The view is incredible!! It’s worth it to go to this restaurant for that alone. Thankfully, there’s more to appreciate than just that. We arrived 30 minutes early for our lunch reservation and hotel staff let us sit out on the patio to enjoy the view before service began. We enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine before moving inside for our meal. Our waiter was so sweet and he reminded me of my grandfather 🥹🥹🥹. He moved umbrellas around for us to give us some shade while we were outside. Loved him! For lunch we ordered the Chicken and Sea Bream. The chicken was excellent - very tender and had this delicious crust. The Sea bream was also good but very salty.

As a person who's not used to go to places as fancy as this one I am little bit biased but damn... The waiters are the nicest possible, they treat you with the uttermost respect and always with a huge smile, which is great when you compare to french waiters. The meals are exquisite and delicious. The wine choice also is great, huge crush for the Soalheiro Oppaco. And the view... You have a huge panorama on Porto, and by night this is just wonderful to see.

Nice place with a beautiful view on the river. Had a lunch with my friend, really like leak soup and chicken was great, sticky toffee pudding was top😁. The staff was friendly and attentive, but not annoying. The lunch include wine and coffee and we were weary satisfied in the end 😁.

We’ve lived in Porto for 2 years and finally had lunch at the Digby. Everything was wonderful! And the view ….. spectacular!!!

The restaurant is inside a 5 star hotel. It has a balcony with a very nice view over the city and river, right next to the hotel pool. The service was just ok, with nice people taking care of us. However, the food was disappointing. For example, the pastry with goat cheese and tomato was either very unbalanced or the tomatoes were not ripe, something was very off there. On one of the main dishes, the chicken had undissolved rocks of salt that you could feel in you teeth, and the ratatouille was kinda cold. To contrast, the duck risotto was very good, I only felt it was lacking some cheese. The worst was the dessert, where mine was rock hard because, apparently, there was some kind of problem with the freezer, so they brought me another, different, dessert dish. This was the executive lunch menu. Overall, there were a lot of good ideas and flavours there, but the execution was terrible. It was not a very good experience, especially considering it is inside a 5 star hotel.

Absolutely fantastic meal and service! We originally picked this restaurant because of the gorgeous photos of the interior, and the hotel was even more stunning in person. We arrived a little before the restaurant opened and were seated in the flower room to wait (a beautiful area with rose walls and hanging flowers above on the ceiling). When we were seated the hostess showed us the outdoor area and took a group photo of us before bringing us to our table. The drinks were great, and we really enjoyed the food as well - especially the duck ravioli. The golden snitch and Frida Kahlo rose desserts were excellent as well. The presentation and service was 5-star quality, and we had an incredible time at Digby. Thank you Gabriela, Inês, Maurizio, Tiago, and Leandro for making this the highlight of our trip to Porto!

I’m very confused at our experience based on the reviews. Our air bnb host had even recommended this place as a close option, but our experience was so terrible we didn’t stay to dine. Not to mention the prices are very high. You’re paying for the view. You have to wander into the hotel lobby to get to the restaurant, and then through the bar area to get to the hostess desk. The staff in the lobby were cold and unfriendly/not helpful as we tried to locate the entrance to the restaurant but we rounded a corner and eventually ran into the bar tender, who was friendly enough to point us down a dark hallway to the hostess desk we never would’ve found otherwise. Up until this point things had been slightly off but this is where we chose to leave. We asked for a table, and were told no tables. We pointed to the patio that had a few tables with food and drinks, and were told the patio was only open for snacks; we asked when the restaurant would open for dinner; and were told firmly “only snacks until 11:30 PM.” Even though the entire place was clearly a restaurant gearing up for dinner service. It was 5:45 for reference, and we were very open to sitting outside for a snack and drink until dinner service began. We were never asked about a reservation, or told they were booked. After trying to speak to the host and being coldly shut down each time we left. She made it very clear, that for whatever reason, we were not welcome to dine there for formal dinner, so we went to the Door (which was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend)

This was the best meal on our honeymoon to Porto. Everything was amazing and the staff was very friendly and the chef was excellent! My fish dish with mushrooms were next level decedent. This will go on my list to eat at again.
