We were right in middle of our culinary tour through all the places that offer real Italian pizza pies. Like only few remaining restaurants in Innsbruck, this one still has a wood burning oven and the pies really are delicious as a result of this treatment. Fresh ingredients and very tasty basic sauce, just as it’s supposed to be. The dough, perfectly made, just the right texture and flavor. Personally, I love the namesake pies of the place, they are utterly delicious. Whilst I can’t give the top spot to the „Pizzerei“ I certainly rank them Top Three, easily. Probably number two, if I’m being pressed for a number. Great time and great service, so nothing but good things to mention, nothing to criticize or complain about, and if there wasn’t that other place a bit further into the older parts of the city, I probably would’ve ranked it higher still. Thanks for a great time!

Highly recommended! The pizzas are yums- very Neapolitan. The proprietary chilli oil is delicious and spicy - for bread and pizza

Reservations are recommended. Italian Pizza style. I will be back without doubts

The pizzas are really good! We went back here during our visit to Innsbruck as we wanted to try more. It can be crowded, but the team works hard to make it as smooth as possible and there are quite some tables in the restaurant.

Great place for everything. Family, couples, friends. Well set, great food, nice people serving. Decent price and deliver a lot. Great drinks. Amazing pizza. Pasta was also delicious.

Google
Unassuming exterior hides a charming location that is bigger than expected. Service was good, large and attractive choices of original Italian pizza and a limited choice of other authentic Italian dishes. The pizza was great, well done, right amount of toppings, and high quality ingredients. Choices if nice home made lemonades incl basil and rosemary choices. A clear thumbs up.

Yelp
This was recommended by a bartender from a bar we went and DARE I SAY it's even better than all the pizzas I've had in Italy. It's so different than any of the pizzas I've had in the states. So fresh so tasty! And the pasta was good too but definitely snag the pizza here. Wonderful!

Yelp
after hearing recommendations we decided this was a good choice. service was very poor. crust on the pizza was not crunchy. probably the worst pizza we have had. would not recommend

Yelp
Absolutely AMAZING! I'm grateful for Yelp and the translation button because I saw this restaurant was given 4 1/2 stars and I wanted to see why. The food was fresh, hot, and made to order. But here is the kicker, the bartender (the restaurant was reservations only but the bartender welcomed us to eat at the bar) helped direct us on what was good based on what we like. Understanding we are vegetarians he pointed us in the right direction. Not only did the food hit the spot but the drinks were perfection. The tiramisu was the hypothetical coffee on top (of course served with fresh espresso) Calling himself a bartender but in the USA he would be considered a mixologist we were pointed to yummy whisky drinks, then I changed to rum. As most travelers worry about funds, the best part was he did not lead us to the most expensive stuff. Our tab at the end was the same it would have been if we ordered our boring everyday stuff. This is the food place to visit when in Innsbruck. The music, ambiance, food, and staff are all above par!

Yelp
Really nice atmosphere, make sure you make a reservation as it gets pretty packed. I sat at the bar which is full service also, had a really good pizza, the bartender was very knowledgable and quite the entertainer. I will visit this place again, the reason why I didn't give them five stars is because they did not had Diet Coke or Coke Zero or anything like it, but never the less great place.

Yelp
Excellent place for dinner & drinks. I came alone but the place was packed with people out in groups. They were nice about giving me a table even though I didn't make reservations and helped to translate the menu where I was unsure. The Frutarr del mar antipasto which was fried shrimp & calamari was excellent as was the Quattro fromaggi pizza. They had a spicy oil set at the table that tasted great on top of the pizza. I tried the Moscow Mule as was recommended below and it was awesome.

Yelp
Want a break from German and Austrian food? This is the place! After spending a week in Germany and Austria we really enjoyed finding this restaurant. The service is fantastic and the pizza is wood fired and wonderful. The menu is only in German, but the waitstaff happily translated anything we couldn't understand.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place a few weeks ago after our late night arrival into Innsbruck. The purpose of our trip was to fit in a ski weekend before spring but outside of looking at ski resorts I hadn't done much in the way of research. After dropping off our luggage we went downstairs to the reception desk and asked if they could recommend a restaurant. They seemed very puzzled at this because it was nearly 10 pm and apparently people in Austria would never eat this late. She thought the pizza place down the street might still be open though so we asked her to point us in the right direction and we wandered that way. We were seated in the bar area and handed our menus. The menus were in German but you could translate the majority of the items with common sense so we asked for a glass of red wine and beer and ordered two pizzas. Shortly after we ordered we realised that the light smoke we smelled upon arrival had grown to a small cloud above us. Turns out - it is NOT illegal to smoke inside restaurants in Austria. The 21 year old me wouldn't have batted an eye but this did make for a slightly less enjoyable experience. However, once our food arrived we were mostly able to ignore the smoke. The portions were huge and the pizza looked and smelled delicious. J had the calzone which came with sauce on the side and a salad. It literally hung past the sides of his plate but he somehow devoured every bite. I had the house pizza (wasn't called house pizza but something similar) and it had a perfectly thin crust and generous toppings. Overall a great meal. If I'm ever in Innsbruck again I will go back.
