I dined at Different a few nights ago with friends. It is a small charming interior with inspired plating and table settings which perhaps set one’s expectations a little too high. Mostly the experience was underwhelming. We had fish, pulpo, egg and pork, and at least three other dishes. The Sonos con sal y Lima. - fried small fish with salt and lime - stood out for me as well prepared in clean oil, tasty and fresh. The soft egg and pork dish was unusual and tasty. The other dishes were not memorable. However, the array of breads were delicious, and the service attentive. I’d say it’s still worth another try.
