This was such a great experience. Our host was very knowledgeable about all the Champagne. It was great to see how he could hold the room when jumping between English and French to accommodate for everyone. The Champagne was from small, independent Champagne producers which made it extra special - getting to try Champagne we would never get back in Australia. Would highly recommend this experience.

Did a top level wine tasting here, and it was a wonderful experience. The sommelier was so kind and thoughtful and very explanative. What a wonderful New Year’s Eve!

Google
What a wonderful spot in Paris offering an exceptional champagne tasting experience in a unique, underground cave-like setting. The host was incredibly passionate and deeply knowledgeable about champagne and its origins. The tasting began with four bottles, thoughtfully selected to help you understand the distinct flavors and spirit of each champagne. The walkthrough was engaging, offered in both French and English, and was both thorough and enlightening. A truly diligent and well-paced educational experience, all at a very reasonable price. Absolutely worth your time and money if you're looking to immerse yourself in the world of champagne.

Loved this champagne bar in Paris. The focus is on grower champagne so it’s a great place to come and do a tasting of smaller producers from the Champagne region. I had a great tasting experience and left with a couple of bottles of bubbles. 🥂

I love champagne, so getting the opportunity to do a tasting here was amazing! The staff that helped guide us was knowledgeable, and we enjoyed our tour group (only 5 of us total). We had 3 tastings and an extra add on tasting (for an additional 15€) and some light snacks. I recommend it if you're into champagne!

Google
My boyfriend and I did a champagne tasting here and had a nice time. The explanations of the champagnes and regions were thorough, and we certainly enjoyed the champagne! Tastings were in the basement/cellar where you’re surrounded by champagne. We didn’t make reservations but were graciously welcomed, though I will add we came at an off time on a weekday.

Best champagne testing with very knowledgeable and sympatic host. An absolute place to go when visiting Paris. Call or email to book.

Discover the exhilarating world of Champagne with a wine tasting experience that will leave you craving more! The selection of Champagnes is absolutely outstanding, and the ambiance is simply unbeatable. Don’t hesitate—swing by and ask to join a tasting session, and prepare to be blown away! You won't regret it!

Yelp
Must visit when in Beaune Food, staff and spot - excellent! Family ran and seasonal farm to table menu. Highly recommended for local wine selections and French delicacies.

Yelp
Champagne friends: this place is for us!! A delightful establishment with sales above and a tasting room below. They feature only Champagne (from Champagne, bien entendu) and highlight bottles and vintners generally unknown and unavailable in the US. I have been twice; I loved it so much I had to return. I had a three-glass flight for €50 and savored every sip! Skip the tourist places--this is an easy 6-8 minute walk from the epicenter of the Quartier Latin and just a couple blocks from Le Colvert, my other favorite place! If you love bubbly, definitely go--and if you are one of those "I don't like champagne "-people, may I suggest that you give it a try. You will undoubtedly be quite surprised!

Yelp
This was an amazing experience! The staff was knowledgeable & so sweet. We took our daughter for her birthday and it was a nice treat. We fell in love with 4 of the Champagnes we tried in the tasting so we had them shipped to our home in Portugal for $35 euros, so convenient. Definitely worth it, the wine cave below where the tastings are is complete gem!

Yelp
Extremely poor experience. After being recommended by my sister and brother-in-law, I reached out for a private tasting. The initial response by email from Aurora was welcoming with multiple tasting options. But there followed radio silence. No response to multiple emails over the 4 weeks prior to our trip. I even called Dilettantes. The woman who answered did not identify herself and wanted me to spell our last name as if she had never heard it before and abruptly said she would review the emails and get back to me. Nothing. Rien

Yelp
Located in the 6th near Metro Odeon, this shop dedicated to grower Champagnes which are typically cultivated on small, family-owned estates and lack access to large-scale distribution. (There are, however, a couple references from larger houses.) Dilettantes features a beautiful cave in the basement to do tastings. You can also hold private tastings or private events. Over 25 producers and 130 Champagnes are featured. Amazing wines; great food; and a fabulous (full glasses) tasting. Reservations advised in case there are private events. I loved that the shop is open and tastings are available during the day. You know the big brands...now try artisan-made wines produced with passion and learn the difference. The Wine tastings (flight) changes every two weeks. I loved the producer information cards they offer with each bottle of wine. They also offer tours to the Champagne region. www.dilettantes.fr

Yelp
Loved, loved, loved. One of our most memorable experiences whilst in Paris. We plan on going back in the fall. They have a nice basement cave seating area with access to a toilet! We chose the 3 glasses of champagne and received a thorough explanation of their regions. The gal that served us allowed us to enjoy our champagne while she when back up stairs and checked on us routinely. We enjoyed our visit so much and felt extremely comfortable as we were the only two visiting during the week around 3:30 in the afternoon. We found the price reasonable at about $90 for 2 taste of 3 glasses of champagne each and a bottle to take away. Not bad as we did not want to travel to the champagne region on our short schedule. We look forward to returning soon.

Yelp
We were lucky enough to happen upon Dilettantes during a morning stroll. Great location in St. Germain des Pres and just what we were looking for, a champagne tasting. We came back when the shop was open. Had a great experience, hosted by the owner, Fanny. The store itself has a small room upstairs, and there is also a downstairs set up like a wine cave which is spacious with a long community type table. We did the 3 champagne 'sampler' which really were full pours. Also enjoyed a bite to eat with the tasting, a mix of cheeses and one of the charcuterie meats. Those were lovely as well. We couldn't have been more delighted. The champagnes were wonderful. We bought a bottle of each of the 3 we tried to have back at our apartment for our stay. Fanny is very knowledgeable about the champagne in that she comes from the region and knows many of the producers personally. The selection in the store beyond our tasting is extensive. Clearly hand-picked and very nicely presented in the cellar tasting area. Individual description cards that we brought back with us, about the producers and the champagne. We enjoyed our time there, talked to another couple as we sipped. We were looking for just this experience and were so lucky to happen upon the storefront which had been open only 8 months. Can't wait to return on our next visit to Paris, and possibly may have some shipped back to us in San Francisco. Thank you Fanny for a super experience!

Yelp
If you love champagne, this is the place. Tucked away on 22 rue de Savoie in the 6th, this is a wine shop and tasting bar dedicated to grower champagnes. Grower champagnes own the vineyards from which the grapes are produced. Dilettantes has an amazing cellar dating to the time of Louis XIII where the champagnes are tasted. The typical tasting of three champagnes was 23 euros. Fanny was very helpful in explaining the subtleties of each type of champagne tasted. The prices by the bottle are reasonable and the inventory of producers is incredible. Worth the journey.

Yelp
What a fun time. We were the only people there on a gloomy November day. The tasting menu was decent, but you can choose from several varieties by the bottle. The cheese plate, though not very generous in size, went well with the champagne. It would've been fun even with a group of other tasters. The cellar is intimate.
