This restaurant is a diamond in the rough. Located in beautiful Begur walking distance to all the sights in town and serving the highest quality of food you will find. The preparation, fresh ingredients and creative cuisine were outstanding. This is a must if you enjoy fine dining and very friendly personal service.

Couldn’t be more satisfied! Excellent service and super friendly staff. They managed to prepare us an outstanding, delicious vegan dinner. They made an effort to make adjustments with some of the dishes so that everything would be only plant-based. Besides the taste, incredibly beautiful presentation of the food plate and with a reasonable price, too. 100% recommended to anyone who visits Begur. Thank you, for the amazing experience.

Very unpleasant experience. That’s exactly what happens when you are waiting for something great, but you are crashing with the reality. Just imagine every single piece of tableware was cracked. It was even funny, to check whether the next plate will be fine. Unfortunately none of them were ok. I do understand that they might be old and have some visible usage traces, but not actual cracks. Food was ok, not great, but ok. You can find much better places nearby.

I dined at Different a few nights ago with friends. It is a small charming interior with inspired plating and table settings which perhaps set one’s expectations a little too high. Mostly the experience was underwhelming. We had fish, pulpo, egg and pork, and at least three other dishes. The Sonos con sal y Lima. - fried small fish with salt and lime - stood out for me as well prepared in clean oil, tasty and fresh. The soft egg and pork dish was unusual and tasty. The other dishes were not memorable. However, the array of breads were delicious, and the service attentive. I’d say it’s still worth another try.

One of the most incredible meals I've ever had. Ordered the "Different Menu" and every single dish was exceptional. The strawberry gazpacho was a highlight, but everything was delicious. Brilliant staff, relaxed environment. 10/10

Excellent service and cuisine - generous portions - very decent price for the lunch menu (25€) with everything going smoothly for our table of four. large selections of excellent wines and cava (Serral del Vell - top bottle). Beautiful plates from fine cuisine designers Luesma & Vega.

The most overrated restaurant from our stay in Emporada wine region. Food is tiny portions, very unusual/flavourless and alot of hype. Avoid the scallops. Particularly rude head waitress who made no effort. Its difficult to enjoy your food when you are left so frustrated. Maybe just a bad night... Begur has so many fantastic restaurants its disappointing to waist a night.

They had only one vegan option - rice with vegetables, but it tasted really great. Unfortunately even though we told them several times that we are vegan, they brought us olives with cheese (parmigiano) as an appetizer.
