the €4 portion of fries was rather small. All in all I cannot recommend coming here. I don't want to judge Vienna burgers by this place, as there must be better burger places, but for now I am disappointed and wished I had spent my money elsewhere.

Yelp
I did not make it very far into the restaurant. The receptionist (I would not want to go as far as calling her the maitre d) was so rude that I turned around and decided to spend my money somewhere else. The whole scene happened on a busy Sunday noon. All tables were occupied. She offered that I could wait at the bar, which is a nice idea. I asked her if she has any idea if a table would open up any time soon. I wanted to gauge if there is a realistic chance to get lunch in the next thirty minutes or so, or not. I expect that a good waiter / waitress has a bit of an overview and knows which party has finished their food, or maybe somebody has already paid. Instead of giving me a professional and helpful response, she snapped at me that she had no clue because she could not kick out people. Sorry, but the only one who should have been kicked out that day was this rude receptionist. I gladly took my business somewhere else, the neighborhood is packed with good lunch places.

Yelp
Best Burger i have had in Vienna so far. The friendliest and faster service i have had at a burger place so far. Their choice is not that big, but what they service is GREAT and HOT and FAST. s you can see from my FIVE STAR rating, i highly recommend everyone to visit here. BUT i recommend you make a reservation if you want to eat your burger their, as they are very popular and they do not have that much seating.

Yelp
Tofu curry burger on a fresh bun. Can you ask for anything better? This place was rammed, but worth the wait. It's a small spot with maybe 20 seats. All the food is local and the burgers come in interesting combinations. My fiance had a pork burger that was juicy and saucy. Best burgers in Vienna, hands down.

Yelp
Very rarely do I crave burgers, but I've been here twice and, while the burger is good, it never is satisfying. Lamb burger and a mexican burger. Both great, both messy, but both leave me feeling like it wasn't worth all the meat. The 4-stars is for the GREAT beer selection, the awesome fries, and the best homemade ketchup I've ever had.

Yelp
Very good burger, but very messy. I had a Mexican burger and within two bites I had salsa all over my face. Really good, though.

Yelp
It could be a McDonalds burger and I would love this place for their beer selection and service. They have a reach-in cooler of craft brews from Austria, Germany, Belgium, and USA. But instead of McDonalds crappy burgers, they serve a pan-cooked, thick burger patty on a whole-wheat(?) bun. The homemade ketchup was too sweet for my taste (I don't put regular ketchup on my burgers, and this was sweeter). One of our top two restaurant experiences in Wien.

Yelp
The fries are amazing! The burger is very good. Everything is so fresh and delicious! They even hand make their own ketchup! Burger lovers, don't miss this place.

Yelp
Despite what looks like a great attempt, the burgers just are not that good. The meet was mushy and slathered in some weird sauce. The fries and the cole slaw were excellent!

Yelp
Very friendly service and nice atmosphere. But I did not think the burgers were as amazing as told.

Yelp
Kleines Lokal. Burgers sind zu teuer für mich. Geschmacklich war ok, aber nicht besonderes..
