Really nice spot near Square Victoria for coffee/pastries. Bright/clean atmosphere, beautiful machine, friendly service and good coffee. Closes early and on weekends which is a bit of a bummer but it’s mainly oriented to the office workers in the area. Got a cold brew which was great.

Cute little coffee shop, with excellent coffee. My cortado was the best I’ve had in montreal. Also, very efficiently run with the nicest baristas and vintage finds. I bought an excellent book and Russian dolls for my toddler!

Nicest baristas / staff working there. Coffee is pretty decent, but their scones are out of this world! Super crunchy exterior and soft and fluffy on the inside. Apparently their blueberry scones are famous. I can see why! They can heat up the scone in the oven if u like it hot as well!

I’ve been going to cafes regularly in Montreal for about a decade and this is in my top 3, if not, the best espresso I’ve had in the city. The espresso in most coffee shops in our city is way too acidic and fruity, often tastes poorly brewed. The espresso at Diff is roasty, not burnt, tastes fresh and the acidity is very balanced. The baristas are always polite, but not the most friendly, and the place is small and cozy. Highly recommend this place

Their coffee is really good. I got a flat white and a breakfast croissant. Then I had to get their chocolate chip cookie with an americano. Everything was 11/10. Staff is nice. Cafe is relaxing and not too loud making it very cozy and pleasant. Picture shows the flat white (after 1st sip, got excited!)

The coffee, the scones, and the croissants are very good. Cozy and clean atmosphere, and the barista (owner?) lady is super pleasant and helpful!

Excellent coffee shop with a beautiful interior space and great drinks. It’s small and looks like it’s run by one person but it’s very efficient and very cool along with having some delicious coffee. The staff was really nice too. I’d definitely recommend this spot if you’re in the area.
