Mixed feelings about the stay
The hotel claims to be a three-star establishment, but unfortunately, it did not meet the expectations of a typical three-star hotel in Italy. It felt more like a collection of Airbnb rooms than an actual hotel.
The access to the rooms is through a staircase outside the building, which also houses local residents, so there is no real hotel complex feeling. Additionally, there is no accessible entrance for those with disabilities, which is a significant drawback. The reception is simply a room, which takes away from the professional feel of a hotel.
One of the positives is the service; the staff was friendly and very helpful, offering great recommendations for restaurants and breakfast spots. However, there is no breakfast service at the hotel itself, and instead, you get a 30% discount at a nearby restaurant or bar, which feels like a missing feature for a three-star hotel.
The room itself was clean, which was appreciated, but there were no smoke detectors in the rooms, raising safety concerns. Given the lack of essential facilities, the price felt quite high for what was offered.
On the bright side, the location is excellent, close to various attractions and amenities. However, with the lack of accessibility, safety features, and basic hotel services, it may not be the best option at this price point.
Overall, if you’re looking for a central stay and don’t expect much in terms of hotel amenities, it could work for you. But for the price, there might be better alternatives available.
