What a delightful experience I had. Tucked away just off the main street, this charming little place offers a quietly surreal atmosphere: you can hear the tram rumbling past nearby, yet you're seated facing a peaceful side street, carried by a soft breeze. It feels like a small, hidden island of calm. They’ve truly lucked out with the location—close enough to stay connected to the neighborhood, but just far enough to feel like a retreat. I visited during breakfast and ordered the yogurt plate, which, at only 7 euros, was both generous and delicious. I believe the toppings change from time to time, but mine was perfect—simple and genuinely good, just like the place itself.

You cannot not fall in love with this little gem! It's organic from locally sourced farmers, offers many vegetarian/vegan options, the espresso is excellent and the owners are in there every day and extremely friendly and helpful. Certainly crowded on weekends, so better to choose a week day and not have to wait ages for a table. Support local businesses

One of my favourite places in Vienna! You can see the passion of the staff and the great vibe that surrounds this small place. The dishes are made with passionand the products they use are very qualitative. The concept is very nice and hopefully we can find more places like this in Vienna. I've been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and all of the experiences were great. My favourite dish was the eggplant dish which had a fantastic combination of flavours. ❤ If you look for a fancy place, this is not the place to go. :)

I got sick from one of her homemade products. Michela refused to give me money back and argued that it wasn't because of her products although I mentioned that on the label wasn't written clearly what is there. I got allergic reaction and I am sorry I didn't sue her. She mentioned that she got the products from someone who works from home for her and she would improve the recipe and the description. Also the alcohol, I found it too strong and it has no gradation written which is illegal. I am going to ask a lawyer.

he Schwendermarkt is probably one of the smallest markets in Vienna, but culinary no waste land and definitely worth the trip. We had already reported on the breakfast offer in stand 16 - but the tenants have moved on and have taken over Café Heini in Schwendergasse. But there was an almost seamless handover and in November, Nina and Benedikt Strasser moved in with the Landkind, a wonderful farmer's shop with a market café. Small and fine are not only the preferred producers for the store, also with the breakfast offer is paid to quality, seasonality and regionality. The Landkind invites you from Tuesday to Saturday from 09.00 clock for breakfast - and all day. During the week, a small market breakfast is served, on Saturday there is an extended offer and changing breakfast specials. Tuesday to Friday you can enjoy soft egg in the morning (€ 1.60), chives, sprouts or cress bread (€ 1.90), market pawn with 2 eggs and 2 seasonal ingredients (€ 3.50), Ham with horseradish ( € 2,30) or the winter special, a large bowl of mixed flakes with oatmeal, apple, cinnamon and honey or jam (€ 4,90). Saturdays there is also the "Saturday Love for 2" with 2 soft eggs, 2 spreads (pea / sesame, white bean / sheep's cheese, seed oil / curd cheese, jam of unexploited or vegan onion lard), 2 hearty components (Tavce-Gravce - Baked Beans Balkan Style, ham, feta cheese, scrambled, rosemary potatoes or chive bread), 4 pieces of bread / pastries and peach nectar with a carafe of water (€ 15.90) and a "hangover pawn" with 3 eggs, ham, mushrooms, horseradish, chives and a bowl Tavce-Gravce (€ 6,90). As already mentioned, the offer is supplemented by various specials, on our visit were the example. homemade pancakes with apples. But also the food for in between have breakfast potential - various filled Weckerl or various Bretteljausen (eg with cheese, lardo, scrambled, spread and seed oil) in any case also in the morning. The wonderful coffee (Harry & Phil's) comes from the no less wonderful Faema e61 and has in Vienna (still) rarity value. Various organic alpine herbal teas, great juices from Stixpeter and lemonades with syrup from Unwired help to wake up and provide refreshment. We chose Saturday love and eaten soft organic eggs, seed oil toppings spread, apricot-vanilla jam, chive bread, baked beans and delicious bread and pastries from the bakery Schrott. In addition there were fresh vegetables and at the end also a homemade chocolate cookie - we were in the breakfast sky :-). It was really delicious and you can tell, that the producers and ingredients were chosen with love. Since this is a market stall, the space is limited - reservations are not possible. Anyone who manages to get a seat, can look forward to his breakfast in a cozy ambience - here you can spend half the day! Otherwise you can take breakfast in the farm shop also with home, here you will find various products from local producers, eg. Cheese, scrambled, sausages, spreads of hat & stalk , chutneys, syrup of the Unwed and different teas.
