Yesterday my brother and cousin went to buy a few items here , they were racially profiled and when he was trying it on one of the workers was being unacceptable and rushed to the fitting room almost knocking the door down he was clearly going to buy the sweater lady if he had already bought the belt and a cologne we teach or family not to steal it’s clearly unacceptable to think like that. we won’t be coming back and buying here it so disgusting how you treat your customers.

Came in while l was waiting for my reservation nearby and since I love timepieces I figured I’d see what they had. Unfortunately I did not end up buying here after the way I was treated by the woman in watches. She had an accent if that helps narrow her down. Anyway I’m a Dillards card holder so there’s that. Secondly I was looking at a TISSOT that I was quite fond of and the woman made me feel like I couldn’t afford the watch and when I asked to try it on she hesitated to let me, and attempted to take it out of my hand when I reached for my cell phone to take a picture of it on my wrist insinuating that I was price shopping stating that it’d be the same anywhere in the world. I never even asked for price because I didn’t need to. Anyway I was very offended and yes I did buy it elsewhere KAY JEWELERS and I’m so glad I did without the discrimination and poor attitude. Beware of how you may be dressed or your race because I felt judged 100%. This associate was a horrible representation of your business.

We come to this Dillards for the James Avery counter. My husband is from Kerrville, TX and we were both surprised and elated to discover there’s a little bit of Texas located in this Dillards. Julie and Mitchell at the JA counter are angels! They’re so helpful and the sweetest, most wonderful people!

It’s a decent store but the ladies god damn they keep following me and my friend making assumptions that we were stealing until he bought a nice shirt then I ended up getting profiled from across the store while looking for clothes I ended up spending $400 please train your employees better

Dillard's is an upper end store with a large inventory and helpful staff. Don't be afraid to go there and check them out. I picked up some really nice bath towels at 50% off. Plenty of parking.

I don't have a Dillard's where I live so I was curious about this place. It feels like a step above Macy's but not obnoxious. Overall clean stand-alone store with well presented items and professional looking staff. There was a lot of curious themed and branded items I discovered. There was even some sales going on that caught my eye.

5 stars for dustin in the jewlery department I walked around for quite some time and dustin was the only person to greet me and ask if I needed help. I ended up buying more than i planned on because Dustin was so helpful and and patient Great sale going in too! Less stars for the bra experience Team member was very kind and tried to be helpful but perhaps was novice or distracted My plan to go to dillard was to get fitted for bras. The size i was told just didnt feel right despite all the styles we tried. When i asked more about how things were supposed to fit , i didnt get any info really .

Dillards is a staple of the Summit mall. We come here all the time because they have everything. My most recent visit, I purchased cologne from the men's section. I was very impressed and pleased by my interaction with Katie. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. Her recommendations were perfect and I even chose the cologne she recommended. She gave both my girlfriend and I insight on the different types of cologne/perfumes. We hope she somehow sees this!

I enjoy shopping at this store so much. The sales people give you time to look and do not hover. Jennifer on the 2nd floor started a room for me and helped grab additional sizes and options, she was a HUGE help! There are plenty of changing rooms and because there is not a ton of foot traffic in the store it's very relaxed to shop. The store is packed with great deals and anything you could possibly need especially for special event... I was very happy to find dressy coverups for a wedding on the first floor. Bryant in shoes was constantly busy grabbing sizes and helping multiple customers at once. He never seemed overwhelmed and always had a smile on his face. This is also One of the only places in Reno where you can find a certified Louis Vuitton bag. Lastly, the home section and men's section are worth a look. Lots of sales and selection in both. Only negative thing is the store is a little dated and needs some TLC .... Better lighting in the store and dressing rooms would be ideal.

What a great experience , when I walked into Dillards it was my first time coming in and it seemed like a place that would not be very inviting or warm with customers. I was so wrong. Kyle helped us in the big and tall section for men's dress wear. He helped find things we were looking for and things we weren't . He was so attentive and efficient. I would work with him again and again.

Went into Dillards today looking for a blazer jacket not knowing anything about sizing or anything. The most friendly was at the mens counter. He offered his help right away. His name is Blake. Blake took measurements explained to us what the differences between styles and anything we could need to know! Thank you soo much to Blake! He deserves all the praise! And a raise!

Ok, so I went to Dillard's to grab some stuff for my daughter's prom. I also bought myself some perfume. I smelled it at the store. It was amazing. So I bought the gift box with tax roughly $189.00. I gave my daughter the travel size & kept the lotion & main perfume bottle for myself. My daughter sprayed her travel size in my bathroom. Again, it smells wonderful. The next morning, I sprayed myself with the big bottle before heading to work. It smelled like metal. I was totally surprised . I did it again the next morning. This time, I shook the bottle and then sprayed. Still metal. Now it's Thursday and I decided to contact the store and tell them everything. I say I am NOT looking for a refund. I just want a replacement. Believing it was defective (bad batch). The lady speaks with her boss. Has me on hold 3 times in 45 minutes. Says bring what I have the 3 items & receipt since I thought I threw the box away. So I go first thing when they open. Now it is Friday. I bought it on Monday. I speak with the lady in the front. Different lady. I wound up speaking with 3 ladies all together. The last lady tells me that she can not refund or replace due to the fact that the box isn't in tact & the perfume has been used. She then tells me that it's a loss for the store. (Like it isn't a loss of money to me! I mean, it stank. I really tried here, but it didn't get better & it did NOT smell like their testers or the travel size in the SAME gift box!!! So as I was leaving, there was a garbage can for them to see. I threw the bottle in there & left. I was soooo disappointed. I have spent soooo much money with them in the last 3 years just for my daughter's alone. Well. Idk ‍ if this helps anyone, but I was told by multiple friends that I should write this review. Too bad I really liked their dress area.

I have NEVER been so unhappy with a department store experience!! After trying and failing to get my problem resolved, I called 2 different numbers and still couldn't get the refund I was owed. Store policy is to return an item through the mail and purchase a whole other item of the same thing, rather than just sending the same item in the appropriate size, which has been my experience with Nordstroms, Lulu Lemons and other stores. With all the information stores keep on customers, you'd think they could look up the return using the customer's name, phone number or other pertinent information. With Amazon one can look up purchase history and the information is all right there. In the meantime, I have spent over $300 on a pair of shoes that cost a little over $154! I had liked the store prior to this experience as they have a good shoe department and the store is just an hour away. Now I'll just wait to go to California and shop at Nordstroms! Yelp needs to have a category for NO stars!!!!

Went in today to look for a pair of Shoes. I wanted at least 15 minutes til I could get someone to help me and the only reason was because the other people got tired of waiting. Let me say it was not busy, just all the help on there phones. The girl I finally got to help me brought me the shoes I wanted but when she pulled out of the box they had obviously been worn and returned. I told her I would take them if she could get me a new pair. She said fine and left to get a new pair. She was gone for a long time and when she got back she handed me a closed box. I asked her if these were new shoes and she said yes. I opened the box and they were the old shoes that she tried to clean because they were wet!!! This is the worst service and trying to pass off old shoes as new ones is very bad business. They were very expensive shoes at $195!! She should have just said they didn't have another pair instead of trying to fool me.

The best selection of men's clothing in the entire Reno Sparks area. Men's shoes are simply next level. The Cole Hann collection is so dope. From suits to casual Dillards has dudes covered. Plus shopping for my girlfriend is always a hit. Purse's all the designer brands. Dillards still has a gift wrapping department which does a amazing job. I would diffidently recommend Dillards

I had came into Dillards on 1/1/2024 with my family. I was looking for shoes and a certain perfume. Upon looking at the testers for perfume, there were testers on the outside and testers on the inside of glass counters with the register in the middle and several openings to the inner counters. I noticed the perfume I was looking for and went to try the tester. Upon which, a very rude worker confronted me asking if she could help with anything. I said no and that I was just looking then she yelled at me to get out of the area I was looking in. I apologized telling her I didn't know because the cash register is in the middle section and I was not behind the counter where the register was. She then yelled at me again saying "yeah, in what country is it ok to be behind the counter!?". The thing is that I was not behind the counter where the register was. If customers are not allowed in the area where the testers are, there should be signs or the entrances should be closed off and it should not look as if customers can shop there. The register was in a separate location and I was not behind that counter or behind the register. There was no need, at all, for the employee to be rude. This employee was so awful, I can't believe they would treat their customers that way. The lady was about mid-40s with very short brown hair and glasses. Could assume that it was a hate crime because I was there with my wife and son and we're obviously a lesbian couple. Worst customer service that I and my family have ever experienced. Nobody should talk to customers the way she did. She then continued to stare at us as we continued shopping until we walked out. I would not dare purchase anything from this store location.

I miss their New Year's Day sale, that's when I would really stock up on the best deals and clearance Christmas decorations. I stopped in for the first time in years and I'm just not a fan of the shopping experience I have when browsing around. Sometimes I'll find something but for their prices on some things, online shopping it's just the way to go. For myself, Dillard's is just meh.

This is a very nice, high end store that has some great deals when seasons change. Thought I'd pop in to see if I could return a dress from awhile ago, but the policy is 90 days unless you have a receipt. Unfortunately, it was beyond 90 days and the receipt was no where to be found. No worries, got find me a hot date so I can make some use out of this dress (lol). Lots of people in the shoe department. Somewhat of wait to try on a pair of shoes. Not a successful shopping trip, but a chance to get out and enjoy some different scenery and get some fresh air. Saved some money too. Dillards is a pretty safe place to go if you're testing the waters and going out during this covid19 debacle.

Totally adding this store to my shop and save list because there are some great sales on name brand merchandise! I've always liked Dillard's. Could be because my grandmother was obsessed with shopping there. She always knew when the next sale was, what was on it, and sometimes even got to pre-shop the sale too! As a result, we seemed to always be well dressed. She obviously rubbed off on my mom because now she keeps up with all of it, and it just so happened the sale was during her trip to see us here. While the two ladies shopped, I tested the child suitability of this store. I'm pleased to say the wide aisles make a great runway for a toddler, while supervised rides on the escalator add to the fun. Worth noting are the comfortable man chairs in the women's dept and the quiet corners for taking a nap! Go see what you find!

9/17/2018: Dillard's, Dillard's, Dillard's! I would summarize Dillard's retail is a cross between Needless Markup and Bloomies . . . Lol~I just thought you should know first hand the type of products Dillard's Buyers purchases on the behalf of their loyal customers. More importantly, there are no stock-turn or 10-cents on the dollar, liquidation items sold at Dillard's and noted, there are very few markdown clothing racks; it seems as if, Dillard's quickly sells their products flying off their racks and shelving! Simply surprisingly amazing! Dillard's Buyers are keen purchasing key, specific brands which expediently sells and there is never enough of the same item: No fear ever stumbling upon a Bobsie Twin dressed exactly like you which is an unadulterated, fashion faux-pas, n'est ce pas? Certes précisez les motifs clés, Monsieurs, Madames, et Mademoiselles~tee-hee-hee, n'est ce pas?!

One of my favorite places to shop! I recently lost a whole lot of weight and then got a new job - I have to dress in business professional attire and all I own are jeans. I decided to whip out my Dillards card and go shopping. The disappointing thing is stock level. I found a whole rack of appropriate dress pants, but only one pair in the right size. So I left with one pair of pants, one sweater, and a new handbag. Sigh. But I love the atmosphere. Just get better with the inventory levels in all sizes.

So, after the regional director / manager of the entire West Coast operations of Dillard's contacted me, my more than warranted apology was issued with the plea to give Dillard's another shot. Very reluctant, and it took me well over a year, I went back in to shop for some threads for a Chaldean wedding and San Diego that I was to attend. The wife went about her way looking for dresses, and I went to the men's section, just looking for any garb that I found palatable. And the men's section, I encountered a gentleman by the name of Roland. Guy is a fashion genius. I browsed sport coats, when I got approached by Roland. We gabbed a bit, he showed me a variety of sport coats, and he even knew my size without even measuring me first! I explained to him my disdain with a prior employee that I had encountered in my very first review of this place. He ( as well as other employees throughout the store) knew exactly who I was speaking of, and had reassured me that she had been fired around that time I had been there before. I also explained that the regional director had contacted me. He apologized on their behalf, and for dillard's, was way over as far as professionalism goes. After buying my jacket, he recommended a few shirts, which I bought, then moseyed on over into the shoe department to buy me a badass pair of kicks. The girl in the shoe department was a bit squirrely, but she was cool. Just kind of different. I went back to Dillard's again about a week or so ago to buy some smell good. I talked to a really nice girl at the cologne counter, when I then again brought up the prior employee that I had had the issue with. She knew exactly who I was speaking of as well, and also offered an apology. Sadly, I had learned on my trip last week, that Roland had actually passed away. He was one of the best employees at Dillard's I've ever encountered, and very very knowledgeable, very kind, so my condolences go out to his family and friends and the rest of the staff at Dillard's enduring this tragic loss of such a great man... I'm really happy that I gave Dillard's another shot. Because now, they have regained a faithful customer. Thank you dillard's, and RIP Roland

A group I'm in was invited to come out for a girls group by the area sales manager Dyana services were makeover, facial or skin lesson during their event scentsational masquerade. The girls were dressed in beautiful masks some even had painted masks! My artist Abby was very sweet and took her time teaching me how to use each product she was applying. There was never any pressure to buy anything. The girls were super sweet and provided us with little goody bags. They even took a picture with out group. Some of the girls were so pleased they ended up buying make up but weren't expected too. Dyana even out to greet each member and introduce herself. Would definitely come back even for a solo maKe up treat!

I went in for a gift card and left with a couple of new clothing pieces from Daniel Cremieux, and their sale rack was also very intriguing. I can't wait to go back and shop here again!

I recently attempted attempted to return three garments purchased from the men's department on March 17, 2021. Evidently, these items were on sale, and part of the fall winter collection. As such, they have a three day return limit, which is printed on the receipt. I asked to return the garments for cash or store credit. The manager on duty said the return was impossible because that collection had already been transferred out of the store. My original trip to Dillards, when making the purchase in question, was my first time in a department store in a year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. During that visit, I received unskilled assistance as the men's department was not staffed. I purchased 3 sport coats and several dress shirts with no proper fitting assistance. The return policy was not highlighted by the sales associate. With the fierce competition for retail market share, it's a bit surprising to me that your business fails to capitalize on the in person experience. Dillards had the opportunity to gain a customer through exemplary customer service, (how hard is an exchange to get a customer in a proper fitting sport coat). Instead of a returning customer, you have an unhappy customer sharing their poor experience.

They have fabulous sales, often 40% off and really good options. I have purchased my suits here during their sales and find them to have high quality products. Heart broken.....simply heart broken. My company bought me a watch and needed to be sized, beautiful silver Michael kors with a white face, so I call Dillard's my go to for basically everything. I speak with Carla, and let her know my situation, my company gave me this watch and it needs to be sized, can you do it? She says yes. I get to the store and get to the watches department and the nice young man takes it and starts working on it. I check out the late spade purses because baby mommas anniversary and I is coming up and it's time to take that step and move from MK to kate spade I come back and the watch fits perfectly!!!! One small issue, no biggie tho, the links were put on backwards so it doesn't close how it used. The young man take the watch and starts working on it again. Amanda sees me from Jr's I think, and comes over to the purses to see if she can help out with the decision making on which purse to get. We decide on the one and get back to the watch, come to find out we can seem to put the band back how it was. At this point the young man seems to be getting frustrated because he can't fix the watch and asks me, do you have your receipt? I try to explain the story just as explained to Carla when I called in about half an hour earlier. I get maybe a word or two out before being cut off and told, technically we can't adjust watches if they're not purchased here..... I go on to try to explain everything that has taken place prior to getting the watch adjusted before being told again, we can't adjust watches if they're not purchased at Dillard's. I get the pleasure of meeting Carla, such a delight, and we try to see if there is something we can do at this point, because the watch fits but the bands are backwards which causes an uncomfortable feeling and even more uncomfortable getting on and off. Carla being the sweetheart she is tries to explain how sometimes these kind of watches have to be taken to a jeweler for adjustment, and I'm thinking to myself, "you guys carry the same exact watch here, are clients sent to jewelers to have these watches adjusted???" The young man just says they can be adjusted if they're purchased there..... The young man steps away from the situation and goes to another counter to keep staring at me in such an uncomfortable way Unfortunately Carla and Amanda were unable to figure it out but I so appreciate the fact that although a mistake was made they tried and did not take the easy way out.... Just a fair customer service requiring some training due to few rude behavioral patterns and just a bad attitude, although it seemed like reactions to anger with themselves or their perceived inadequacy... Please hire some happy, upbeat staff, who enjoys working with people and it is particularly good at interacting with others (extroverts, a real people persons).

It's a bit pricey for me most of the year. But on New Year's Day a friend and I can easily spend three hours here and we did. All clearance items are an additional half off. Be prepared- use restroom before going and bring a large tote to carry your purchases. Hit the shoes first and last - for several hours they bring out stacks of shoe boxes constantly. Shoes originally over $100 for as low as $17. Weave in and out of every department as racks are all over. My booty included jeans, 6 sweaters and a pair of shoes for under $150, easily about $500 on a regular day. Beware - do all your shopping first, so you can try everything on at the same time. Why ? Because waiting lines at the dressing rooms are long. The one day a year I shop here.

I am a regular shopper at Dillard's. Since it is the biggest store in town now. Most of the time, I came here for the boys staff. Such as their shoes, hat, clothes. I just hope they have more selections....more brands.

It was the best of retail, it was the worst of retail. What exactly does customer service mean at Dillard's? My wife wanted shoes, and I wandered through the Men's Department. She got fantastic service, told me about it, and even told the young lady that she was doing a fantastic job. She was knowledgeable and took the time to bring out five different pairs of shoes. As I wandered the Men's department I actually bumped into two young employees sitting on a counter. One did say hello, but that was all that I got. Back in the day when I worked retail clothing there was always something to be doing, and, based on my experience in the men's department, there were things to be doing. I still remember, 'If you've got time to lean, you've got time to clean." That little saying applied to rounders that needed to be sized and straightened, racks that had been gone through, and even the floor, that could have been vacuumed. To provide further clarification, this was not all of the Men's Department, in other sections of the Department there were sincere people attempting to provide customer service. The negative vibe I got was primarily in the young Men's Department. So, the women's shoe department get's five stars, and the young Men's Department get's one, averaging to a three. It's sad, and I'm hoping this is the exception and not the rule. Dillard's has good quality merchandise, and they generally try to provide good customer service. I hope yesterday was a one-off.

I was shopping at Dillard's yesterday,and one particular employee made me feel like I was a thief. Yes I do no not dress to impress I dress for comfort however that should not matter. I should have abandoned my purchase, however I needed an outfit for a fast approaching wedding. This was my first experience in Dillard's and my very last. I will give my money to businesses that respect their customers. I give this store 100 negative stars.

Every January 1st, Dillard's has the amazing sale. The prices are low, therefore, the sale attracts throngs of people looking for bargains. And bargains they have, for example, today I bought a Nautica sweater, 2 Nautica long sleeve T-shirts, and Calvin Klein boxer shorts. Total bill a little over $71.00. The original price of the sweater was $89 bucks. I have to admit it takes patience, a good eye, looking for what you like, and did I say patience. It can be hectic, but better to go early before merchandise gets disheveled and mixed with other brands. Also the more popular sizes are more apt to be in supply. To my current knowledge of retail sales, I would say, in the Reno area, this is the sale of the year. Mark your calendars for January 1, 2019.

The customer service here is really bad. Noone is available to help and this was pre covid. Now when you come there is noone available to buy/return. Today I searched around, found a place to return, we had to go upstairs then that counter could not return the item, then I had to go to the customer service desk. I told her gosh this is the third counter I have been to she didn't say a thing...no I'm sorry etc. Then she couldn't figure out how to return it. It took 20 minutes. Go to Nordstrom Rack or Macy's instead. Much more seamless and better service.

I went to Dillard's with my 5yr old daughter to get some clothes for both of us. We had a great experience upstairs with the sales associate in the Women's department. Then we went downstairs to look for a Shu Uemura (sp) eyelash curler. I have had one for years and wanted a new one but I was open to another brand as well. We walked through the makeup section 6 times and not one associate made eye contact nor asked if I needed help. I had my big bag so clearly I was willing to spend some money. Maybe it was my daughter or that I was wearing jeans and a T-shirt. Very disappointed.
