I had a wonderful 8-night stay at the Dilman.||The location is very practical – just a short walk to the historic section of town and only a ten minute walk to the train station. Because I used Bari as a base to explore the region, being close to the train station was very handy. The area around the hotel is lovely – shops, cafés, restaurants, and bookstores all nearby. I never felt unsafe returning to the hotel late in the evening, despite there being no staff there at night.||The front desk staff, Raffaella, Alessia, and Norberto could not have been nicer or more helpful. When I called the hotel to book my room, Raffaella was very helpful in answering my questions about the practicalities of visiting various towns in the region by train. Alessia provided helpful advice regarding tours in Bari, and Norberto was always so cheerful, gracious, and accommodating. They were all such a pleasure to interact with.||The hotel is quite modern and sleek. My room, 301, was spacious for one person, was full of light, and had a lovely balcony that ran the entire length of the room. Breakfast is served in the adjacent café/bar. The menu was somewhat limited, but service was attentive, the food arrived quickly, and it was well-prepared. ||I highly recommend this lovely, clean, well-located hotel with an absolutely terrific staff.
